I want you to know that the 2 machines donated by Shell is still locked up in the state government facility because Wike want the machines to be stationed at the state hospital(BMH). The hospital will take weeks before they will start operating those machines. UPTH has upgraded their PCR machine and the one given to them by the FG and they’ve started testing as at Wednesday. They can test 50 samples a day.

He promised to use the funds saved from subsidy for SURE-P. But are you aware that the the SURE-P chairman resigned in less than a month because he can’t stand the corruption going on in the agency. Till today we don’t know what GEJ used the funds for. He lacks political will to step on toes.

The state is trying, most times I see them sharing 2000 or even 1000 naira to indegenes but that's not enough.

You are saying what you don’t know. The oil companies do give the host communities some employment slots for the indigenes but what happens is that the indigenes prefer to sell it to outsiders who will be paying them some fraction of their salary. I have 2 friends who work in oil servicing companies and this is what they do every month. An average Rivers boy/man prefer free money than working hard for the cash. So don’t blame the oil companies blame your people.
