Supreme145: I was on my own chilling jejely when my next door neighbor knocked on my door, he said I wanted movies so I let him into my room reluctantly. I hardly relate with my co tenant's beyond hi hi greeting so I was kinda uncomfortable letting him into my room.
He sat down and had this bewildered look on his face, the next thing I heard was, Bros omo you get mind dey stay inside this kind empty room o, so na ontop this kind flat bed you dey run all these your babes wey dey come see you ehhn....nawao you be badt guy oo. So na ontop this bed that one wey get big nyash dey even lie down with all slay queen shakara. He kept blabbing while I kept silent, I asked him so even if I want to buy a better it should be because of ladies baa, and he said ehhhn now, how you go dey run matters on top this mat. This someone that I gave transport fare to go and meet someone he said was owning him.
He kept quizzing me on how I'm able to attract ladies despite the vaguely furnished room, I went on to tell him that girls are not my problem now. Moreover I'm not dating most of them, I run projects for people so some of them are people I'm working for.
Even though I've developed a tough skin to this kind of negative comments, I was upset though I masked my embarrassment. But why do some guys feel everything must be to impress ladies, I for one don't have time for them and I'm fully focused of sharpening my programming skills in order to get a job before the year runs out so I can renew my rent by January. For someone that was once homeless and slept in lecture halls, this my current place is like a duplex to me, and how I got this place is still a miracle to me.
Hence my question is the room really that bad? I've visited some friends and my room is nothing to write home about. Is it so bad that the guy feels I am not worthy to have a girlfriend just because of it?
Ladies can you date or marry a guy living in this kind of apartment? OP don't listen to anybody who tell you to buy anything, you room is so cool, atleast for a guy trying to start up, to tell you the truth, your room is even better than mine. continue what you are doing, save, invest and give yourself a target, in years you can get better and bigger house and good home appliances and for me, that should be when I am ready to settle down. I repeat, continue what you are doing, you are doing well. |

jaelz: We all know that most relationships nowadays between a man and a woman just boils down to the man giving the girl money with the girl returning his favor back with sex, but off recent I went to my friends place and I was so shocked and impressed by their relationship; the boy was teaching her frontend engineering and from what I got she has already gotten an internship role with a big fortune 500 tech company already. He made known to him that everything in his kitchen and almost all his deodorants and body sprays were all gifted to him by the girl.
This really had me shook honestly, I mean things like this still happen in relationships of nowadays? OP and you think the guy is benefiting because she gifted him some kitchen utensils and boxers? |

Romance › Experience With Daddy's Girl by Saintinoo(op): 7:15am On Nov 25, 2021 |
I was having a discussion with some pals yesterday, someone pointed out that ladies that are very close to their father, like being showered too much love by their father don't last in a relationship or have bad marriage.
Reason is that they always compare the love you show them with that of their father's.
Nlanders, what is your experience with these type of ladies, have you dated one before, how did it end. |
Romance › Re: What Can I Do by Saintinoo(m): 7:05am On Nov 25, 2021 |
Iamzealousman: There's this girl I met in a city, when I met her I was working. She's a good girl. Though she's independent financially. I asked her out once last year August she said no. Though ever since I asked her out she started moving more closer to me. But unfortunately I lost my job that same August and I wasn't motivated with her anymore. Because she became financially better than me and all sort. I moved away from that city in search of a job, till now I have not gotten another job. But around February this year, she called me to inform me that she's gotten a job. And she complained that I haven't been calling her. That are we fighting? I ensured I stopped contacting her anymore ever since I left that city. I noticed after she got to Lagos she calls me more often. Even with the fact that I told her of my job status.(unemployed). She still keep calling In fact around June this year she told me that she misses me. I said okay that I missed her more. She has been trying to get jobs for me tho. She even informed me of a vacancy at her place of work. But unfortunately I missed out at the last stage of the interview.
Tho I like this girl but dating a girl financially buoyant than me is a problem. And I don't really know what she wants if it's a relationship or friendship. I wanted a relationship with her tho.
Part of the reasons why I don't know what she wants is that when we were in the same city. We go to church programs together etc and after work every day we walk together. People noticed this and they thought we were dating so she said we shouldn't walk openly together.
Now, I don't even call her she's the one that calls For your own good and your sanity, stay away from her. |

Romance › Re: My Girlfriend Been Living With Family Friends Whose Son Is Asking Her Out by Saintinoo(m): 7:02am On Nov 20, 2021 |
needsansa: I'll cut the long story short.
I met this girl sometimes in 2018. She was living with her aunt who was not being nice, and early 2020 she returned to her mom. Im fact it was so terrible that and she survived several abuses from her aunt's husband, which she told me. I was actually the main force behind her eventual liberation and relocation to her mom. We've been together all through.
Then, mid this year, things went rough with her mom, and the poor woman returned to the village. Then she landed with this family friend of theirs(not related, but their mothers are old friends). This family lives a stone throw to her mom's place.
She's told me before she joined this family how their last son was troubling her for a date, but she has been refusing. Then mid this year she moves in with same family. It is a family of 3 boys. She would always be the one cooking for the family. Sometimes, she would have to cook and wash for the same boy and take food it to his house (which is a short distance from d family house). It did not stop there, anytime they are broke, the mother would send her to go and beg the same guy for money (teasing her that she has a way of collecting money from her son).
If I had d means I'd have also gotten an apartment so we could have more time together, but things neva set..I dey hustle nor be say I lazy, but soon sha God go perfect am.
I know what and what could have happened in all this drama but I want to gear from my agbas in the building - how should I go about this matter. Thank u.
Don't worry u can yab me First of all, how old are you and the girl also. |

Denvacandy: We got married in 2018 and things where going smooth, i was working with a company in port harcourt and i can bodly say i was very okay, taking flight is not an issue.
When she wanted to give birth to our first child, it was through CS and i paid every damn bills amounting to 500k or so.
We moved down to ogun state and i was taking flight monthly to see her from port harcourt.
Fast forward to 2020, the comapny fold up and i lost my job, i came down to ogun fully with my wife and everything went down, feeding was hard and my savings is drying up.
You know how woman do and how to satisfy them so my savings eventually dried up and the reality was down.
She applied for a teaching job at govt school and she got employed and i was always at home.
Do she was supportive but its didnt took long when she changed and started treating me badly.
I was so sad the day she utter all terirble words to me, on how have not been a good husband and how i have not been dropping money for food and co.
how i have not been taking care of her, i almost moved to tears and i refused to eat her food for some period, i was being supported by a street friend.
How can someone you have sacrificed so much for all of a sudden change and bring out thier true color. Sorry about your wife behavior, to the guys who believe that you should make money before looking for a wife, this is an example of what is waiting for you. Women are moved by what they see, she might just love you for your money and when the money finish, she starts loving the next guy with the money. |

Fredamanda: Please guys ignore the grammar, I need urgent advice because I am dying slowly towards my wife altitude.
I am a young guy working from home and I try all my best to make my wife happy always but there is one attitude in her which I am not comfortable with and I don't know how else to explain to her after I have tried so much for her to start up something.
She is a graduate with good result but she does not want to do anything rather she prefers staying at home maybe because I am working from home. My problem now is that she is pregnant and she got admission for her masters in one of the Eastern Universities while we live in lagos which she does not want to go and owning to the fact that she is not doing anything in the house and she is not working, I really want her to go for that masters and is causing big issues between two of us.
Please kindly advice me on what to do. Your wife refused to work and you allowed her to go for masters, to do what with the master's degree? to show off to her friends or what. |
Family › Re: What's So Special About Getting Married? by Saintinoo(m): 7:41pm On Nov 12, 2021 |
Dainy1: Honestly, I don't understand this. Is this an act of hypocriacy or what truth are they really hiding from us? They claimed marriage is not important, not for everyone, that you can stay single and be having children outside wedlock, so long as you can take care of them. Yet, they go about talking you down as soon as you're of age and have no wife/husband.
A girlfriend of mine in her late thirties just declared she's getting married and everyone is sharing her up, sending her congratulatory messages as if she has not been existing.
Does marriage really worth that hyping or what's so special about it that civilization is hiding from us? Not trying to look down on you, and I believe you might be older than I am but when you grow to a certain age you will understand why marriage is important. though one should get married to the right person. |
Business › Re: I Want To Relocate To Lagos, Have No Where To Stay For The Moment! Need A Guide! by Saintinoo(m): 2:40pm On Nov 06, 2021 |
PersonalDiary: My type is the funny ones. My ambitions are the crazy type.
Well, I have always want to experience and explore the Lagos lifestyle due to my ambitions and business acumen.
I'm the techie type and highly business inclined.
I'm into some online business (E-commerce, &Freelancing) but since late last year, it has been rough. Some of my friends that had similar issue were able to resolve theirs or ventured into other businesses but I'm still running round the circle.
Of course, I strong believe environment plays a big path in human growth and development.
I live in the east at the moment, and my environment has been beneficial so far, but I think I needed to change to a more competitive and exposed environment to attain the next level.
Lagos has been on my mind due to recent advice from my mentor and few of my online friends all base in Lagos and doing well for themselves.
Now, NYSC was only hope of breaking into the Lagos atmosphere but my department hasn't been helping matters.
I'm still a semi-fresh graduate that wants to make way for my generation.
I graduated since 2019 had issue with my result which has been resolved but my department has been to lazy to post our results for approval and our chances of going for Batch C stream II is almost very slim.
The next batch is by next year possibly March or April.
And I don't think I can wait till then. My parents are no longer comfortable seeing me around even though I don't stay with them.
And yes, our relationship has been poor since then.
I don't really have much for rent, but if I can get a an affordable good place with good electricity and water I will survive and make way for myself.
I have tried making inquiries from few online friends and distant relations, their suggestions and ideas for choosing a good location in Lagos has been contradicting.
But then, I will make the move and strong I will break out.
My question would be, what's the cost for one bedroom selfcon and a location with good electricity and security.
Abeg make Una help me, I no fit sleep well for months now....I wan come Lagos
PS: Sorry for my long epistle. Mynd44, lalasticalala You don't have enough money for rent and you are looking for self contained, my brother just try and manage a single room for now. |

Lenny22: I am a final year student of a popular Federal University. I'm not rich, neither am I broke. Of course, my present financial strength is average. I have a nice physical appearance and I consider myself as good looking. I don't have the courage to approach girls that look exotic or sophisticated. By this, I'm talking about ladies with nice outfits, dope nails, expensive phones and wear expensive Perfumes. I wouldn't like embarrass myself, I just admire from afar but deep down, I want to date one. It happens to you because you are broke, you feel you can't stand there bills so what's the need approaching them, it happens to me also. But OP the truth is that those so called posh girls are very dull and unintelligent and have nothing to offer rather than sex. flee from them. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Special Appeal To All Employers Of Labour And HR by Saintinoo(m): 7:34pm On Oct 14, 2021 |
kingthreat: This is my special appeal to those who are employers of labour, and human resource officers in charge of recruiting staff in companies. Please give more employment priority to men of 28 years and older especially the married men.
After that, you can now give preference to single mothers, married females, the younger men and women.
I am saying this because as we speak, families are breaking up. Many men that are dependent on salary income have lost their roles in families.
They cannot foot the bills of providing food, paying rent, fees, etc and their families are being shattered. I got a call last night from a relative who has been unemployed since the covid19 but his lucky wife whose job was not affected is presently keeping late nights, starving him of sex and he cannot say nada because she is the one taking care of 80% of the bills.
Or is it my senior in secondary school presently in his 40s whose wife left him with their 2 daughters and is flirting with big boys in Abuja who gave her apartment and takes care of her bills?
Mind you, these men are not lazy. If given work, they are ready to put in 120% of time to feed their families but the employment system is frustrating them. They cannot keep submitting CVs to companies giving more priorities to women and the younger folk.
Save a family today. I rather marry a woman who will support me in providing for the family without letting the world know or I remain single forever. young men should mind the kind of women they follow. OP men to mind the kinds of women they marry, I think that will bring a better solution to this menace. |
