And beside not everybody are bound to start out and succeed in a particular business venture. There will surely be successes and failures. But the success and failure rate will most often not be equal

Tech is the new oil but some software engineers are still struggling to survive. But that doesn't change the fact that tech is lucrative.

I'm not the only one that have said transport is lucrative. People have said it before me and more will still continue to say it. And you can't tell me we are all deluded.

If transport didn't work for you, it just didn't work for you. God and maybe only you knows why it didn't work for you. But that doesn't change the fact that transport business is quite lucrative

Don't mind these stereotypes people are peddling. A keke driver doesn't earn shyt. A danfo driver doesn't earn zilch, an uber driver doesn't earn nothing. You just toil and toil and whatever you make goes into repairs and maintenance. I have driven uber before, my own car, sharp tokunbo. I did it diligently for 2years. I realised it was a fruitless job. The app companies just use you as slave labour, people in the larger society think you're making mad money all because of a stereotype someone said a long time ago when it newly came out. Till date, ignorant people still argue with me ontop something I personally had experience on. The sooner we realise transportation isn't one gold mine, the better for everyone cos it is making people mentally lazy, any small thing, people will go and get corolla to be doing uber, keke or okada to be driving.
Actual productivity, brain work, tangible skills are superior to these driving jobs

Few months ago, I and my boss booked Uber after closure from work. On our way home, we were gisting with the uber guy. He told us he started driving uber on an hire purchase in 2016. 6 years later, in 2022 he already has 5 cars which he gave to other people to run uber.

He said he plan on getting a new car by August this year. He also said he plan on retiring from driving by the time he gets to 50 and having about 20 cars, from his looks, he look like he's in his early 40's

I know there's this stereotype of uber and taxify guys making it big, I don't know if it's true, I've never driven uber before, so I can't give you a firsthand experience.

But I know I've seen a couple of guys that have failed woefully as uber and taxify drivers, but one thing that stood out from this uber guy's success is his focus and hard work. Even the car we entered that day looked like one that was bought the previous week, meanwhile it's more than a year plus.

The truth is that transport guys whether keke, danfor or uber/taxify generally have the potential of making it bigger than the average 9-5 white collar graduates in Nigeria.

Money dey transport business . Just that a lot of these drivers lack vision for their business coupled with their wasteful lifestyle.

So a typical complete Udemy course would be several GB big. I’ve downloaded ones 80gb big. These files are broken into smaller files using zip so that you can download them in several small pieces and assemble all the small pieces into one big file by unzipping at your end. When I downloaded Maximilian Schwarzmuller tutorial video, the file was zipped. I had to download 7-zip to unzip the file before it could work. Is there any way I can download tutorial videos there that aren't zipped?

It's needed everywhere. I am currently interviewing with a crypto company for the role of a WordPress developer. The first stage was a codility quiz with a leetcode hard question. I have a technical whiteboard interview next week. During the initial interview they were asking me if I knew how to do elementor and all of that and I me I thought it will be an easy interview but here I am. You cant escape dsa based interviews except you don't want to earn well as a programmer. If you are okay with small companies that don't pay well then you are okay not learning dsa but to eat the big bucks I don't see how you can do it without dsa except you start your own company.

Though I didn't plan running away from DSA, just wanted to suspend it for now. When I've gotten the necessary skills and start earning few bucks, I'll pick it up. But seems like I'll have to integrate DSA in my learning journey with the aim of becoming a salesforce developer.

The truth I wanted running away from frontend to Salesforce cause I hated DSA and I absolutely didn't wanna study or do any leetcode cause it was too difficult but after I got my Salesforce certifications, all the jobs I was applying to were asking me DSA and sending me DSA tests. Only one company sent me a take home test and the salary was lower than the job I had already. Omho niching down or not niching down better to know DSA except you are satisfied working a lowly paid job.

Combining frontend, salesforce and DSA is gonna be hell of work for me

But is it possible to start out solely as a salesforce developer(without going through the HTML,CSS,JS route) also learning DSA along side if salesforce development is the goal.

I was having a convo with a mentor kind of who's working as a SWE abroad. She also did recommend platform development, though she's a salesforce developer. I was checking out salesforce admin and developer job roles and they seemed nice, then I remembered your advice on platform development.

Just want to know your view on salesforce development. Do you still recommend niching down to a platform whilst learning to code. I'm thinking of dropping DSA for now. Whilst learning the front end Dev technologies, I plan on familiarizing myself with salesforce administration and development and taking their certification exams subsequently

I have two parents , I didn't get to see both of them growing up coz I was confined in a boarding school since primary 2 , I still have a better relationship with my dad but I was severely rejected by my mom and everything OP posted still applies to me , I used to think I was the problem until I realized she felt the same way I felt for her parents , she hated them coz she was mistreated but she was equally a beast to us , she didn't get healing and now I had to inherit that ,

She's my biggest motivation in life because in trying to prove her wrong I became her opposite but I've not been able to relax and enter my feminine side , I'm always protective , trying to do everything on my own , I also attach to other people's moms , I'm that friend you don't want to have because of comparism , it hurts alot because in reality I know I'll never be a part of that family , in fact it caused fight between me and my friend , I was always taking her mom's side

It's not a matter of dwelling on the past , it's the conditioning of your brain , you may not notice but most of our choices are made subconsciously , half the time we don't realize we're in a pattern , that's why kids from divorced homes are more likely to get divorced and kids from abusive relationships are more likely to be abusive or abuse tolerating adults

The most stubborn boy in my Sunday school class was an abused child of my neighbor , she had gotten pregnant twice without a husband and she treated them like shit and the girl is exposed , using adult language , the boy picks a fight with everything and everyone , he should be 6 or 7 , both of them are likely to grow up with internal issues

I'm educated and I do realize that somethings were not my fault , I am currently battling severe anxiety and depression , I have insomnia because I have bad dreams alot I sleep better with noise of people moving around during the day , sleeping at night is war , I finished my sleeping pills and my sleep cycle is messed up , I've had at least 3 panic attacks between February and now, it doesn't feel good , I also have random outbursts for the silliest reasons , you can ask my exes , only one person knew me and understood me , the others just felt like I was either childish or crazy

A lot actually. The koko isnt meeting the criteria its passing the interviews. Depending on IQ it can take anywhere from 6 months to 2 years of studying consistently to be able to pass and one thing with regards to software field. People with 0 to 3 years of experience are all in the same group.
