ive actually seen this happen in so many homes and it's the men that first start dousing the fire of love in marriage. They'll start by going to viewing centers or a friend's place to watch soccer, leaving the woman all alone at home. Before you know it, the gap is formed. The Interest in each other drops and you begin to see yourselves as siblings or biz partners.
It sucks.
You are yet to be married. Also, the likes of her comment.
Nigeriabiafra82: Air strike should be the last option That shows you that this people are weak If the UGM acquires anti aircraft missile then what will now happen
pepperdemzombie: All the ones wen you curse Sanwo, which one work? Wen goat reach wall, e go face who dey drive am. Ini Edo's estranged hubby did Knocking of door, Introduction and the big Igbo traditional marriage with another Igbo lady, barely a few months just before white wedding scheduled for abroad, he changed his mind and went to Ini Edo's family house to do the same thing. Two traditional weddings in same town within few months, Heaven no fall, nobody disrupted the wedding. He is an Igbo man likewise the two ladies involved. So, Davido's case is not new. Don't forget Chioma jilted her boyfriend too, he or someone uploaded their loved up when she gave birth, instead of consolations, Twitter and Nairaland broke shame the boy and abused him emotionally. It was up to 6 pages of insults on the boy on NL. So, this is pure Karma!
I'm a newbie here but, I'll like to drop this issue as it is getting me quite depressed lately.
I'm quite cute (average maybe) and I'm quite bashful as well. Whenever I go for an event, I developed this habit of frowning or squeezing my face to the dislike of the audience. On several occasions, I've seen guys pull over their car while trying to call my attention and I just snub or ignore them.
Even at a wedding party, most of the grooms men would want to approach me but, will back down really scared cause of my serious look.
I really don't know what to do as this is taking a toll on me.
Is there any possible way wherein I can practice to get my smiley face back or perhaps overcome this issue??
JusticeForKazah: A PHED marketing Staff by name Leo Edet working at the Itam Substation located at Mbak itam 3 has reportedly brutalised a customer by name Sunday Kazah who resides at Trinity Estate in Mbak Itam 3.
Legitimate information gotten reveals that on Thursday the 25th of March 2021, Leo Edet, the marketing Staff with the mbak itam 3 substation office went for electricity disconnection in the Mbak Itam axis and finally ended in Trinity estate where he ordered his boys to disconnect electricity cables for residents who hadn't paid their bills. During the process, the victims cable was disconnected. When the victim, Sunday Kazah noticed that electricity in his apartment had been terminated, he confronted the PHED staff with his Phed receipt showing that he had paid half of the estimated bill issued to him. The Marketer, Leo Edet confirmed in the affirmative that he had paid half the estimated bill, but that he would still go ahead with the disconnection because he was given a target by his superiors.
The only option he gave for power to be reconnected was for the victim to pay the full balance of the estimated bill. When the victim protested that he had paid half his bill and would pay the balance later, the Marketer then ordered for his men to leave. The victim then proceeded to tell the Marketer he was not comfortable with the decision and begged them to reconnect his light.
After much persuasion which was ignored, the victim in frustration held the ladder and asked for his light to be reconnected. Leo Edet then ordered his men to leave and started making calls. Trouble started when after 30 minutes, Leo Edet the Marketer resurfaced back with a PHED Hilux vehicle filled with cultists to Trinity Estate. When they saw the victim Sunday Kazah, they all jumped out of the moving Hilux vehicle and pounced on him hitting and clubbing him with dangerous weapons. At the end, the victim was left brutalised and wounded and his electricity cables were cut off and taken away. The victim later proceeded to their substation office to lay his complaint and he was told that he would be paid a visit by the Head Manager of the substation office Solomon Iheanacho. As of the time of this report, the victim is still nursing his wounds while the Head Manager and staff of PHED have left him to face his fate. We ask that justice be met for Sunday Kazah and the assailants and pepetrators of this ignoble act be brought to book.

Ashirioluwa: Go through the lady’s post through other thread then you will know she is a scammer. She’s lying. Someone gave her 30k so she can use it to buy sewing machine on January 23rd but less than 2 months she back with another story. He is a man not a girl as claimed.
This is what she posted after someone gave her 30k on January 23rd
husseinaaa: I met this guy 2018 in my Madam's tailoring shop while I was learning as an apprentice.
He usually comes around, he talks and jokes with everyone in the shop and we are all free with him after sometimes of showing good behaviours towards us.
To cut the story short, one day he asked for my phone number that he wants to be communicating with me, so I told him I don't have a phone I am not working yet, I am still learning and he smiled and promised to buy me a phone, which I told him if it's not just a gift he should not buy but if he wants to dash me for no reason like having intention of relationship or sex etc he should. Then he said he just meant to buy for me as a friend and I thank him.
So few days later he gave me 50,000 to buy myself a phone and I collected it and appreciated it.
So we communicate normally but just as a friend.
Last month he started asking me out, I told him am not ready for relationship because the kind of suffering and stress I pass through to survive totally made me lose interest for anything like that, he got angry and told me to send back his 50,000 to him or I should accept him. He is threatening me because he knows I cannot afford such money to pay him so I told him to give me time, I will refund it just to avoid problem but he said no time will be given that either I should give him my virginity or if I don't pay before next 7 days he will destroy my life, either by jazz or attack.
I just don't know what to do I need advice.
Give him the phone. Don't get entangled with the idiota.
You deserve a cane as well, why will you accept 50k from a man? Are you a thief? You knew such a gift had an undertone.

AlexReports: Just In Again: Governor Hope Uzodinma’s agents escorted by Police begin demolition of the Reach FM station belonging to Senator Rochas Okoroacha's Daughter. According to reports, the claims by the Imo state government is that the said property was built on an access road, when in reality it iss false, as the property was properly built on a close that leads to no where.
Reactions by Imolites and true nationalists have condemned the actions of Governor Hope Uzodinma and his baseless vendetta against Senator Rochas Okoroacha's Family, stressing that the said property, was not built on any access road, but was instead properly constructed on a close, without any interference with the access road as claimed by the Gov. Hope Uzodinma and his police team who had commenced demolition of the building few hours.
Recently, the Governor and his cohorts have continue to sponsor attacks and propaganda-driven allegations to frustrate the efforts of Senator Rochas Okoroacha and his sustainable leadership in Imo state.
Few days ago, Governor Rochas Okoroacha was attacked by thugs, which was allegedly sponsored by and aided by Governor Hope Uzodinma. This led to a protest from children and Beneficiaries of his humanitarian support Initiatives, calling on FG to interfere and ensure the safety of the Loire and property of Governor Rochas who they described as their father.
During OBJ's era there were lots of improvements in economy, lots of jobs (Tuesday and Thursday guardian was always filled with job adverts), there was less nepotism in ministerial appointments (young, intelligent and vibrant change makers were appointed), foreign exchange was quite stable ($1 = N130 for a long period), we emerged again in the pride of nations. OBJ challenged youths to be productive, he pointed youths to agriculture, businesses, etc. Despite all these goodies, we still had several military invasion of communities such as Choba, Odi, Plateau State, etc, the military raped women and girls with recklessness during these invasions, these military invasions helped quell the anomaly in these areas but the atrocities cannot be forgotten. Also, we had lots of ASUU strikes as well, despite all the concessions by the government, we are yet to have a proper solution in our universities till date. The most annoying is the distribution of guns to thugs during elections which ended up creating the militancy we have in the Niger Delta.
MB's era seems to have lots of drawbacks than improvements. The economy keeps shrinking daily, inflation is high, foreign exchange is very volatile (Aboki exchange $1 for N480, when I spend dollars on my naira bank card I get charged $1 for N450+; these are quite different from CBN rate of $1 = N380). On security, MB's era has failed woefully, there is kidnapping everywhere, terrorists (some branded as bandits - a soft name for terrible people) everywhere, yahoo boys are going more evil. MB branded Nigerian youths as "Lazy Youths" internationally, inasmuch as we have lazy people, that statement did a lot of negativity to our image and self-awareness. On politics, we now have Supreme Court Governors instead of Elected Governors in MB's era; it's quite annoying to see a lot of nepotism in MB's era, people mainly working for their pockets and close families well being.
On a funny note, Tinubu could criticize during OBJ's tenure, now we have not heard him criticize in MB's era.
I would we wish we had another OBJ's tenure but it's not possible due to our laws.

greymiles: Ijaws are spread out group of the igbos When igbos arrived west Africa from the genocides against Jews in the Middle East back then, one of the group moved further south to create the ijaw kingdom
Are Ijaws really Nigerians? Are they from Niger Delta?
I just read Ijaws are originally from Douala Cameroon. The Njọ (Ijaws) people of Douala migrated to Niger Delta during the Portuguese exploration of Africa.
I know you are Yoruba and you are using Google translate cool.
Ndị na-azụ, means the people that rears. Onye na-azụ, means the person that rears.
Atụrụ means sheep. Ehi means cow.
Onye nche/ndị nche means the security person/people; and this is a better translation for herdsman. Herdsman not only rear but they ensure the security of their animals - in Nigeria case since they go with AK-47, it's more appropriate.
