But the manner at which these foriegn policy fighters go about it is ridiculous. I will understand if it is Russian citizens vs US citizens taking it personal. There are still some Russian citizens who hate putin and his policies while there are still some American citizens who hate Obama and his policies. it is even understandable if we argue over linda and whizkid, they are our own and affect us somehow. Foreign Affairs › Re: Panama Papers Updates Live Thread by Saintp(m): 12:58pm On Apr 05, 2016 |
Tkester2: My man, I honestly wish I can tune it down, but this guy missy89 is such an annoying bastard. I can't honestly figure out how a living being will willingly devout his life to lying and misrepresenting obvious facts.
Just take for example, the leaks today from that dubious so called panama leaks - This is a leak supposedly made by ICIJ (for whatever nonsense that means), the leak has nothing to do with Vladimir Putin, in fact even the so called Putin's associate is not even his direct friend, but, a friend of Putin's friend, and by the way only one person was mentioned that has something remotely directly to do with Putin, and this involves an amount a state governor in the poorest state in a remote country like Nigeria can pull together, just $1b and guess what? Putin's image is being used as a cover page for the panama leaks by the western media.
I ask you isn't that indicative of how low this western junks have sunken in recent years? all in a bid to pull down Putin. You see why I am mortally angry with these idiots who come only to rant nonsense especially that guy missy89. For over 10 years the west has been on top of their voices on how corrupt Putin is, yet in these years of noise making no single acct or asset has been traced to Putin, even the so called Panama report has nothing remotely to do with Putin. This is very Pathetic, and in this midst of all these nonsense, a black ass man, whose very own ass Putin is trying to save will come online to talk nonsense.
I tell you if I were to have a live discussion with any of these western trolls it will not end well between me and them. God damn it! Putin has achieved in Russia what no leader has been able to achieve throughout human history and I challenge you to prove me wrong.
Obama always jumps up and down reminding the US of how he reduced unemployment rate from 10% when he came in 2008 to 4.6% as we speak, and as surprising as that may sound that is all he has to show for the 8years that he was POTUS. Yet even with this achievement he doubled the US corporate debt. In fact, in dollar value he is the most indebted presidency in the US history. Contrasting his miniature achievements with Putin's, here is a man who handled Russia in a state of comatose, unemployment rate was at 48%, hear me, I said 48% in 2000, Russia's corporate debt was at 80%, one the most deadly statistics has it that Russia has a birth deficit of 3%. In fact at that time a joke was circulating in NY where Americans where mocking the Russians of how poor they were and Americans will tease the Russians that they could buy Moscow for $20.
Shockingly by 2007 Putin has brought down the level of unemployment rate in Russia from 48% to 6%, brought down the corporate debt from 78% to 13% (contrast that with Obama who increased the debt by over 50%), brought the birth rate in Russia to a surplus of 4% per annum. increased pension and salaries by over 250% and restarted Russia's role in the world.
In the midst of all these, do you know what western media have to say? shockingly, they said Putin is corrupt, and that he was able to do those because of the spike in energy prices. What NONSENSE! I ask the western media - during those years of 'oil hike' didn't Nigeria, Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc witness oil price hike? How come it is only Russia that gained such a tremendous overflow in citizenship welfare, guess what? - the media went dumb
Saudi Arabia has more OPEC quota contribution, yet in terms of GDP PPP Russia under '(corrupt)' Putin is in the 5th place according to world bank figures of 2013, all the way from 21st place in 1999. If according to the western junk media Russia gained such momentum under corrupt Putin because of the spike in energy how come Saudi Arabia is not in the 1st place or at least ahead of Russia in GDP PPP?
With all that Putin has achieved yet he is not arrogant with his achievements, he is still very cool headed, playing the game very smart, has an uttermost respect for GOD unlike Obumber who all he wants is for Africans to be piercing each others anus, something MISSY89 is an expert in. Putin brought back Christianity into Russia's consciousness, revived the spiritual atmosphere in Russia made the %age of church goers in Russia double that of those in the US, and in all these someone will have the effrontery to say that Putin is corrupt, Pathetic.
Not many people know that Putin is a Lawyer and has a Phd and yet some one who has barely finished his Bsc will come online to rant against Putin. Look at the marvelous work the guy did in Syria, and yet these sons of eve of western trolls will come online to rant nonsense.
My man I just want you to reason along with me and see the reason why I am so venomous when it comes to some fools here on nairaland notably Missy89. I am sorry if my abuses on him irritates you, but sometimes seeing his posts i can't help being abusive on him.

I think that Aso rock has the potential to make professionals look stoopid like their leader The problem is that we don't really have people who are principled and can stand up for what is right. what we have in govt are "yes" men. they are afraid to correct the president or offer contrary advice to the president. For example PMB: i want to visit Afghanistan next week Advicer: That is good sir, in fact it will show that we have influence PMB: Is it a good idea Adviser: Yes very good. Nigerians will appreciate it except the 5% who hate you. Just ignore them. This is why u see so much gaffes in the govt and you keep wondering where are the advisers. The same thing happened in GEJ regime and will keep happening because we don't have men who are ready to break ranks because of thier principles. they want to be on the good books of the president without knowing they are killing him. Hence his attending the summit....where he (according to the news) may present a paper on ''Peaceful uses of nuclear power''.
Additionally, nuclear power is the future.

I care less about Dasuki. whether it is witchunt, wizard hunt, vendetta etc, he is a thief and yes i know the courts have not found him guilty but we all know he is a thief. If he goes down, it is a win win for Nigeria at least the number of thieves is reduced by one.
But PMB should be careful. If the courts grants him bail, then so be it. PMB is introducing a dangerous tactics into the system. Tomorrow another govt will come in and use this tactics against thier enemies. For example, if i am president and i want to keep my enemy in detention for as long as i want, i will simply draw up 1000 charges against him and take him to court one by one. If the court strikes out the first charge, I'll bring another charge the following day and if they strike it again, I'll keep bringing another one. With this, i will keep him in custody as long as i want and i can keep saying i am not disobeying court orders.
We must strengthen our institutions else it will be abused. Yes, Dasuki is a thief and i do not have any sympathy for him but it could be an innocent man tomorrow and the govt of the day Will refer to this case. |

Always blaming the west and the white man since ages in time without looking inwards to look at the inbred problem themselves .
That's the sad part, you blame the west and at the same time 24/7 in their faces for a bail out, for loans, for technical expertise and knowledge for their education and to make things worse , you capital flight your own money to put in their economy.#Follisness raised to the highest bar.
Back to the economics of those shouting we need to export we need to grow Nigeria. Tell me if the parameters for export are set and ready, No power , No Water, No Basic Infrastructure and we want to be what China is now overnight.
We need to look inwards and check ourselves before we start to blame the white man
If there is no gap in the wall or a crevice will the Lizard be able to crawl in.
The same people shouting grow Nigeria wake up in the morning, jump into a German made car, wear Italian made shoe, Swiss made Rolex, drink exported champagne at will, west manufactured gadgets and appliances and now throw the silky gauntlet of grow Nigeria to the man on the street to run with .
What a crying shame a country that has crude and it's become a curse more than a blessing.
Was the West involved when we ran our refineries down over the years Abi you see Oyinbo for The infrastructure run down on purpose over the years .
2nd base please. Thank you. in fact, we should grateful to the west. We are the ones who will go thier schools, hospitals. They don't come to our schools n hospitals. We are they ones who will go and buy houses over there. Have you seen the whites coming to Abuja to buy houses? We are they ones who will go and put stolen money in thier banks but they don't have accounts in our banks. We are they ones who pay 18k as minimum wage when pure water is 20 naira, abi na white man fault? People like me will not have seen how possible it is to stay 1 year without the light blinking if it were not for the white man country. Did they tell us not to replicate it n Nigera? We should stop blaming the white man for our misfortune. This is a dog eat dog world. We should not expect fair play from anyone. This is where leadership comes in which is to fight for her people first even if it is at the expense of others. If China did not fight its way to the top on her own, they will still be at bottom today. Black Africans should be serious and take thier destiny in their own hands otherwise we will continue to be exploited because we don't have a say. It is only the Afican continent that does not have any signature product that has solved any world problem. We didn't build airplane, we didn't buid ship, we didn't build car even the high end equipment people like dangote will be using in his Nigerian companies is still a product thought and built by the white man. We will always be exploited because we are empty and exposed. For example, America + Europe put together cannot exploit Japan despite Japan being a small nation. This is because Japan can match anybody Technology for Technology and can stand on its own. The beggar has no choice. If we must overcome, then we as a people need to shun greed and build this nation. If we can get to a point where we can be independent, we may even become the ones to start exploiting them. |

There is nothing in Bayelsa that shows he is fit to be a counselor. I thought i would have been proven wrong but at the end, it turned out be one of the most foked up administration i have ever seen. PMB: What more can i say. In a sane country, someone like him shld not be seen in public for committing a crime against this country. If he had not ended democracy in the 80's, maybe there wouldn't have been Abacha, IBB, OBJ and GEJ. They don't want to pay TV bills either.
Come to UK / Ireland and you'll find out that your phone bill at the month end is subject to tax at round 27% and it is clearly differentiated for clarity
TV licence comes to 150 Euro annually for every household which has an electronic device (TV , PC etc) the penalty for non payment is 500 Euro and I've had to pay that fine before.
We pay water tax here at 100 annually for every home.
It's time Nigerians realise if we don't want to depend on oil forever we have to start a system of taxation. How many people pay their property tax in Nigeria You seem not to understand the situation. Nigerians having paying taxes before now but what have they gained from it? For example, Nigerians have been paying light bill for light they did not consume so why will they not want to pay SMS tax? They issue is that govt has been taking the citizens for a ride. If you give me 24hrs light like you have in Europe and tell me to pay whatever tax, in fact i will be tge first person to go and pay because I'm seeing the result. If i was govt, i will first of all earn the trust of citizens with the little i am getting before asking people to pay more. |
