I don't see any reason for this brouhaha this election is generating. I would have been worried if IPOB say they are demonstrating on the election day or stopping INEC from conducting the election. What IPOB is saying is that they are going to boycott the election, so why is it generating a lot of heat?

This is a fight for "Soft power" and this is why the leaders and politicians are jittery especially if you consider the success of the sit at home order in the east.

Solving Nigeria's problem is not difficult only if the leaders will remove greed and self centered ness, sit down and discuss the way forward for this country in all honesty because they way NK is going, he seems to be winning the "soft power" battle which is critical in a democracy.

I'm looking at it because the cost and POF is easier for one person than when you add wife and 2 young kids. If the man succeed then he can bring his family to Canada through other means like family sponsorship. Does it make sense? Is there any chance of success.

You need to be present for it to be signed and stamped in most cases. However if that route is impossible for you to take you could go for the second option which is to call your bank and ask them to post your statement to your address. This type doesn't need to be stamped as they can tell it is genuine was and sent to your address since the format would be slightly different.

I have a close friend I have known for the past 15 years, he is liberal minded and never engage in any form of tribalism. However, in recent times, I found out his views are changing, the once liberal and open minded guy is now drifting towards tribalism, making tribalistic comments I never believed could come out from his mouth. Yes, I have a check engine light but it is not throwing up any new code apart from P0181and P0183 that has been there since a year I changed my fuel pump.

Hi Costee, when I switch of my car and remove the key, sometimes the ignition remain on and dashboard lights remain. Only the radio stops when it happens.

You are partly right. The reason why the US has not struck NK since the days of Bush is the retaliation NK will exact on SK and Japan. Seoul is within torpedo and artillery range of NK and in an event of an all out war, NK is capable of destroying Seoul even without nuclear weapons. If Seoul is destroyed then SK is finished. The highest NK can do to America if we assume that US anti ICBMs at Alaska, Guam and California does not work is to hit Alaska and if it happens, there wouldn't be anything like NK the following minutes.

There is what is called first, second, and third strike capabilities. Russia and the US are the only countries with that kind of capability and thus the only 2 countries capable of wiping out each other.
The US or Russia will likely survive a first and second strike from those countries you listed but those countries cannot survive a first strike retaliation from the US. So, technically those countries will not even survive the first strike and thus will not have the capability of overseeing a total destruction of the US. But this will come at a devastating loss to the US so nuclear war produces no real winners.

As it is now, U.S. has far more nuclear warheads than North Korea does (at least as we know from the media) but even if just 1 nuclear head was to hit the U.S., do you have an idea how much damage it would do/cause?

Russia remains the only country in the world that can wipe the entire US off the map. Every other country can hurt America badly but cannot destroy it. You see why I say Kim will not live to tell the story if a nuclear war head lands on America?

NK should focus on coming at par with SK in thier standard of living. If NK hits any state of the US, both Kim and his people will not live to tell the story so what is the point?
