PoliticsRe: If Am The Nigerian President: by samparian(m): 2:47am On Jul 16, 2009
i wouldnt want the job, believe me Nigeria is very complex. Have you ever headed a town or student union? You must be highly pricipled and mean to survive

But if i must, then:
i wouldnt grant any amnesty to anybody
I'd try and develope all sectors of the economy simultanously starting first with electricity
Rid Nigeria of numerous political parties and create only 2
Arrest and prosecute every past leader
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 2:35am On Jul 16, 2009
Its difficult for most businessmen to get visa now to china because there is too much rush. I wonder why?
why are broke assed people without shops/businesses and capital in Nigeria running to China where there are no jobs, no visa extentions for Nigerians?
For a businessman, China is a very important place to visit or reside
But for husstlers, ITS A NO GO AREA
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 1:41am On Jul 16, 2009
this is serious. heard our Ambassador had to come from Beijing to settle the issue. The police couldnt do much because attacking the Nigerians will be insult to injury and would create an International incident

PoliticsRe: Falana Slams Obama Over Speech In Ghana. by samparian(m): 4:27pm On Jul 15, 2009
Falana has been given some Ghana must go bags
why should we continue to blame colonialism for our troubles?
South Africa had aparthied, but look where they are today!
Ghana also had colonial masters, but they have sanitized their place and have had the freest election ever and have transfered power peacefully from the ruling party.

Falana's comments are just diversions from the real truth.
can anyone here imagine PDP handing over the presidency to AC, APGA, FRESH or any political partyhuh
Obama wants us to sanitize our democracy and allow we the masses to choose our leaders NOT some cabal forcing obj and yar'adull on us. we all know PDP never won the presidency.

Kobojunkie:
Our dear brothers here mostly want to make it OVERNIGHT. If you tell them that they may have to have a five year plan, that is akin to you telling them they will never make it.
As true as daylight. i totally agree with you.

Kobojunkie:
Now, this is one thing I love about living abroad. If you want to change your life, the tools are there and the opportunities are there, regardless of your past miseries. You just need to focus, plan and look forward to having the best life.
And that is why we storm the west and east with hopes and aspirations for better things
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 2:52pm On Jul 15, 2009
@kobojunkie
thats where our high school guidance councilor comes into play.
for the educated ones
i hear many guys miserable abroad are high school drop outs. and from what i know about Nigerians residing in China, 50% are stark illitrates,30% are drop outs, and 20% are graduates.
the truth is that you dont need a certificate to succeed in life. abi?
PoliticsRe: Is He Aging Or Stressed? by samparian(m): 2:44pm On Jul 15, 2009

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Changes Defence Minister After Mend Attacked Lagos by samparian(m): 2:25pm On Jul 15, 2009
The minister for defence should have resigned outrightly. yeye man
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 2:21pm On Jul 15, 2009
But, seriously we need to educate our people and tell them that leaving 9ja is not the best option
unless you're travelling to further your studies, or on a business trip, nigeria is a nice country, honestly.
Many people are making it in Nigeria and all we need is enlightenment
and basic amenities.
our governent should provide electricity first and things will start taking shape.
cos, once there's electricity, industries and companies will spring up, they'll create more jobs and Nigeria will be back on track
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 2:16pm On Jul 15, 2009
That was a joke, but it seems that's what the policeman is telling you guys? abi?

PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 2:06pm On Jul 15, 2009
some folks act that way abroad cos they know the cops over there wont be stupid enough to shoot them and turn it into an international incident.
if na for 9ja, MOPOL no go waste time begin dey bulala people with koboko or shoot at them. Shit happens
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 1:59pm On Jul 15, 2009
dude, i dont blame them cos travel agents are very cunning. one of my friends had a nice boutique in 9ja and closed it down to travel to europe. ol' boy, the guy dey shout and says that the only way to be able to return to 9ja sharp sharp with cash is to do illegal things and he refused to do that. He couldnt just go back because he had nothing to go back to and he spent over 1 million naira to make that trip.
He has been there for 5 years now and says he'll soon be able to save upto 1 million naira. AFTER 5 YEARShuh??

PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 12:56pm On Jul 15, 2009

PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 10:27am On Jul 15, 2009
@blacksta
in 2000, i imported some very high standard goods from Hong Kong into Nigeria and i lost a lot of my capital because Nigerians refused to buy them, saying they were expensive.
I urged them to check the quality and they did and still told me my goods were expensive and they went and bought the cheap sub standard ones.
i almost went bankrupt. i had to sell an empty plot of land to raise money for business again.

Nigerians are getting what they ask for.
A real Roca wear jeans costs $120au. how many Nigerians can afford to buy thathuhhuh
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 10:08am On Jul 15, 2009

You dont even know what you're talikn about.
60% of China's export goes to USA and Europe.
Go to China and see europeans loading containers. have you ever been to China?

I just wonder what the attraction is for Nigerians in China.
so you dont know that almost all those London suits guys brag about are made in china for UK companies??
American clothes are made in China. The designers have factories in China.
Nokia has a gigantic plant in China
Almost everything you use in your home is made in China. forget what you were told in Alaba or the label on it.
your clothes, electronics, car cd and spare parts, floor tiles, toilet seat, upholstry, curtains, condoms, cosmetics, etc , the list is endless

thanks for the heads up. the last time i checked out those places was in 2006.

@ poster
like i said before, its better you stay in Nigeria. Pray and ask God for guidance and favour in whatever business you're doing and God will bless you beyond your wildest imaginations.
Believe me, you dont need to travel abroad to succeed in life.
many guys in Nigeria are doing better than those abroad
Most guys abroad just come home and pose with cars and then sell them and run back abroad.
i know some guys who spent large chunks of money and travelled and right now, they dont have 1,000euros to their name.
who no travel, no know. grin
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Nigerians Rioting In China by samparian(m): 9:26am On Jul 15, 2009

Thats when I disagree, the fact is Angola is the fastest growing economy in africa(6th in the world) and at the rate they're going, they will take over South Africa By 2035.
Angola is Africa's potential Giant and South Africa is Africa's current Giant, end of topic.
we are talking of the present, not the future. a lot can happen within 26 years.
please stay focused. grin
