Really, my wife said she was told that she needs to renew the license in other to claim years of experience. We both wrote and passed our G1 today, so we intend to get our extracts to enable us skip G2

Hi guys, pls is there any other official way of renewing a drivers license and drivers extract from Nigeria? I have sent two mails to the email address put up earlier by @lagbaja88 but did not get any response.

Would have just used the Nigerian Embassy here but they cannot renew a driver's license.

Let's push it a step further, I believe u can replicate Skimanski's work at a cheaper price wink?

BrabusNG:

Let me make this simple.

Can I do what Skimanski does? NO!

Can I replicate Skimanski’s work? YES!

That’s two different things for those who understand it! There’s too much energy packed inside that guy.
Properties / Re: General Topic Thread-To Discuss Anything And Everything in Building Construction by seunpinky(m): 6:01pm On Sep 02, 2021
diordavies is an Elder in this section, he would not give u a blow below the belt cheesy

Skimanski now spends time on Instagram.. I'm sure the newbies would be asking who be this Skimanski sef grin grin.....

I miss the good old days when we had several experts commenting with their expertise opinion on various topics... People like segcymoore would break down Civils, substructures and piling projects... Abdulwastecx would bring his FUTminna knowledge and skills, Brabus would come with contemporary designs, lekki real estate knowledge and biz development skills. I remember spyders first project here just before/after he resigned from coca cola, how muyesky was the go to guy for irons works before michilins came into the picture, how rottech grew to become a builder, And so many others I can't remember but what do we have now, names calling and dragging over recommendations wink

n3xt:

Now diordavies will use this to score cheap points against me. grin grin

The guy did justice to one of my mad contemporary project and I’m wowed.

I’m hopefully returning the favour back to him on one of his project in few days. His client now my prospect told me “Skimanski did the ground work” and I’m like “His level of craftsmanship is written all over the place”

Oga I hail o if you dey hear or read me.

I appreciate the genuineness of your response. Thumbs up, I think he should find a way to walk around the known communication issues and he would be fine.

n3xt:

There are 3 types of services that people in Skimanski’s class delivers. You can only pick 2.

Good.
Fast.
Cheap.

If it’s Good and Fast, it won’t be Cheap.
If it’s Fast and Cheap, it won’t be Good.
If it’s Good and Cheap, it won’t be Fast.

As per the communication lapses, since it’s a known issue, I’d find a way to work around it to get what I want if it was me.

Wishing you good luck on your project.

__________

Skimanski is not slow though. I have a guy that you need to book at least 6 months to deliver a door. People who values his work use him.

From my over 8 years of frequenting the property section, I can tell u that Skimanski remains the best when it comes to detailed, quality and top notch finishes. Others such as Brabus, Dennis are trying but I don't think they are not upto skimanskis level.

My opinion not bibeli grin

Get your test done a day before your departure. Make sure u get to the test centre early enough say 9am and your result would be mailed to you say 4pm same day. Ensure u print out 3 copies of the test result. Talking from my experience
Pinky:
Did anyone fly Ethiopia airline to Toronto, Canada? Please when is the advisable time to do the covid-19 test?
flight is 1.40pm, should the test be done 1 OR 2 days before the flight . I am worried we may not get the test result if done a day before
please advise based on your Ethiopian airline experience

Thank you

Hello all,
please help with my questions below:

1. is it true that upon landing Canada, you have to apply for Social insurance number (SIN) online and it will take weeks to arrive? don't they issue it anymore at the airport upon landing?
2. if one has 1.5 years driving history on Nigeria Driver's license, does it mean one will not be able to use the FRSC driving history in Toronto so as to do G2 road test immediately after passing G1?
2. please if you have gotten FRSC diving history recently, could you please share the contact in Abuja and how long it took to receive the letter

Thank you!!!!

This scenario played out with a family friend. The father was a very big and successful biz man, infact was a major supplier of security doors for banks in Nigeria.

The man tried so hard to convince his son to leave the UK to take over the biz, the son refused and stayed put. The father died some years ago and now the son is back to take over the biz, guess what, d biz has not been d same ever since.. he missed d opportunity to learn directly under his father and their competitors have seized control of their market share.

If yes, how much do they do the covid test ?

Landing gists grin

We arrived at the airport at 9.05am, our flight was scheduled for 1.40pm.
We went to the ET check in stand, weighed our luggages. We had excess luggage and the ET staff was very helpful. He advised us to upgrade 2 of our luggages from 23kg to 32kg and we made pymt of 53,000 for the upgrade.

They requested for print out copies and photocopy of covid-19 test results, CoPR, passport data page, evidence of full vaccination and arrivecan app code.

After this we proceeded to get our boarding pass, na there wahala start... The Nahcol staff issuing the boarding pass said there was an issue with my wife's or baby's visa. He said it was not activated, ghen ghen..... He asked us series of questions and we answered. He said the only solution is to call IRCC and that we have to use our credit to make d call. Na xo we load 4k airtime. He spoke with an IRCC agent, this process took us over 50mins. Time was already 12:45pm. The IRCC agent checked and said there was nothing wrong with the visa and she gave them a code to use to override the error. It took the Nahcol staff another 20mins battling with the system. At this point we became apprehensive, time was already past 1 and we didn't have a boarding pass, boarding had started like 30mins earlier. We had to involve the head of ET who then gave the Nahcol staff instructions on what to do. Eventually they printed a boarding pass for my wife to take her to Ethiopia and that they will send a mail to Ethiopia to prepare her boarding pass from Ethiopia to Toronto.

At 1.20pm we started racing down to do immigration, customs etc. We were lucky to have a family frnd who works with faan.. he helped us breeze tru these, and we eventually boarded d plan at 1.40pm as the last passengers.

Gosh it was a terrible experience, imagine having to carry a one year baby, with three hand luggages and other stuffs and running all the way to the tarmac. We were sweeting like goats

The trip to Addis Ababa was smooth, we disembarked and went straight to join the connection flight to Canada. When we got to the boarding gate, we told them that we were to pick up up boarding pass for my wife, they took her passport and told us to chill, within 10mins her boarding pass was ready and we boarded the plane off to Canada.

Canada Events:

After we landed, we were ushered into a room where they separated fully vaccinated travels from non vaccinated. Vaccinated travellers get to show evidence of vaccination to the boarder agent and a green sticky paper is affixed on the passport.

We proceeded to another agent who requested for our CoPR, Passport and asked some basic questions ( address in Canada, phone no, how much we were coming with) he signed off the CoPR and said welcome to canada cheesy grin cool. We joined a queue for covid-19 test and within 10mins we were done.

We spent a total of 3hours from landing till we got out of the airport. Our hosts were already waiting for us.

Hi Guys,

Please I have been saddled with the task of getting a family friend two toyota hiace bus to serve as a school bus.

Asides going with a trusted mechanic,
Please what are the major things to look out for?
What engines model should I avoid?
What years are preferable?
I am on the lookout for the long chasis type (18 passenger seats)

Most of these buses are from Europe and as such running a vin check on them might not yield so much in information.

Kindly see the attached pics of the hiace bus in question.

Cc: gazzuzz, nurey, blackbishop, radautos, marpol, kingreign and others.

I have a week to deliver this task.
