You can try to deny it but a large number of Nigerians in the diaspora who have a house to themselves today or will buy in future can only achieve it through a mortgage and you don't need to be in the most glamorous of all jobs to own a home in most of these countries because individuals are means-tested before loans are handed to them and such loans are protected with different forms of insurance ( mortgage insurance, life assurance, income protection insurance etc.)

He has a genuine point and liberals like me love to hear alternative solutions to the status quo and not the normal shenanigans our politicians dish out to appeal to emotions. I guess this submission and the widening of the tax bracket are different ideas that are not common for politicians to come up with...

I am seriously worried for how things are going in this country, especially when it comes to food.

Within the last one year, my monthly budget for food has tripled even with how; meanwhile the quantity has even reduced over time.

Most of my budget is on feeding and transportation. that I could not buy any materials things for my self.

Earlier last week, I wanted to get bread but there was no bread at all. The gist was that bakers are on strike, and it’s connected with their rising cost of production.

If it’s a miracle that we are managing to eat daily, what then is the hope for the majority of Nigerians who live below the poverty level?

With this crazy inflation, high cost of living, rising fuel cost, forex palaver, among other issues, Nigerians might just need to brace up for another recession and at the most unfortunate time.

Salary week is here but don’t get excited. In fact, don’t be surprised if you can no longer afford certain basic things you used to buy in the nearby supermarket.

Don’t get mad, it’s not their fault.

I was asking my friend on whatsap what the "government can possibly do to help". then I got the shocking information that a certain government agency (Nigeria Customs Service) is partly, directly responsible for how things especially food products have become so expensive in this country! �

This government agency is heaping misery on Nigerians through arbitrary duty charges on importers bringing in food commodities, which then affects the cost of finished goods and food prices that we all suffer. ��

but for now I need to ask: how are you surviving?

Auchi Poly student declared wanted after allegedly killing her boyfriend over infidelity.

Favour, a student of Auchi polytechnic Edo state is currently on the run after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death.

It was gathered that the incident happened at their residence in Auchi on saturday july 23rd when the suspect found out that her boyfriend, Jigga was cheating on her. A source reports that Favour in anger, used a knife to send the victim to the great beyond.

She fled after committing the act and a manhunt has been launched for her. Favour is hearthless because she had a son for another man and Jigga decided to take care of her and the child. Its heartbreaking this is how she decided to pay him back just because of a mere allegation" a source said.

Despite Dapo Dagboru of Ogun State practically doing nothing for over 3 years now, they still support him.

Despite Tinubu’s many glaring atrocities, he’s their lord and saviour.

The only time they hate you is if you go against Tinubu like they hated Fashola, still hates Ambode and Osinbajo for daring to go against Tinubu.

So, which Yoruba politicians do Yorubas genuinely hate for being inept or for being corrupt?
