Well, N13,890 is Passport Transmission Fee
N460 is for SMS while N8060 is for courier
You really do not have to pay for courier if you are willing and available to go pick up your passport.
I paid for the first two only (N14,350). So once you get the SMS, you go pick up. By the way, try to go with the exact amount. If you meet an irate staff at the 'Bank', hmmmm, you will need the grace of God to stay calm, especially if you have waited for long.

I think another option will be to send a courier to pick it up from VFS once it comes back from Ghana. I know it will be cheaper cos a family of four will not spend up to 32k just to pick it using their own courier service . VFS is just too greedy, how can they charge per passport even when all the passports are on one package. No wonder they stopped DHL from sending to Ghana

Hi. I sent our passports on the 2nd of May and my CIC account changed to Approved on the 17th of May. Tracking my application thru vfs my status currently shows the passports are on its way back to Naija from Ghana. Hope this helps

Did you fill the IMM0008 and the additional Family information form? or you sent your passport without them?

1. It took me about 2 hours. However, I must warn you that the security personels are very ill informed and will attempt to turn you back once its 12pm, So you need to hold your ground that you are only submitting passports and not there for biometrics.

2. It is strictly cash payment. However, there is an atm in front of the premises with a very long queue. My advice withdraw your cash before going there.

3. Make 2 copies of bio data pages before going there. All the documents will be checked and transferred to another vfs envelope.

Hello,

From my experience at VFS, it has to be submitted physically but not necessarily by the applicants. Hence, you can mail all supporting documents to someone in Lagos or Abuja who will then go there and submit on your behalf.

If you choose to use a representative, then get on VFS website, print and fill out a consent form authorizing the person to submit and pick up for you.

It cost about N14,350 per applicant.

1. How long did it take you to finish with the process there? Is it something that takes the whole day?
2. Is it strictly cash payment? Are there bank ATMs around there to get cash?
3. Did they check the documents in the envelope or just collected it they way you have packaged it?

-Passport Photograph (2 copies each for every passport you're submitting with your application)
-VFS Consent form.
-Height and eyes color form (this was attached at the bottom of my ppr mail).

1) I was asked on the EE profile if I had applied to IRCC before and I clicked YES(this is because I had applied for visiting visa a few years ago with hubby but wasn't granted) but then it says if 'have I applied for EE before?.Nah there my confusion start.....

Brief history: under the old skilled worker of 100 points before EE, hubby applied and we got to the stage of medicals; it was passed and we were waiting for passport request and that was the time they started processing the Syrian refugees(from September 2018 to Feb 2016).When Accra picked up momentum again, we were eventually denied due to 'insufficient funds.
We didn't apply again since then....

Back to my question, am I supposed to click 'Yes' I have applied for express entry before or NO because it's asking me for UCI number which I'm not even sure I can find again(Kindly also note that I'm the principal applicant this time).

2)Hubby has a sibling in Canada.but I see there's no provision on the form for if the family you have there is yours or hubby's.should I just choose hubby family as mine on the form(I know that sounds ridiculous but I can't seem to find anything otherwise) and wait for ITA before I upload document like birth cert to show hubby family is the points We are claiming for relative?...Kindly epp me gurus in the house as I'm really confused as to how to go about it.

For no 2, don't fill that you have sibling in your own part of the form. The question will come up again in your hubby's part of the form and that is where it will apply.

I don't know if travel history is a problem. My opinion is that it may be. My opinion sha cos I believe that the background check that needs to be done from all the places one visits might contribute to delays. Be it for the PA or spouse. I found out my LVO from GCMS notes ordered via gcmsbuddy. Results came in 2 weeks. Everything looks fine, so it's just a waiting game now.

Secondly, I guess you are married and you may have done change of name, if yes, did you notice your name switching to your maiden name in some parts of your profile? I ask because some places where my spouse name appear on her application profile has changed to her maiden name. So she is now having some places bear her new name while some reverted to her maiden name. Though I still believe it shouldn't be a problem.

With the threat they made, one would have thought that US ships and military assets in the region would have been destroyed by Russia immediately after the attack but they would not do that because it would mean a declaration of war with the US. Why can't the police and army join a political party officially? It is better instead of allowing themselves to be used for political vendetta.
