I don't believe 1.8bn Naira is for house rent. I think the info is wrong. Maybe he bought the condo/apt for 1.8bn not rent. How will he rent for $5m/annum in Nigeria when he's not mad. People should Google about "Eko pearl tower" pricing. |
You are right but do we have a form of "Patriot Act" in our own law iamJ: |
Sorry Bro, National Security is not greater than the rule of law. Buhari said this sometimes last year and many lawyers corrected him. Push your national security breach pieces of evidence to the court and prove to the judge beyond a reasonable doubt so that bail will not be approved cos once the Judge approves bail and the conditions are met, the defendant must be released iamJ: |
God Bless you for shutting up the insensitive guy that pulled up irrelevant cases. It's Sowore today, it could be anybody tomorrow. Why should a Govt agency be against the rule of law. Let's forget the event that led to his arrest. He has been granted bail and he has met his bail conditions, then free him. madridsta007: |
Forget the event that led to his arrest. He has been granted bail, why is he still in DSS custody. It's Sowore today, it could be you tomorrow. iamJ: |
"I shake my head for you". Why bringing in all these cases when we are talking about a Government disobeying the rule of law. It could be you tomorrow. Eteka1: |
Many people die while doing S**t to make money or in-between the good life stage and the repentance stage. Awol1: |
7 private jets for 14+ million dollars? Maybe 7 80’s jalopy jet. I would prefer commercial economy to such jets. Risking my life all in the name of flying private jet. |
He should track every penny his foundation is giving out. I don't trust our politicians |
We will see how it plays out with the Lakers. I think your post overate AD. AD is very good but I will never replace Giannis for him. AD is huge and intelligent but lacks speed. His lack of speed will even be exposed more in his new team filled with tall huge slow players. chic2pimp: |
Go see a specialist. I knew a guy who experienced similar issue and they found out it was a small kidney stone causing the problem. They recommended some drugs that will dissolve the stones. The Doctor told him that if drugs don't dissolve the stones, they will do minor surgery to remove it. Drugs did and he's very fine now. Don't be worried but don't take it with levity. Find a specialist hospital to check you up. |
I think the surest income to retire with is real estate in a choice area in Lagos/Abuja/Ibadan. I added Ibadan because the city will be exposed after they complete the Lagos/Ibadan railway and highway. Both should be completed in 2020/2021. Imagine moving from Lagos to Ibadan in 45mins by train, that will automatically decongest Lagos. Also, fuel lifting will be pushed to Ibadan. I think our Govt cannot control inflation and only God and our youths know when we are going to have good leaders. How can a country's inflation rate be double-digit year-on-year? It means if you invest in a fixed deposit or Treasury Bill and keep withdrawing your returns, your initial investment will worth zero Naira after 10years. Our unstable Govt policies can destroy businesses/stock market at any given time. That's why I believe real estate in Naija especially Lagos is a low risk. An 8 3-bed rental property that can be stacked on 1plot of land in places Lagos mainland like Maryland, Anthony, Ikeja (not GRA) can generate 8m annually in perpetuity. On the Island, like Ikota, Chevron, Lekki axis can generate 16million Naira in perpetuity. If you have a rental property in Lagos, you can decide not to live in Lagos to avoid the hustling and bustling and the high cost of living. People are not living long in Lagos; the air is bad, traffic is frustrating, flooding during the raining season is a headache, poor security and so on. If you are from S/W, cities like Ilorin, Ibadan, Abeokuta, Osogbo are nice places to retire to. They have a very low crime rate, serene environment, and they have a village-like life enjoyment. Before retirement; Have your own house that means no rental payment Have a good car that has good resale value. You can keep selling the car every 3yr, add a little money and buy another one. Build a little education investment fund for your children or unborn children and keep compounding that in Treasury Bill/Fixed deposit/bond. That fund must guarantee your children a world-class tertiary education anywhere in the world. After retirement, your one rental property will perfectly take care of the remaining expenses like other children education expenses, food, flexing, vacation, extended family, etc |
This betting thing is another crisis in our hands. This is just the beginning. I hope our leaders wake up and regulate that industry. Betting is an illusion of hope. One of the terms and conditions of all bookmakers says, bet what you can afford to lose. If at all you must bet, do it for fun. |
wetin white again after ......... |
If that is true, he needs to change. Have you sought medical help? If no, you need to work on that first. Keep talking to him but if you start having suicide thoughts, u may need to go for counseling and leave the house. Please, don't hurt yourself o. If you do, he's going to get over it after 1 or 2 yrs and remarry. |
She's not Nigerian. Admin should do simple "google search" verification before pushing any post to front page. |
Thanks for the questions. Yes, I am useful to my community Yes, I clear my drainage and even sweep my street. I don't do it alone, I encourage other youths to join me on Saturdays. You cannot even see indiscriminate waste dumps in my area cos I have made every youth in my area very responsible. You must be a Prophet, how do you know I'm poor? Just google endowment funds of Ivy League Universities in advanced countries. Nations are not only built by the Government. Many of those beautiful things u see in advanced countries are not only built by Govt. I emphasized in my previous post that it is the duty of Govt to build schools but the majority of our Elites are not playing their roles. They are very useless. They prefer buying houses and luxurious cars. It's only in Nigeria that I see people so foolish enough to buy cars and not thinking of the road where they will be driving them on. A few weeks ago, people are helping a rich guy push Lamborghini Aventador worth $350k-$400k out of water in Lekki. Can you even use 20% Lambo features on Naija roads? That's how foolish some of them are. Warren Buffet donated two-third of his wealth to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Bill Gates uses over $1B of his money to eradicate polio in Nigeria, a country where he has zero ties with. Even 95% of us are using fake Windows OS. So, wetin e gain from us. A 72 yr old billionaire Atiku from Adamawa is waiting to become a President before he can contribute something very meaningful to society. A dream he may or may not achieve in his lifetime. 72 yr old in Naija na overtime, our life expectancy is 52. That means, he's closer to the grave than earth. I can list 5 Billionaires from that Adamawa State that can fix their education sector. Are we taking this money to heaven? Can we sleep in 2 houses at the same time? Can one person finish a cow in a day? We still need to keep criticizing our Govt but our Elites must also wake up. The poor will revolt someday and it may be brutal to all of us that think we are safe. Xisnin: |
God bless you. Every time Govt Govt Govt. I know this is the duty of Govt but our Elites are very useless. You will be surprised that someone has Lamborghini in the community where d schl resides. The same Elites ignoring these kids will be donating for goals scored in a tournament. Donating to players earning millions in Europe IamPatriotic: |

Rot in jail. They want to enjoy while destroying the lives of gullible teenagers |

Haba..PhD holder. If there is going to be a repeat of the Jonestown Massacre, it will be in Nigeria. It seems religion don chop my people brains |
Funny people. We are still struggling with 4G LTE coverage, my people are talking of 5G NR. 4g Advanced pro can even give us as high as 1Gbps if fully optimized. So, what is the necessity for 5g right now in Nigeria when you barely get 5Mbps in the best 4G coverage. |
I checked his pair of shoes first. |
I thought ladies love bad boys |
If ECOWAS want to do anyhow, we will support Naijaxit. "Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory He will reveal to us later" It's temporary pain, let's endure. If we increase our local productions, the plan to take 100million out of poverty in 10yrs can actually work. I want Buhari to ban imported phones, ban imported software in our major institutions, etc. If you can't totally ban them, tax a hell out of them. Necessity is the mother of invention. I don't mind going back to the era of legacy phones like 3310, so far it is made in Nigeria. People want to make Nigeria their market and they don't want to produce here whereas we have millions of our youths jobless. I know FG needs to improve infrastructures but some companies can still manage to produce with what we have at present. Nobody will force our youths to invest in Agriculture when they see their mates making 100% returns in 9months. |
At least the whole world will dump the tatakuku (locomotive) train to us when they are done with them very soon. I think we are like 100 yrs behind the Western world. Adrian98: |
I only watch AFTV when Arsenal loses. It's an interesting channel |
1yr that will come and go in a twinkle of an eye. Go and knock those classes out sharp sharp. Issues happen and you just have your own taste of the other side of life. You have not disappointed anybody. Be focused and pass those classes. Baba, more failures will still come in the future, be prepared. BathingSoap: |

I love your counter lessons. [s]If he had been harder working he would have been able to afford a taxi and non of this would happen. So, another lesson: don’t be too hardworking![/s] He might be saving for books [s]Another lesson: don’t plan ahead, be an irresponsible person and arrive just any how[/s] He used what he can afford. He didn't arrive late [s]Another lesson: don’t care about embarrassing your self and your family[/s] Maybe he even wore his Christmas clothes. [s]Another lesson: don’t network with people who’d be able to give u a ride. Be a loner.[/s] He can network but don't necessarily have to blend. Blending is like you want to be exactly like them. You know if we blend tomatoes with rodo/tatashe pepper, you can't separate them again. They look the same after blending. Network means you are still your self. You have your own "IP address" but you request resources/info from others CanadaOrBust: |
