iscom:
The story might not be true. It needs to be investigated.
You would fear the playing to emotions and outright lies Nigerians tell just to pass the blame on other people when a loved one dies in the care of someone else.
So I ask assuming this story where to be believed:
the caregiver on returning sees d woman on d floor and d first thing that comes to her mind is to zip out her phone and snap, when d average person reaction would b to first shout in panic & fear then rush out to call d nurses?
Falling off from a bed of that height CANNOT on its own kill a healthy person, even if pregnant.
If she actually died as narrated, which I strongly doubt, she may have been eclamptic and fell off d bed in a fit.Death then ensued due to d eclampsia and not d fall & not due to negligence per se.
Or was she even dead from other issues health-wise or manipulated, again unrelated to negligence.
A good investigation should be done, though I doubt anyother finding rather than negligence would assuage the family and the blood thirsty mob already out with their knives to crucify the nurses.

Fingerprint on the cloth and body, not d white wrap because Nigerian bystanders would have touched that;process it in forensics lab,get bvn that also captures our fingerprints, voila, the culprits will be apprehended or at worse, those that aided in d perpetration of d crime.
Vagina swab for DNA can also be done, though maylook more time consuming and cumbersome.
Oh,I forgot, this is Nigeria police we talking about here.Mass arrest, torture

U would realize Nigeria is in crass underdevelopment when the said "best news station" over the past 10 years,ChannelsTv,has never aired a live news event.Ordinary being at a scene and live broadcast of a major accident looks like an insurmountable task. That's when u come to realise Nigeria is at least 100 years behind in development.

These are the ones now we are aware of because they are now being published by some news outfits from information supplied by affected communities. It means there would have been others covered up by other communities due to the fear, fealthy or cowardice to the present goverment.
It's therefore not illogical to conclude that more civilians may have been killed by this government than they have BH insurgents.

11 years and counting.
If SanwoOlu actually believes that even the blue line, not both would be up and running in 2023,then he must be clowning.
Asides not being physically possible based on the level of construction so far and what is left to complete,2022 is an election campaign year that would put major funds guzzling projects in Nigeria like this sacrificial lambs for diversion of funds to campaigns and electioneering activities.
2025 is an achievable target, but 2026/27 looks the most realistic date for those lines to be up and running.

These ones have been so inculcated in Buhari's corruption mania that they now feel that $10million can easily be sourced and given to an individual to carry out a deed.
It's exactly what they do in Nigeria government circles under this present government.
A government that not only made a minister someone whose 103 houses or so were confiscated by a one time active EFCC,but actually returned all the houses to him.

Wicked soul deserving of a death sentence or minimum life because it was premeditated
However, the the judge and prosecution too are sorry a rses.
How can a judge turn around during sentencing to now reject the plea bargain?
What any learned trial judge and prosecution do is that they all meet before the court date with the defence team and agree on a plea bargain. If the judge due to the weight of the offence disagrees with d terms that's when she now tells them the minimum I would accept is 28years or so so years.
Not on the day of sentencing you now turnaround and unilaterally do what you want
But just like many things Nigerian,we tend to do things that defies commonsense and critical reasoning.

Just got confirmation that Igbere is run by a semi-illiterate.
Average salary for a government worker then was about ₦100/per month.
Average salary today is about ₦80k per month.
It costs about ₦500k-₦1million today to rent same equivalent status venue for a day.
Thus, takes same 5-8months salary for both time periods to rent same venue for the average government worker.
So still same thing, just different time periods and currency values.

It is funny how we always change the narrative to suit our intentions. If the PRICE of crude oil drops, it is argued that is the cause of rise in exchange rate as we do not export enough hence the drop in the value of Naira and when the crude crude oil price rises the argument is, that is why crude oil products and gas have increased in PRICE.
Head or Tail the Nigerian People lose.
They always change the goal post to suit their failure of a cattle herder.

Very irritating set of people.
I wonder why any sane person would defend that cattle rearer.Eveything he has ever touched or managed has been one disaster or d other.
There was a gas policy initiated that aimed to encourage more Nigerians to use cooking Gas than kerosene or wood for cooking,so as to discourage environmental pollution, deforestation and even for health and safety reasons, cooking Gas itself having all these benefits than the aforementioned others. To also reduce flaring and wastage of our gas resources.
Even the cylinder itself at a point was being sold at a subsidised price to further achieve the aim.
Suddenly, this cattle rearer came and imposed either vat or a sort of tax on cooking Gas.This the marketers have openly said is the major reason for the almost 100% increase in gas prices in slightly just over a year!
Yet demented f ools can still defend him!!

You want subsidy on Gas too, shebi? Same you city dwellers enjoying subsidy on petrol and electricity while those folks living in the villages continue to pick the bills as funds meant for their roads and cottage clinics and industries is being used to fund subsidy lifestyles for us in the cities and towns.
Sir, if you are truly in the gas business, you should know what gas is doing now even globally since the hurricane ida occurred in the US and locked 90% of the supply from that axis affected by ida.

You guys should please learn more about your industry, it's not the job of Buhari to ask you to READ or to subsidise gas for you at a time even industries in Europe are reducing production because of high gas and oil prices.

Take a break from nairaland and get real perspective of factors affecting your industry and understand it very well enough to be regarded an expert there . It's no brainer that except things change, gas and crude oil price may even increase more and Oman is already predicting that it will reach $200 per barrel because of bad weather and return of most industrial productions after covid-19. Brent was on $75.10 the last time I checked this morning. It has nothing to do with PMB, your usual scapegoat for everything.

Assuming you don't even know how a hidden camera looks, won't your commonsense tell you that if the hotel wanted to place a hidden camera,it won't be placed so openly?
Hidden camera indeed.Next you will see a fancy light bulb hanging in a hotel room and call it a secretly installed drone.

I have always questioned Sowore's education status.
For a suppposed graduate,no matter the course he read and someone that has been resident in America for years, assumably exposed to modern ways of thought,he always comes across like someone that just passed through a vocational apprenticeship after failing to complete secondary school;got lottery visa to the US,but still couldn't upgrade his thought faculties due to his foundational deficiencies.
Why?Any sensible person that passed through school would have done a comparative study of the number of supporters of the cattle rearer's government that died during the same time period.
I am even surprised he didn't include his murdered brother, may his soul RIP,as one of the critics.

Very unfortunate death and painful.
But Nigerian top shorts must stop this habit of calling their foreign doctor friends to start issuing what the Nigerian now believe to be superior instructions that should be obeyed by their Nigerian counterparts.
When these same people go abroad, can they dare tell a foreign doctor that another doctor,in another country, even a western country, not even Nigerian, wants to speak with them on what should be done?
Unfortunate that we also don't do routine autopsies in Nigeria. It would have been helping us a lot because many of these "sudden deaths" involve people that had been having serious underlying health issues they themselves ignored or were always attributing to malaria/typhoid and each time they go to the hospital, instruct the doctor to treat them for same.

A man there said in same time period,he was earning ₦100 as a junior staff.Without spending his salary it would have taken him about 3 years,6months to buy a beetle car then.
A junior goverment staff let's assume earns about 80k today.
A basic new car costs about ₦4million today.Takes same years to buy equivalent same car.
So it's still same, yet assumed graduates are just looking at the face value of ₦4000 without looking at the equivalent income, wages and value of goods/services over the years.
For those that do this kind of stupid comparison,I always ask,$4000 in America in 1982,is it same as $4000 today?Absolutely not!
