Do we need more universities or should we fund and strengthen the already existing ones? Besides what's the use churning out graduates without jobs for them to fill? |
This is so appalling! The blatant disregard of human rights in the military and country at large is becoming a major source of concern. In the US a 4- star general was dismissed for slapping a private. When would we ever get to that level? It is saddening to note that the dispute/complaint resolution mechanism in the military has failed the rank and file. Ordinarily, this rating has violated standing rules by breaking the chain of command and reporting to civil authority, but would you blame him? He followed due process to no avail. Unless the plight of our soldiers is addressed, we may find ourselves staring at a budding mutiny or revolution. |
McBrooklyn:Guy I respect you die. A cold mean Bleep keeping it real. Tuale Baba. |
Apart from the fact that all the EFCC chairmen are northern Muslims, another troubling fact is the institution that produces the Chairmen - NPF, the Police is highly steeped in corruption. Apart from the now defunct PHCN the former ranked among the most corrupt institution in the country. Ironically, the Agency charged with prosecuting anti - corruption crusade is the police! I think it's high time the FG source for credible individuals with integrity outside the force, why not get someone with track record in fighting graft from the intelligentsia, private sector eg the Banks or even from the Justice ministry? |
The worst decision I ever made in life was going to BSU. If I had known I would have endured and graduated from UNN. While In BSU I suffered the worst kind of tribalism one can ever face, had little or no social life and burnt the mid nite candles to no avail. Was roundly failed by most lecturers who were not of the same tribe as myself. The high point was when I entered a lecturer's office for course registration, incidentally he was my Cartography lecturer. Mr Ortsegha, he told me matter of factly, that " You would not graduate" 3 times n I said sir I would graduate. The MF gave me a resounding F in his course. But today I thank God I graduated n working in a reputable establishment. But if you'd ask me, my biggest regret was abandoning my degree program at UNN and opting for BSU. |
900winer:enter where? Is it not in Omala that they killed Igala people like Chickens? |
I am just praying for the day Nigerians would galvanize and give the Fulanis the CAR - Central Africa Republic treatment. Let them collectively enter the bushes and kill any Fulani in sight. This is too much! Are they the only ones with monopoly of violence? The sooner we do these the better. #itseitherthemorus. |
So Moguno, na Almunus of kings college? Thought he was an ex boy. He used to be a very brutal officer during his days as adjutant at NDA. Omo if u buy his job, ur name na sorry |
What happened to that old woman who used jazz in conjunction with hunters to wipe out the bandits in a community in the same Niger State? Her services are needed once more. |
alezzy13:Are you aware the the NCDC Boss, Dr Chikwe declared she tested negative twice On live TV? Besides is she has stayed 39 days without symptoms, why keep her? |

Very true, I can confirm the veracity of this story. My Cousin in Manilla told me she was given some items by their government. |
MelesZenawi:And your Hausa - Fulani brothers that occupied similar post, what results did they produce? Is it any different from what we have on ground now? |

The authorities need to do something about these SARS officers, they've turned the force into an extortionist racket. Stealing from innocent citizens. Just last week a colleague was picked up at Berger - Abuja around 8-9pm and taken to their station, he told them he was going to work and even showed them his Office ID (That was when the trouble started) The officers said he works in a prestigious organization and therefore has a lot of money. They refused to budge after several entreaties fell on deaf ears. He had to call his sister who had to involve Airforce officers before he could be released. It is situations like this that one curses the day he became a Nigerian. To be honest, I usually feel very happy when any SARS officer dies in the line of duty, I don't pity them one bit, infact, I refused to rent out my property to a man when I discovered he was a policeman. Very wicked and heartless set of people. |
infofta:Wetin happen to the man and his family? |
That's why I don't like Lagos, even if you give me a job in Lagos that pays 200k every mth I no go accept, I'll only enter Lag when the light rail line is completed. I can't come n kill myself. |
Trigalee:Oyinne, are you not aware that a woman was raped to coma by the same vermins in Ogbadibo? Ortom turned a blame eye on the Idomas and told us to go and meet our senator ( D Mark) when the Agatus were being killed. When they started killing Tiv people his eye opened. Thank God we armed ourselves, I heard there's no single Fulani in Agatu n Apa. Let the Tiv elites arm their youth in order to deal with the menace |
tsephanyah:Does the "grass" include people's crops and other plants? A farmer would suffer, collect loans at exorbitant rates plant his crops, only for your insensitive and wicked Fulani kinsmen to drive their flocks in the poor man's farm and devour everything! Make Nonsense of a year's labour. A day of reckoning is coming and they'll soon get what's coming. What happened In Central Africa Republic (CAR) and Rwanda would be a child's play. Buhari would not rule forever. |
Yampotatocarrot:I pray we get to that point, where their excesses would be too much and people would start killing them randomly and on sight. Or a good hacker should hack into SARS data base and leak out the personal info ( including numbers and address) of all SARS members publicly, and let the purge start from there. |
talktrue1:No be lie you talk sha, it would have very commendable if it extended beyond mammy, past that deep gully and terminated at Aso C. At least let's thank God for the little he has done, to build road no be beans. |
[quote author=kaylardz post=86497660]osinbajo should have been the one representing Nigeria here to avoid embarrassment.... well I heard that gov Ayade was among the entourage[/quote PYO is useful when it comes to burials, Condolence visits or sharing money to market women, That's what a whole Professor has been reduced to! He sits comfortably ( or docilely) while his principal violates our laws and constitution and a supposed Professor of Law can't advise him! In saner climes he ought to have resigned under this kind of ridicule. |
I still remember my first encounter with Moguno during his days as Adjutant at NDA back in 2000, then he was a Lt- Col. A very mean moving officer. The first time I saw him we (then candidates of 52 RC Armed forces selection board) were all assembled at the drill shed making noise and exchanging banters. The minute he stepped in you could almost hear a pin drop. He had that kind of presence. Also saw him "massaging" senior cadets ( heads pinned down) with his swagger stick at the parade ground. He was one nigga you didn't mess with. |
But even if na Catapult the bandits get, you mean them no kill one single cop? Chai! But some people no de fear God oh! |
