RomanceRe: Help!! I Am Loosing It!! by sevule(m): 12:48am On Jan 04, 2015
It is pretty unfortunate that you find yourself in this predicament. There is only answer and you know the answer. The girl that you have fallen JUST HAS TO GO!!!!!
If she continues staying in your house your feelings for her would only grow. You need to think about your wife and your family and for their sake and yours you have to insist that she leaves.
The sad part about this is that it is not the poor girl's fault but she just has to go. You guys can always rent an apartment or something for her but the sooner she is out of your life the better. You also need to cutoff communication with her - no pinging, no calls, no visits, no anything.
Finally you need to learn self control. Best of luck

Hi Guys

I sent in my application for FSWP on October 9 and I was debited on December 22. For those who have received PER I would greatly appreciate it if you can answer the question below

When would the visa office request for proof of funds? Can you give me a time frame either from when you received your PER or when your account was debited?
I want to ensure that there are sufficient funds in my account when they eventually request for an updated proof of funds.

Thanks!!!

You're the one who has no idea what he's saying. Your ideas are grossly pedestrian. Trouble doesn't ask you for permission to come. It can just spring up at anytime and the man who wishes to govern 170million people must be ready at all times. Nigeria isn't the only one with insurgency. Kenya is battling same but i'm yet to hear Uhuru Kenyatta blame the opposition or the Kenyan Muslim population for the problem despite the fierce contest that heralded his presidency. All we hear from you the apologists of the weak and ineffective president is that the Muslims don't want him to rule and i wonder if you guys forget that he has Muslims in his government, in PDP and in his own corruption and power cabal. You forget also that he'll still need to garner votes from Muslims if he hopes to get re-elected. If he can't fight the insurgency, how about the gross stealing going on? is that also the fault of the Muslims? how many times have you heard Obama blame the white Americans for his problems?

If you don't want to get hot and sweaty, leave the kitchen. If your boss or clients tolerates excuses instead of results for every assignment they give, you and them deserve pity because you're headed for failure. Nigerians are tired of excuses. we need results and if he can't deliver, It's time to walk.

God bless Nigeria indeed
This has to be the most SENSIBLE post I have read on Nairaland for some time! Please hit the nail on the head bro! Lackeys would keep on blaming other people for their problems. If Jonathan is elected today, all the people he is blaming for his inability to perform, would they disappear? No!!!!!!!!!!
So doesn't that mean that a vote for Jonathan is a vote for FAILURE??

I am sure GEJ didn't spend up to 1million naira for the wedding. If you are a political figure in a high position, people clamour to help out during your occasion. So, please stop castigating GEJ unnecessarily...even though I am no fan.

I am not a fan of cakes muchless huge ones and or bogus wedding gowns but if that was they (bride especially) wanted and it could be afforded...then no one should moan about it.
It is sad that intelligent people like you would actually think like this. So you think that Jonathan did not spend money on his daughter's wedding? You think that it was all bankrolled by his friends?

Without a doubt, Jonathan's administration is definitely THE MOST CORRUPT government Nigeria has ever had and it is because of Nigerians like yourselves. You see how the government is lavishing the taxpayer's money - your money and yet you still make excuses for them. Nobody calls them to order and we wonder why Nigeria is a backwards undeveloped country.

Amaechi even said it that the politicians would steal our money and rub it in your faces and nobody would do anything because we are too docile! Madam do not make excuses for people that are stealing this country blind but rather use your power to VOTE them out.

And you are the one that has sense right?? huh huh huh

Instead of you to try and make a valid argument all you can do is blindly criticize a valid point raised by another. It is funny that even Obasanjo noted in his book that Jonathan would ALWAYS blame everybody else and this is EXACTLY what is happening! They are now blaming the USA for the actions of our Nigerian soldiers. Since we are now blaming the US for our military, let us also blame them for our missing $10 billion, horrible power supply, lack of infrastructure, corruption in government etc.

Let us BLAME the USA for EVERYTHING!!

UTTER RUBBISH!!!!!!

Isn't this the same guy that initially said it is the handiwork of the Devil?? huh huh huh

What sickens me most is how a lot of moronic Nigerian males are quick to rush to his defense!! Makes me sick to call myself an African man. I have been following this case and at least 10 women have come out to say the same thing! So all of them are lying abi?
This man is a sick pervert and in a more civilized country he would be cooling his heels in jail instead of boasting about rape.

I am not a woman but I cannot imagine how horrifying a crime like rape is. I hope the law takes its rightful course and is not perverted as usual by our corrupt judicial system.

Kirikiri is TOO GOOD for this man!

A lot of inexperienced ITKs in this section. That's why I am mostly a read only user.
Given the right condition , anyone and I repeat anyone can cheat on their spouse.
Changing your sim after your wedding helps you avoid temptation.
A number of coincidences can make you fall back into the arms of an ex e.g imagine if you are out of town and your ex whom you have a soft spot for happens to call you after you've just had a nasty fight with your spouse.
you'll probably be at the mercy of that ex.

Changing sims just helps ladies avoid stories that touch
After marriage its left to you to explicitly give out your number to whoever but atleast you avoid people who have it by default.
Sorry to ask Sir, But are you still living in the stone age? huh huh huh huh huh

Is this for real?? I actually thought this post was a joke but apparently it is not. Your husband's request is completely absurd and infantile. Okay so you break your sim then what next? Delete your facebook profile, whatsapp and BBM? While you are doing that what about resigning from your job since you might run into an ex?

I am a full blooded African man but sometimes I am ashamed by our men's conduct. Whatever happened to a simple communication? For heavens sake you are his wife and he OUGHT to trust you. So what happens if you run into an ex while going to the market? Is he also going to stop you from going to the market?

Nigerian men and their pathetic insecurities never ceases to amaze me
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Government terminates US Military Training Of Army by sevule(m): 4:28am On Dec 02, 2014
Once again our government makes another uninformed and frankly clueless decision. What amazes me is not the fact that our government has fumbled again (what else would you expect) but rather the fact that Nigerians are so DENSE and have refused to think for themselves! Rather they would hail every clueless decision that this government makes.

We have literally spent billions of dollars on our military and we have absolutely nothing to show for it. The Boko Haram sect is better equipped than our military and continue to overrun army bases. Not only is our military poorly equipped but they are also HIGHLY undisciplined. Have we forgotten so soon how military men burnt BRT buses in Lagos?

And have we also forgotten the $1 billion loan that was taken out to fight Boko Haram? The $1 billion loan that we all know would go into funding the upcoming elections because Nigerians are to scared to demand accountability from the government? Then our government decides to reject help from the greatest army on earth (USA) because of some silly spat? We can not even give bullets to our soldiers for heavens sake because the allocated funds were diverted as usual!

As usual instead of focusing on the ROT within our government we would rather blame the witch in our village (USA in this case). You have a government that says they know who the sponsors of Boko Haram are but have REFUSED to do anything about it. And yet some people have the audacity to actually cheer the fact that our government rejected assistance from the US.

However, there are 2 facts you can't dispute: if you look at things wholistically, you'd agree that Nigeria is better than it was 10 years back, and would still be better than it is today, tomorrow.
Please which igbo have you been smoking lately? How can anybody in his right senses possibly say that Nigeria of today is better than Nigeria of 2004. In 2004 the dollar exchanged for =N-127 and in 2014 it exchanged for =N=172. Or do you want to look at the rate of unemployment? What about the standard of living? I could go on and on but I won't even bother.

It never ceases to amaze me when deluded Nigerians seek to absolve this present corrupt government of blame. You people are suffering and smiling and yet you are ready to sell your souls for a few naira note that the government would give you in order to vote them in.

You can continue keeping your head in the sand. Dude wake up and call your government to order!!!

I have ONE question to ask our incredibly CORRUPT government. What has SURE-P done with the funds that accrued from the partial lifting of fuel subsidy that was done early this yearhuh??

The answer is NOTHING!!!!!! Our government is so corrupt that they can not even account for the funds that was received from lifting of subsidy. I still remember the PTF which was setup when the then military government increased fuel prices. I actually saw roads that were built by PTF and my school's labs were renovated by PTF! And to think that this was during the military era which was supposedly corrupt.

I can say that the JONATHAN administration is without doubt THE MOST CORRUPT government Nigeria has ever had!!!

The sad truth is that subsidy should actually be removed but the sadder fact is that even if it is totally removed today, the money saved would enter the pockets of corrupt government officials

Finally where are all the people that are quick to say GEJ till 2019huhhuh How come none of them are on this thread??
RomanceRe: Is She Worth Marrying??? by sevule(m): 11:00am On Nov 20, 2014
First love?
It is definitely one of 2 thing
1. She called him that jokingly but there is actually nothing going on between the two of them
2. There is something going on between the 2 of them

From the context of the chat, I would say option 1 is most likely correct and there is nothing going on between them. However what worries me is the fact that she is still chatting with her married ex and they seem to be very close. And as par the whole molestation thing, it is definitely a lie. I believe the truth is you found her out and she quickly used molestation as an excuse for not being a virgin. If it was true she would have told you about the molestation BEFORE you had sex with her and not after.

Bro I would advise you to slow your roll. Keep marriage off the agenda for now and study your babe cos believe me she is definitely keeping secrets from you. You know what they say, marry in haste repent at leisure. So please, please and please POSTPONE all marriage plans till you are ABSOLUTELY certain that she is the right person for you.
Christianity EtcRe: Synagogue Building Felled By Controlled Demolition -police by sevule(m): 11:30pm On Nov 19, 2014
It always amazes me when people in power think all Nigerians are clueless and brain dead!!! huh huh huh

Controlled demolition my foot!! Please since when did the Head of Homicide become a Structural Engineer? How for heaven's sake would the police force be so inane as to make such a statement? It is like a bricklayer diagnosing a patient and saying that the patient has cancer!!! What the heck does the Head of Homicide know about demolitionshuh??

For goodness sake this is not ROCKET SCIENCE. Anytime a demolition is done there WOULD ALWAYS be EVIDENCE left! There would be signs of the explosive used in the area. So all they have to do is test the scene for traces of explosives instead of saying the most ridiculous things. But of course we all know that the building collapsed as a result of unapproved additional construction. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to know that.

I am a Christian but it saddens me when people use the name of Christ in vain. Christ clearly told us that we need to obey the law hence nobody is exempt not even pastors! The government should seat up, thoroughly investigate the case and if it is discovered that the modifications to the building were unauthorized, somebody definitely has to take the fall. Let us not forget that over 100 innocent souls were lost to a tragedy that was preventable.

RomanceRe: Why Do Girls React When Asked"are You A Virgin? by sevule(m): 2:16am On Nov 16, 2014
@poster

What kind of inane, dense and unintelligent question is that? Who gave you the right to ask such a personal question? If I was cousin I would probably have given you a dirty slap in order to reset your brain as it is obvious that you are very nosy and jobless.

It is only in Nigeria that men feel that they have the right to ask ladies such personal questions. Abeg MEN OPEN YOUR EARS!!! If you are not her boyfriend (no be assistant boyfriend oh) you have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to ask a woman such a question!!!

@poster aka Mr. Virgin Checker please change your post to WHY CAN'T I JUST MIND MY OWN BLIMEY BUSINESS??
Nairaland GeneralRe: Finally! Jonathan Unveils The Hundred Naira Centenary Note by sevule(m): 7:13am On Nov 14, 2014
This a CRIMINAL action by Jonathan's government, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!!!

Yes I know this sounds harsh but the horrendous level of corruption under Jonathan's government is appalling!!! For heavens sake somebody should tell me ONE SINGLE thing a new naira note would do that the old naira note cannot do. When countries worldwide are busy making budget cuts because of an uncertain world economy we are busy spending money like money grows on trees.

It is so funny that the government would dare compare their actions with other countries like Morocco and Russia. Please these countries that they are comparing us to, do they have 24 hours supply? Do they have running water? Do they have developed infrastructure? The answer is a resounding YES!!!!!! So why would we copy the fact that they relaunched their currencies and not copy these other things?? sad sad angry angry

We have nothing to show for 100 years as a country except massive corruption and our corrupt government decides that another spending spree is in order.

This is SHAMEFUL!!
