So my first trip was VI. Dropped rider and I got another(Heart leaped for joy)
Called rider and asked him his location. He told me. Asked him his destination and he flared up. He was like "Cancel it if you're not going. What's this rubbish?" and he hung the call on me.

My ego was telling me to cancel while the "meekful" spirit of Jesus(definately not mine) told me to get to the pickup.

Got there, oga entered and was just pouring his anger on me. He wasn't insultive neither did he disrespect me, but he was angry. I was trying to explain but he didn't want to hear. He said "If you want to go, start the trip or cancel so I'll come down".

I spoke briefly to God to change any Alagbole or Iju or Apapa there and I slid START TRIP. It was Sangotedo

Oga was just vexing and never even let me talk. He complained from Akin Adesola to Samuel Manuwa and finally he said "Don't talk to me please, just drive". All these while I was just saying "I'm sorry bros"

It's was a silent ride to his abode. Ended trip. Oga paid and then he said, "Will you be available by 2pm? I would like you to take me to Ikeja".

At that point, I knew I just graduated from 1 star to 2 star and above

M please how do u change destination on Uber from the driver’s phone. I can only do that on taxify. With Uber, it’s only d rider that can make any changes.

Let me give u a quick brief on the reality on ground.
Earn about #15k on average.
Uber takes 25%
15000-3750= 11250
11250-4000 fuel. = 7250
7250-5000 car owners money= 2250.. That's take home pay. You wake up 4.30am and come home by 11pm.. All for #2250
Okay... 2250-600 feeding on the road. 1650. Internet and phone calls #500. How much come remain? #1000
How person wan take save 3k per day?

Good morning guys. Please is there anyone in the house using or have used a manual transmission car for uber/taxify?

Can you share experience? Does using a manual drive for uber/taxify makes the job A LOT more difficult?

I've driven a manual before some some 8 years ago. But someone told me I dare not try using if for uber/taxify. That I may not be able to cope. Asking because manual drive is significantly cheaper for same model of car

A lady ordered me from fagba to berger. She conveniently sat at OWNER’S CORNER doing snap chat with her miserable tecno phone with gucci pouch.When i ended the trip it was 1200. She said she only has 1k with her. With a calm voice i told her to bring the 1k like that. I cajoled her to rate me and she gave me 5star. What taxify is using to deceive drivers is by showing you the gross earnings on a trip, You should be only concerned about what your gain is after a trip.
I am sure that your spirit won't be that elated if your were shown your actual income (2,635) on that said trip.

It takes 24hours before the system will recognise you have done the 15 trips. Uber promises to refund last week but they didn't. I did my 15th trip on Tuesday morning and switched to taxify when they charged my 16th trip. Had to wait for 24hrs before 0% service fee started.

Maybe you are on Taxify (not lite). People with 2005 cars & above enjoy Taxify so much as the earning is about 20% higher than both lite & Uber.

I dey go Taxify office first thing tomorrow morning.

Or maybe you have a suggestion as to what might be draining my fuel so quickly

I use big daddy too. I'm still new in the business but I once made 15k with 6k fuel

On a short trip of 7H, rider has told me the story of my life, trying to defend her earlier statement that "all drivers are thieves". I had tried to explain to her how these things work, but she rudely cut me short. Got to drop off, ended trip and saw 700. She insisted the trip estimate was 5H. That I had managed to inflate the fares one way or another, that all drivers are thieves, bla bla bla. She brought out 5H and outrighly rejected it. She roared that she was not going to add a kobo. At this point, dispute resolvers were already strolling towards us like they were waiting for us (maybe because babe flashy die ). I told her I can even leave the money for her. She said fine, and walked away (shaking nyash). Got in the car, slammed the door (out of anger) and zoomed off. Positioned and went to check the owner's corner if it's in order for next rider. Ah, babe forgot her baq!
As for me and my family, babe's coming to the mainland (Ojodu ) to pick it.

Meanwhile this new uber thing fit drag all the drivers back to uber ooo. One can easily do 15 trips in 2 days, 3 days max. The remaining na awoof.... oboy see groove

15 upward = 0%

Of course i chopped her N300 cancellation, cos it was just 600m away. I checked her rating, 5.0... oh newbie.

For the first time i felt guilty chopping cancellation.



1hr later i picked N500 and got out of the car to eat, before i reach mama put, N500 don fall, another person don pick am sharp sharp...., i had to go to car again to pick another N500.....
I remembered d newbie rider then i smiled.

But today sweet sha.... only put off engine twice. More money.
