tensazangetsu20: Hey big chief, I'm trying to incorporate DSA into my self taught learning journey, but it just seems like one need to have a sound knowledge of coding before one can hop into DSA. I know you mentioned an Indian friend of yours who learned DSA before moving on to programming, and like what you and some other tech folks have said here, it's possible to learn DSA without having to go very deep in programming. So, what course or learning platform would you suggest I start with if I want to start learning DSA. A whole lot of DSA courses talks about DSA with python, JS, C++,Java and the likes. I don't any core programming knowledge yet, but would like to start learning DSA early enough. So, your input on how best I should start will be appreciated, I will be able to navigate the rest once I begin. |

Breakfast na national cake, e go reach everybody After all the ranting, you still have the mind to give us a piece of advice. Who are you advising I swear on buhari's left balls, you'll still accept the girl if she comes back crying and kneeling down... you still love her na Always have this at the back of your mind; nobody is indispensable... I repeat nobody is indispensable Your family are the ones who love you the most. But if by peradventure they fvck up, you'll see non-biological persons who will fill up and play the role of family. Now talk of someone that not your blood relative. If you think he or she is heaven on earth, there are people who are paradise in heaven. So why chose to have a miserable and unhappy life because of love Let's say someone is one in a million, we're more than 1 billion people on earth. So that means, there are about 1000 people like them out there. Have this mindset, and you'll never have to worry yourself about these love related wahalas that trouble a whole lot of folks. Love should be a two way traffic. If it's coming just from one person, pack your load and leave jejely. E no too hard 3 Likes |

wonder233: Oga you're the deluded one here. Go back and read the 4th paragraph of my comment again. You might have failed when you tried the transport sector, but that doesn't change the fact that transport is a lucrative enterprise. And beside not everybody are bound to start out and succeed in a particular business venture. There will surely be successes and failures. But the success and failure rate will most often not be equal Tech is the new oil but some software engineers are still struggling to survive. But that doesn't change the fact that tech is lucrative. I'm not the only one that have said transport is lucrative. People have said it before me and more will still continue to say it. And you can't tell me we are all deluded. If transport didn't work for you, it just didn't work for you. God and maybe only you knows why it didn't work for you. But that doesn't change the fact that transport business is quite lucrative 1 Like |

wonder233: Talk about yourself alone. Few months ago, I and my boss booked Uber after closure from work. On our way home, we were gisting with the uber guy. He told us he started driving uber on an hire purchase in 2016. 6 years later, in 2022 he already has 5 cars which he gave to other people to run uber. He said he plan on getting a new car by August this year. He also said he plan on retiring from driving by the time he gets to 50 and having about 20 cars, from his looks, he look like he's in his early 40's I know there's this stereotype of uber and taxify guys making it big, I don't know if it's true, I've never driven uber before, so I can't give you a firsthand experience. But I know I've seen a couple of guys that have failed woefully as uber and taxify drivers, but one thing that stood out from this uber guy's success is his focus and hard work. Even the car we entered that day looked like one that was bought the previous week, meanwhile it's more than a year plus. The truth is that transport guys whether keke, danfor or uber/taxify generally have the potential of making it bigger than the average 9-5 white collar graduates in Nigeria. Money dey transport business . Just that a lot of these drivers lack vision for their business coupled with their wasteful lifestyle. 6 Likes |

tensazangetsu20: Though I didn't plan running away from DSA, just wanted to suspend it for now. When I've gotten the necessary skills and start earning few bucks, I'll pick it up. But seems like I'll have to integrate DSA in my learning journey with the aim of becoming a salesforce developer. Thanks chief. |

tensazangetsu20: Oh! you even have salesforce certifications? I never knew DSA was quite relevant and needed in salesforce development. Combining frontend, salesforce and DSA is gonna be hell of work for me But is it possible to start out solely as a salesforce developer(without going through the HTML,CSS,JS route) also learning DSA along side if salesforce development is the goal. I Didn't know DSA were quite applicable in salesforce |

tensazangetsu20: Hey tensa I know you once recommended newbie going through the platform development route, but these days you're a die hard fan of leetcode I was having a convo with a mentor kind of who's working as a SWE abroad. She also did recommend platform development, though she's a salesforce developer. I was checking out salesforce admin and developer job roles and they seemed nice, then I remembered your advice on platform development. Just want to know your view on salesforce development. Do you still recommend niching down to a platform whilst learning to code. I'm thinking of dropping DSA for now. Whilst learning the front end Dev technologies, I plan on familiarizing myself with salesforce administration and development and taking their certification exams subsequently Then possibly becoming a salesforce developer in 9 months or so. If I'm fortunate to get a job afterwards, I'll start grinding DSA whilst working. How do you view this career roadmap? Is it a good one? @airsaylongcome |

But we have Innoson na You mentioned Tesla, space X and the likes, let's say there is enough money for funding, how many CEOs in Nigeria will exhibit the extraordinary kind of drive and patience Elon musk had in the early days of Tesla and spaceX, when the future of these companies were bleak? Everybody here wants to join the fast moving train... Even me sef And if there is anything that's killing us here the most is; tribalism and bias. On a norms, if Innoson was in the US, he would have become one of the richest men in the world. Can we embrace and support indigenous products without bias, tribalism or nepotism? All these are minor reasons sef, the main koko is; Nigeria have a way of killing promising investment venture with her bad and destructive governmental policies. 7 Likes |
