PoliticsRe: Scorecard Of PMB’s 1st Year In Office by Saintp(m): 5:24pm On May 28, 2016
DropShot:
People like you are the worst set of human beings ever created by God. The reason being that you defend every step of the person you support even when they're wrong. And when anyone criticizes his own preferred choice so as to make them perform better, you also see them as looking for cheap applause from sycophants like you.

Fyi, this govt is our govt. I mean it's the govt of those of us who believe in its ability to perform. And we have the duty to voice out our concerns when we see the need to do so. Criticizing PMB doesn't translate to regretting supporting him to be president. Should we need to do the last election again, between him and GEJ, we will still give PMB the mandate.

Get a life.
Bros, are you feeling guilty because i can't remember quoting u or mentioning your name.

Maybe u think i am a GEJite, check my posts, i can never part of this your wailer and zombie madness so channel your rants to your rival wailers, i don't have your time.
PoliticsRe: Scorecard Of PMB’s 1st Year In Office by Saintp(m): 4:56pm On May 28, 2016
Some of you are now trying to form objectivity while you are part of why PMB is failing because you defend everyof policies.

Why didn't you people voice out initially, because things are not working, you want to form objectivity.

The greatest threat to PMB success is sychophants who would defend every of his wrong move but come back later to grade him low just to score cheap objective points.

That is why Nigeria remains backward. When u celebrate mediocrity, your standards becomes mediocre. Is there damn state in Nigeria worth celebrating? Certainly none except the organisers and people who find this interesting have not travelled out this country before.

The govenors should be told to go and transform thier states to world class standards not giving stupid awards.

I agree but I do not beleive that these people are trully seeking the interests of their people but their own pockets. To me they are a different form of Boko haram. Thungs who were armed during elections and who have now masquerading under a "cause"
Yes, they are not seeking the interest of thier that i know afterall, the Asaris, Tomplolos, Atekes of this world are now billionaires through this means.

These guys are just capitalizing on the enemy in Abuja to enrich themselves but true federalism will expose them because their will be no Abuja or Nigeria to hold responsible. When other regions start prospering without oil, then they will learn not to sabotage themselves. They prosper and the rest of Nigeria prosper, win win for everybody then we all have peace for the first time in our lives.
PoliticsRe: Ex-militants To Return For Pipeline Protection – FG by Saintp(m): 9:11am On May 27, 2016

clueless government. You have made yourselves slaves to militants, giving them more money to arm themselves and blow up pipelines in future in case you decide to terminate them.

A proper government would take them out, irrespective of cost to economy or human rights noise. What they are doing amounts to treason. There is a reason why you don't negotiate or acquiesce to terrorists....you embolden and empower them and ensure their continuity and that you are always a slave to them.
The government is clueless but your approach is wrong. Will you be happy eating a blood money? For every soul u kill because of oil in the ND, you have created a cycle of hate and violence that your children will inherit.
I am not from ND but i believe that regionalism or true federalism is the only lasting solution. I don't believe that some parts of this country can't make it on thier own.
I wish our leaders will shun greed and restructure this country instead of playing to the gallery since our existence and passing this bullshit to our unborn children. No matter who is president, this country in this present structure will never move forward.

But the militants want the oil wells back for proper bidding process, no more oil wells in the hands of people who confiscated the oil wells as war booties.

Militants say they want true and fiscal federalism restored to Nigeria., or at least, greater increase in the percentage for derivation.

Some of the militants even want Niger delta republic.

Some want release of President Buhari's political prisoners, Nnamdi Kanu and Ibrahim Dasuki.

So it's palliative giving mere contract to protect oil facilities.

With this short term solution, new militants must surely spring up tomorrow to ask for their own deal
PMB will be the best president nigeria will ever have if he leads this country into regionalism or true federalism. This is the only way to permanently stop this nonsense. This is what his supporters should be pushing him to do not defending him like lawyers that did not attend law school.

you see.... other tribes are not as myopic as igbos...tribalism is the reason igbo have produced no quality leaders in Nigeria, the world is a global village, when you cannot easily relate and accept others, you automatically lose out... all the shout about been segregated in Nigeria by igbos... what has it produced? nothing!

most of this tribalistic igbos does not even know their village, if not for the open minded nature of other tribes accepting them into their lands they wouldn't have amount to anything....

the earlier igbos wake up from their tribalistic snoring sleep... the better for them....
Someone who reads your post would think that this kind of thing can't happen in youruba families. Would you swear with your life that every yoruba family will accept an igbo inlaw?
You people should learn to treat each case on its merit instead of capitalizing on it to generalize. Have you heard all stories involving inter tribal marriage?
Okay, will you say yorubas are tribalist since some yoruba landlords will never rent thier house to an igbo person? My friend, there is no perfect tribe. get that into your head.

But not high enough for

1.Russia who need it at 99USD.

2.Saudi who need it at 77USD.

3.Nigeria who needs it at 123 USD.

Let's face it....even without bombs galore.....Nigeria is being failed by oil.

Time we spent what little money we have on power and transport so that we can become Africa and the world's workshop...and later its industrial power.

Oil...and other forms of resource dependency ......only cause more burdens than blessings. See....everyone is fighting over the money from oil. When oil prices crash again tomorrow thanks to the development of new oil fields.....where would we be?
You are the only one who always talk in this line and i wish others are seeing it that way. But the truth is that we can't really diversify in this present state except we go regionalism and resource control. This will enable enable everybody to think and work hard to earn money. What we should be championing is structural change of this country and other things will fall in line.

How will they respect us? Have u ever seen an American or european celeb galivant in Africa they way our own celebs do over there and flaunt it on social media? Your comment made me laugh

But really, it is not just Igbos....it is NIGERIANS as a whole.

Check out many abandoned projects across the country.....including in areas where the son or daughter of the soil was in high office....and they usually end up as a conduit for said child of the soil to loot....and yet...when the chap is prosecuted....people will cry...Witch hunt.

In Northern Nigeria, some two years after his death....Abacha stickers were to be seen on cars and buses....even today. The same Abacha that looted 4bn naira from Nigeria...which includes those people saying...He is the greatest.

That is the problem with Nigeria. We are our pwn worst enemy. Prosecute someone who is from our tribe...for corruption....with the added benefit...that if such prosecution is successful....we would actually have space for non-corrupt leaders.....yet we will cry witchhunt.

Like those Niger Delta Avengers. Pipeline they know how to blow up.....but common agitation for better schools, clean government, etc....dem no know. Abi if una get resource control....na the same corrupt leaders wey you dey hail go come chop everything go by tomorrow.!
You are the only one who made sense here. I don't know when Nigerians will dump this toga of tribalism and face issues as they are. Even educated people still succumb to tribalism. There will be nothing ever debated on this forum without tribal battles. na waa ooo.

BusinessRe: Naira Finally Devalued To N290/$ By Buhari by Saintp(m): 9:58am On May 14, 2016
NaijaTalkTown:
When Barrack Obomber vowed to pressurize Buhari into devaluing the Naira, how many people asked how he intended to pressurize the President? Well I guess Nigerians didn't ask why media outlets started attacking the president from all angles. The Fulani herdsmen were not actually herdsmen but terrorists trained and assisted by American government. In fact, some Nigeriens (not Nigerians) were caught in Agatu. They went to Agatu with helicopter to drop weapons and food items for the terrorists and they were caught by the Agatu people, tied up and killed. Their helicopter was burnt and the burnt helicopter is still in Agatu for confirmation purposes. The so-called Niger Delta Avengers are also trained and assisted by the US. If Buhari bows to these people, then I'll be disappointed in him. I am dissatisfied with the Nigerian Armed Forces and the DSS. The DSS has shown that it lacks the ability to gather good intelligence and nail internal threats right from their roots. If I were Mr. Buhari, I would have silently silenced a lot of people. I would also divert a lot of money meant for other projects into upgrading the DSS and the Armed Forces. I know all these are easier said than done especially in democracy but Nigeria's situation requires some iron fists.

The government never used the term deregulate. The fact is they have not deregulated. You cannot peg prices to a ceiling and say the market is deregulated. What if my costs exceed 145 naira. What if I decide I want to cater for cars that require premium high octane fuel which costs more. You then tell me I cannot sell more than 145 naira. Lastly, you do not increase prices when the product is still unavailable!!! You just put more money in the pockets of the black marketers.
Exactly what i was thinking. How can there be deregulation and the govt is still fixing prices? i don't just understand. Please anyone who understands should clarify.

The difference is that during that time, people can start forming queues from 12 midnight at NNPC to buy at N86 after spending 8 hours. You can call that "tough relief" but now even if you queue from yesterday at NNPC, it is now N145. Trust me, if NNPC sells at that price, other marketers will never sell less than N180. Do you get it?

I want to see Telecom coys, NCC, NNPC, PHCN, NIMET, Innoson vehicles, Ajaokuta Steel Company, Dangote Group....fall back to our tertiary institutions for research and development (R & D) projects.

I want to see Banks and other establishments run to various convocations just to select/employ the best graduates, like it used to be.

Yesterday's crises made me aware of two things.
1. Most Igbos cannot differentiate between Hausa and Fulani people.
2. Most Igbos resident in Igbo land have the eroneous belief that all of us in the 19 "northern states" are "awusa" people whereas these peeps constitute less than 30% of our entire population.
3. To help u guys, there are no Hausas in the 6 north central states + Abuja.
4. You can also almost conveniently assume that the 6 north-eastern states (Taraba, Adamawa, Borno, Bauchi, Yobe, and Gombe have no indegenous "Awusa" people.
5. They are also minority ethnic groups in the Northwest e.g Kaduna, Kebbi, Jigawa.
We only speak Hausa language in general. Abeg before una go kill all of us make una know una enemies.
You are right. That is how the northerners assume non hausas are igbos when there own madness starts. When crisis starts in the north, igbos, yorubas, south south and others get killed because no time to different. In mile 12, some igbos were victims despite not being the target cos of this reason.
this is why i get worried about this cos it could concern you even when you think you are safe. War will always be a lose lose for everyone

PoliticsRe: No One Can Stop Us From Grazing In The South — Fulani Herdsmen by Saintp(m): 11:37am On May 01, 2016
omenka:
@Noethnicity: Dude I understand your points perfectly but I think there is a dark side of this whole stuff which the public isn't yet aware of.

I am half Middle Belt and half South South and insist there are some elements trying desperately to derail this government, leveraging on the Fulani attacks to achieve that goal simply because:

1. They are terrified if measures are not taken and the government sustains it's anticorruption drive, it would be just a matter of time before they get caught up in the dragnet.

2. Some people had put all their eggs in one basket and lost them woefully with the outcome of the election. They feel the best way to have at least a foot in the corridor of power is to create such massive chaos the government would have no choice but to invite them to dinner.

3. Some people are simply ethnoreligious bigots and sadists and can't live with the fact that a Fulani Muslim is ruling them against all odds.

Now, are these attacks new? The answer is NO.

Are they just becoming more prevalent in the South (as you said) under the current govt? The answer is also NO.

Are all herdsmen killers? NO.

Are some herdsmen killers?? Absolutely.

Are all herdsmen Fulanis? NO!!

Now, have you wondered why in all these melee one word that has been featuring prominently is "Fulani Herdsmen". The video allegedly showing some armed men crossing a river in Benue state featured NO cow, yet people tagged them "Fulani herdsmen"!! Don't you wonder why?? How can you be sure some people didn't commission some idi¤ts to carry out these attacks??

Lastly ask yourself this: why is it so damn difficult for some people to imagine for a split second Southerners are themselves responsible for these just to taint the president when they insisted in the preceding admin that Northerners are the ones sponsoring the killings of their own brothers just to taint Jonathan??

There are soooo many things I'd like to say about this, perhaps on a dedicated thread but I've yet to find the strength in my fingers. I think there are things we don't know yet.
During GEJ tenure, he supporters were always talking of his enemies making the country ungovernable for him. Instead of him to man up and perform, he was seeing enemies and haters.
You guys are now doing the same thing. Instead u guys to critical and ruthless on performance, you guys are looking for region or haters who don't like him him to succeed.
Listen, there is no where in the world where any leader is uniamously loved in a democracy. There must be haters. Go to American foums. In fact, a leader will likely perform less if he is well loved.
So whether some region or people hate him or wants him to fail, it shouldn't be our business. what we want is clear results. so the earlier you supportes push for good governance, the better instead of always looking for enemies and haters else he will fail like his friend GEJ.
