They should go and arrest Tinubu. He legalized touting and thuggery in Lagos State because he felt that is a sure way of winning elections.Majority of the clashes arise from who controls the motor parks,markets and any area where money extortion in the name of fees and levies has been legalized in Lagos state. Many of the cultists are still the members of NURTW or the other Road union,RTEAN,like NLC and TUC,or revenue touts of the local goverments. If these Unions are not totally banned and thr enforced these clashes would resume after a while. In some areas in Lagos in a distance of less than 500m,you find up to 5 different pay points where so called "omo onile" or local government council touts in the name of employees,mount checkpoints extorting any vehicle,truck or van with goods of any nature,and someone calls that a civilized city. 4 Likes |

If EFCC had not come out with proof that the school was not in session when they closed it, dimwitted readers on social media would have believed it full heartedly without using their brains. Eventhough I know Ihedioha will also steal his own,but the level at which Okorocha and his family bled Imo state is unprecedented. Even in checking of time as Otedola so childishly cited as the reason why he doesn't wear one any longer,how convenient is t using your phone? Phones are usually inside pockets or bags.So everytime u want to know the time,u have to dig it out from your pocket or bag. Sometimes too,it's on screen or even phone lock.Here u then have to unlock it before knowing the time. What of even times,you are charging it,away from you.So u got to get up to check. Otedola's reason is so embarassing for a man of his status and exposure. It's like someone saying,'since I have 2 functional hands,I don't need handkerchief any longer'. Utterly embarrassing. He maybe partly right because the North has more homosexuals,sexual deviants,drug addicts and perverts than all other parts of Nigeria. I am even surprised that this is the first major casualty recorded. Terrible drivers. That's how someone was saying if you can drive in Lagos,you can drive anywhere in the world. I just laughed and didn't bother replying. What they do in Lagos is not driving,but moving vehicles from one point to another,by any means and any route.Driving is a far higher task. In many developed countries,aside strictly obeying traffic rules,there are speed limits you can't go above or even go below,depending on the kind of road you are driving.There are laws for how you can even stop a vehicle,the distance you must give before "trafficating"or maintain if you are behind.Laws about how when you accelerate from a certain distance to overtake,the car in front must decelerate,and not try maintain same speed or foo lishly also accelerate,as many do in Lagos,etc.All these come with very heavy fines for violations.Almost all commercial bus drivers can't achieve that driving proficiency. 2 Likes |

Why in a hurry to bury him? There are times when justice an truth finding must supercede any Islamic rite. A forensic autopsy should have been done to unravel the truth of who killed him. It could be the police,it could be he died from a health issue,that the crisis precipitated,not necessarily from a bullet wound. This is part of why we are not progressing as a people:no evidence based facts. |

dirtycoin:You obviously were. Fasting blood sugar level,as it literarily means is that you should have been "fasting",about 8hrs at least. The only reason why it's usually done in the early morning is because it's more convenient and easier for people to not have eaten after dinner at night. If u do same 8 hours fasting during any time of the day,it still is ok to be measured. Secondly,even if you eat and do the test,say immediately or say 2hours after,your sugar test can still be done.The only difference is that a different,higher range,of values,will then be used to gauge if your sugar level is still within normal range.
