Please guys, for those who used IQAS, is there any trick To Help make it faster? It seems some people get their report even before 10weeks after all documents are received.

My transcript got there on Nov 14 and I received the second mail a month ago after I contacted them. Should I contact them again? Will it help? I don't want to miss the next 2 draws at most.
PoliticsRe: "My Fulani Story"; Pastor Narrates His Experience With Herdsmen In His Farm.PICS by Saintp(m): 7:41am On Jan 22, 2018
I told some friends some weeks ago that in weeks to come that there would be massive pro Fulani articles from the south to change the narrative and it is already happening.
The southerners know how to do the dirty jobs for the Fulani just to be politically correct.

There is no need for this bullshit. The solution is simple, ban open grazing nationwide and let cattle rearers ranch their cattle in their state of origin. Since some said they are Libyan and Mali herdsmen, they can now be bundled back to Libya and Mali to graze their cows so that Nigerian farmers have peace.

A colleague not wanting to lose her parents had to bring them to Lagos from thier village in the middle belt. Her parents had to abandon their farms to relocate to Lagos because of fear. Tomorrow somebody will tell me we are making progress in Agriculture when many farmers are abandoning their farms because of Fulani herdsmen.

This is no big deal naa. A lot of people return home at some point naa. But then they should make sure they renounce thier citizenship of those countries so that they won't be able to go back again.

I know some of them that came back some years ago but have gone back permanently again after getting tired here. So this can only be news if they tear thier green cards never to go back else they are likely to run away from naija again. Make Dem no decieve us joor.

Just to say a big thank you to everyone that contributed to this forum. My family (Husband, wife and child) started this journey in September 2016, and the forum was very instrumental to our success.

To everyone that has just started or is planning to start, please don't waste your money on consultants. Read, Read and again read. All the information you need is here. Join the various whats app groups and in no time, you'll be an expert.

Lastly, to encourage people, see our timeline below

IELTS: September 2016
IQAS: September 2016
EE Profile Created: November 2016, with Husband as Principal Applicant and CRS 418
ITA: April 9th 2017 (5 months After)
Medicals: June 19th 2017
Application Submitted: July 9th 2017
Medicals Passed: July 21st, 2017

July to December 2017 : roughly 6 months (absolutely nothing happened. As in nothing. We just dey siddon look everyday)

January 4, 2018: ADR for POF (responded immediately) Changed to IP2
January 5, 2018: PPR (finally, just about 4 days to 6 months)

Passports delivered to Accra January 10th and approved, January 19th.
Awaiting pick up letter.

Been a long journey, but worth the wait.

If you're with the London visa office, i recommend you lift up your eyes to the hills, and just wait upon the Lord or whatever your faith trusts in (lol). Spend the time reading up on what you need to do post PPR, cos trust me, there is a lot to do if you want to land and integrate easily with minimal disruption to your livelihood and standard of living. Its not about your qualifications or anything but just basic stuff that make things like finding a job easier.

Will update when the pick up letter arrives.

FAQS:
1. We changed our passports during the process, i.e. different passports for EE and PR application. Wifey even changed her name from maiden to married. We explained in LOE and no issues.

2. I changed NOCS between EE and PR application (after ITA). Again, no issues, just explain with LOE and you should be fine.

3. We paid all Application and COPR fees upfront as recommended. (not compulsory though)

4. We uploaded all IQAS and IELTS (did not want stories that touch)

5. POF was savings account

6. We have had visa rejections before, so no issues there

7. We used our childs US passport. Visa will not be issued on approval but child will get COPR

Will update if i think of any other thing

Thanks and peace out
Congratulations.

Please what exactly is the ADR about POF for? what did the request?

PoliticsRe: FFK Blasts CNN For Reporting That Herdsmen Attack Is A Clash Over Piece Of Land by Saintp(m): 5:16pm On Jan 16, 2018
I don't really blame CNN, it may just be because they do not really understand what is on ground. The truth is that looking at it from an outside eye may look like it is just a mere clash. We know it is not just an ordinary clash because we live in Nigeria and understand what is going on.

ogbeniolola:
Politicians are the ones instigating crises in benue!....Ortom is desperate for second term bid, yet he has failed in his first term mandate. There is no road infrastructure to showcase in his first three years; he's still owing workers'salaries despite all the bailout funds; benue does not have functional transport system, it's okada & keke napep everywhere you go; recent WAEC results have shown benue as one of the worst performing, ortom is owing teachers; the state is poor in IGR generation, thank God for federal allocation; benue under ortom has done little for farmers in the state!.....Thanks to Audu Ogbeh who has helped the fortunes of yam farmers in the state!

Other than the anti-grazing non-sense, ortom should come out and state his contributions to benue farmers. Ortom started getting jittery the moment Audu Ogbeh began promoting yam export in benue. Thus in order to be seen to be working for farmers in the state, the state govt had to create an artificial conflict using anti-grazing laws and make herdsmen the fall guy.

Knowing that election is approaching, ortom had to introduce some divisive anti-grazing law to instigate crises between farmers and herdsmen who have coexisted for years o pretending to be contributing to the lot of the farmers! Some people were later armed to unleash terror on innocent people in their farmlands, and the non-performing govt was quick to rush to say it was herdsmen thus putting the whole state in mourning mood just so that the state govt could attract public sympathy and to distract benue people from asking questions on ortom's performance in this first term.

To tell you that the benue attack was premeditated and that ortom is being economical with the truth, listen to VP Osinbajo vehemently disputing that his office was forewarned about the attack by the benue govt; and anyone that knows the VP will know that Ortom has misfired this time and his lies have been taken too far and he should be investigated. As it stands, only the benue govt knew the attack would happen.

Ortom knows the killers of benue people!...Ask him!
So the interviews meyetti Allah leaders granted justifying the attacks, you didn't see it abi? So because ortom has failed to provide infrastructures and quality leadership in Benue, he should also fold his arms and do nothing while Fulani herdsmen kill his people and use thier farm for thier grazing fields abi?

You people can be so heartless ooo. Na waa ooo.

TravelRe: Nigeria Lady Delivers Message To Everyone Planning To Move To America1 by Saintp(m): 10:02am On Jan 16, 2018
Anyone who traveled to America with the intention of packing money and become a millionaire end up dissapointed cos there is no money to pack in America or other western nations.
However, others who traveled to America with the intention of living a quality life in a sane environment irrespective of how much money they have in their account are always not dissapointed.

At the end of the day, it depends on what you want. The problem with Nigerians and other third world countries is that all we ever want is money, more money, money and more money. We don't actually care about any other thing in life outside money and that is why the country is a mess today. So when we take this mindset to America, we see we can't make that kind of money even agberos make in Nigeria, disappointment set in.

Whenever you booking flights most especially Ethiopia airlines, from an agent going to Asia or middle east, make sure the airlines ( both Local and international ) partnering( code sharing) with Ethiopia airways can lift you, don't be carried away by cheap fare

Other airlines like Kenya airways, Rwanda also fall in this category
Please what do you mean by code sharing? I want to travel to Toronto, how can I get a cheaper flight?

Foreign AffairsRe: AU Reacts To Donald Trump's "Shithole Countries" Comment About Africa by Saintp(m): 3:33pm On Jan 13, 2018
What Trump said is the thinking in almost all western countries but the difference is that others will not say it openly just to be political correct. Remember the UK and fantastically corrupt statement.
Before I react to these kind of things, I first ask myself is it true or not? Unfortunately with sadness in my heart, it is true and I wish it was not. Except you are a kind of person who likes to hear obvious lies, this Trump statement is one of those unfortunate truths that shouldn't call for brouhaha.
Trump will not call European or Asian countries shithole, why? because some of these countries are better than America but you can't say that for any African country. Look at Nigeria for instance , the world's 4th most dangerous terrorist group are killing Nigerians from village to village, state to state yet the commander in chief and all his security apparatus are playing to the gallery. If Africa is not shithole why do African leaders leave their own countries hospitals for treatment in a white man's land?

We need to hear statements like this from time to time so that we understand how we are being viewed by others so that we get our acts together. But I bet you that African leaders don't care about proving Trump wrong by developing Africa to world standard because it will still be business as usual.

Thanks for your response. I'm faced with E the same problem cos I work in my family company managed by my uncle. It's not such a big business with HR dept and all. It's us the family members(same surnames) that are the main staff of the business.
It shouldn't be an issue. I don't think there is any law that says it is a crime to work in a family company and the person who issues you reference must not be related to you. What is most important is that the company exists and your role there can be verified.

What if your father is Dangote and the HR manager is your elder brother who is Dangote's first son, will it make your work experience in the company invalid? After all you have a degree, passed IELTS. If you ask me, I don't see any problem but let's wait on seniors in the house to put mouth on it.

The problems with Nigerians are bunch of educated illiterates who can't separate facts from fiction
and reality from myths. I always wonder why some people will defend evil simply because their man
is in power. The reality on ground is that killer herdsmen are killing indiscriminately and nothing is
being done about it. A sane response will be to condemn the attack and put pressure on the government.
But we have are people scraping old newspaper for evidence of who Miyeti Allah supports or oppose, to them
they have silent all discussions by showing that an organization once promised a certain candidate a phantom vote.
Talking about short memory, I did not remember any candidate getting 23 million votes in 2015.
By now you should know that some people in this forum only care about the image of PMB and not necessarily about the survival of the country and her people. This is why they show no empathy to all that is happening. As long as PMB's image is protected, their own people can even die sef but then this is acute stupidity and that is why you don't need to respond to some people here else you see yourself being dragged into their stupidity.

At the end of the day one thing is sure, if man made justice fails, natural justice will never fail no matter how long it takes.

If this is so, then I'm afraid it's going to be pretty difficult getting 430s cutoff this year. I think We need consecutive 3000+ invitations to bring down the cut off. I just hope they will increase the number of invites next draw.

Politics aside.

This is very bad.

Does this mean there are no security/military personnel in Benue to protect lives and properties?

Before somebody will say it is Buhari's fault, since all fishes eat human flesh, but it is the Shark(Buhari) that takes the blame.

Go back and do the counting.

Under the PDP Government, Benue State was attacked an unbelievable 33 times.

Until the APC 13 times.

But even one attack anywhere in Nigeria, is an attack too many, and that is why Buratai have to move some troops to Benue to protect the people there from these marauding herdsmen.

I am first a Nigerian before anything, and that is why I pray President Buhari should look into the Menace of these Herdsmen.
Bros, don't go there. Fulani attacks had also increased outside Benue since 2015. So while it looks like the number of Benue attacks decreased from 2015, other areas saw an increase in attacks from same period. Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba, Edo, Adamawa and even up to Enugu. So it is not just about Benue after all they were declared as terrorist group by US and EU before 2015.

However, since everything is about politics and tribalism in Nigeria and Buhari should no not be held accountable since it did not start from 2015, they can continue their killing spree. Maybe the next president will also say it did not start from his regime and the cycle continues.

It is not surprising at all. This is why there is mind blowing underdevelopment in this part of the world. Here, leaders are never under pressure to perform because whether good or bad, they would have a large support base cheering them even though those support base are suffering from the same poor leadership. So why would a leader bother himself over the suffering of the masses when the same masses accept it that way?
I'm just imagining that leader in a developed world who will have the mind to publicly show himself in situations like this and the citizens who are suffering would be cheering him. They do a lot for thier citizens yet they are still under pressure to do more.
Nigeria is a unique country.

You can conclude the fault is from the system when the system refuse to charge/power-on when the voltage from nepa is ok.
To be frank, I'm very confused. The same voltage was charging it few months back and no issues. Besides my other laptop get charged with the same voltage.
Another thing I should mention is that when the laptop is off, it charges with the low voltage, it is only when I switch it on and start using it, it will stop charging except when I'm on Gen.
