The story of that massacre that some cursed fellows are either denying or downplaying will continue being unfolded and revealed till the ghosts of the dead haunt the perpetrators, their bosses and those that supervise them. |
Kemmy210:I am even beginning to suspect the sender. If she wants to remain anonymous to the receiver, nothing stops her from sending it to western union. I still have serious doubts it's the Union Bank teller that stole the money. That sum is too low for a bank staff to jeopardize his job for. |
So Sanwo Olu lied? The man's psychological make-up must be thoroughly investigated,if the army's version of events is true. No wonder he has been trying to save face by admitting the army was involved and quickly reopening all markets. A senile man leading Nigeria and one with a likely psychiatric history leading Lagos,a fatal combination |

That woman doesn't seem like someone that has ever held the steering controls of a helicopter before, talkless of flying one. It's only a picture of her in a helicopter flying one that would convince she is a hands on pilot, instead of a mere paper qualified one. |
Picture shows supposed side of penetration was on the left.
Xray shows bullet lodged on the right.
Something sounds off about this story. |
N1.2b worth of medical equipment indeed. |
Glorifying the suffering of people. The aim of this op is to say"for protesting, you people that protested or supported the protesters deserve every suffering you get". Burning and looting,as bad as it is,and try as much as people and government warn against it,have most often been a collateral damage of protests, even in the most civilized, well to do and democratic of Nations. Bad policies make people become angry. When u now add hunger and suffering,u would come to realize,Nigerian protest was even a bit mild. In many Arab Nations, with the kinds of hardship and police brutality Nigerians are suffering, whole cities would have been burnt to the ground and numerous government facilities set ablaze. In the Western world,1/4 of what is happening here would have shut down cities and countries for weeks till practical steps are taken or governments resign. Successive Nigerian governments are lucky to have relatively laid back people, despite the level of hardship. As for the BRT buses, for heaven's sake, large corporations like that take out insurance policies for vehicular accidents, bus infernos, accidental or deliberate or irate actions by the public. If they didn't,then one must question the kind of people running the BRT. It's a demented person that would find joy in glorifying suffering of people because of a largely peaceful protest, that was then infiltrated by government sponsored thugs, which for everyone has backfired. |
I may have unfairly underrated this man. He impressed me when he publicly stated he had called the president but wasn't able to reach him;earlier he had taken the demands of protesters to the president himself, when the protests were still peaceful, now this direct admission from him of the military complicity. Something tells me Sanwo Olu,in his eccentricity,is saying and doing things the presidency wouldn't like and he may soon start having issues with Aso Rock. Even Tinubu may not find it funny since it's putting his presidential ambition at risk. They may soon bring up that his psychiatric treatment again. |
AsabaPropertyAg:Even yesterday in many parts of Lagos, from afternoon time, boys that mounted roadblocks at many points had left. The roads were free in Lagos as at yesterday, maybe not all parts though. I am sure by today some commercial activities have resumed fully and the roads almost returning to normal. Even some fuel stations have reopened for business. Police checkpoints have not even been in existence for a good number of days. |
The difference between Wike and Buhari is that one has a certificate and the other doesn't. But both most times act like people with no proper education atimes. So is he indirectly saying oyigbo people are not indigenes? If so, would he allow them to carve themselves out of Rivers State? |
But she actually didn't say anything that meaningful or insightful about the reason for the crisis. Just rants up and down. |
Casper21:Typical Nigerian mentality. |
Jdbrasco2:You think God is so idle to help those who are already lost and heading for hellfire? The fact remains there are some people that are even beyond God's help. The person u quoted is amongts those lot. |
Ambode told us about the danger of a man that was once admitted in a psychiatric facility vying for governor of Lagos State. Now everyone is witnessing first hand the confirmation of that fear. Maybe he is not taking his anti psychotic drugs because this man clearly is not acting rationally. |
SoBright101:What are you accessing again? You will be of more use if you can access his WAEC result for us,instead of accessing a speech we already accessed or are you an accessory? |
Isale Eko boys are a special breed of people. Whether as,touts, aka touts,,hooligans or protesters, they don't take no prisoners and fear no one when they set their minds on a mission. Isale Eko boys alone can bring down a state government. |
Ambode said it that this one has a mental history and many waved him off as campaign to discredit sanwo olu. |
Good. The evil Barrack Obama supported, maybe ignorantly, would be undone when Biden becomes president |
LarryIgbo:People like Beyonce, like her or not,are very powerful voices amongts the youths and political leadership because of the kinds of followers they control. These are people whose single tweet can affect how companies and countries do business with Nigeria. Dont joke with people like this. |
LUTH A&E has always been full. It's the topmost referral centre in Lagos State and it's neighbouring states,so it's not a surprise. So it's not due to the SARS protest |
Only 35. This people still take this thing as a joke. Akwuzu and Lagos SARS units alone have more than double that number and all have blood and/or ill gotten money on their hands, unless corruption in the police is now an officially accepted norm. |
Nonsense. No wonder he doesn't seem to innovate after establishing the one time most influential and most visited forum in Africa. No true positive change comes cheap. Lives and businesses suffer collateral damage, but the future is the end not today. The struggle of these youths today is not as per what they would gain immediately,or even a few years time, but that when they eventually become adults, they would not suffer the kinds of deprivation many adults have been suffering through their youthful years and now in the latter years of their lives. Since 1999 at least, but actually going back the years of Buhari 1st tenure and Babangida tenure, Nigeria has been run to the ground. SARS is just the embodiment of the rot in the total fabric of Nigeria. If people don't suffer some inconvenience now,how will they appreciate the essence of the struggle and victory if it comes? If labor were to be organizing a protest, can Seen or anyone tell them not to disrupt those going on their private businesses? Damn no! |
Whiteangel1234:I am quite impressed that some Nigerians are seeing beyond the surface. Even on Twitter, people are voicing out after sensing that the attack on the RRS,Benin prison and police posts may have been sponsored by government agents so as to give the protests a bad name,to justify the growing use of force. The strategy may backfire. |
Thought that snake charmer lied the operation crocodile smile is not targetted at EndSARS protesters? If I were the government I would even be more concerned that soldiers are on the streets because this is the one that could be used to overthrow the government or cause a civilian insurrection if they start using high handed tactics on protesters. They should tell them to return to the barracks because on both sides,it's a lose lose for the government |
rlcanon:Very possible and likely scenario. Opposition that lost the election might have hired the thugs to kill so as to paint the obaseki government in badlight. It's very, very unlikely that a government that won the election through the resilience of the Edo people would orchestrate this thug attack. But at the same time, Nigerian politicians are another breed of Satan's apostles. The same government may have a hand too.If the latter is the case,it would be shocking but not surprising as far as Nigerian politicians are concerned. |
space9880:Don't always believe some people unless you see evidence. There is no household PHCN or whatsoever gives a bill of N90k as consumption per month. It's likely that's the sum of the accumulated bill and not the net charge. If the person you quoted posts the bill and it shows his/her current charge, and not accumulated as 90k,I promise to deactivate this account. One of the things these protests should teach everyone is that once you are honest and truthful in your agitation and views, you are mostly going to triumph. But once you lie, give half truths or politicize your actions or posts, you start getting doubted and unsupported eventually. Eventhough the 90k may still be exorbitant even if it's accumulated, but the truth of what that 90k arose is what I seek him to be honest about. Let him post proof of his 90k current charge bill here. |
