Why did Crusades originate in the first place?

It was because of the terrorism of the Islamic religion to the extent that Jerusalem was captured.

Then Pope Urban II sanctioned the first crusade in 1095 and encouraged Christian military to fight the Islamists and conquer their terrorism.

The Christian crusade was successful and they recovered Jerusalem in 1099. The best of these crusades lasted till 1291, nearly 2 centuries war.

Other crusades by the Christian army and Knights were indulgences and power drunkenness of the Roman Catholic church against heretical Christian beliefs different from old Catholic beliefs; they also fought against paganism. This is bad though because there wasn't much enlightenment then.

But to say that Christians taught you guys terrorism is the height of fallacy and hypocrisy.

The Crusades and the Knights Templar army were instituted to fight your Islamic terrorism that were destroying lives and properties then.

That's an ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) . It is beautiful to behold, and personally I loved it just like you until I did a research on it.

It also has another variant with 4 wheels.

FYI: It is a very dangerous vehicle even when you have mastered it. That's the type of vehicle that got Michael Ballack' son killed few weeks ago.

It is prone to accident, majorly by roll-overs and falling on the rider.

So you may wanna be very careful if you intend to ride one.

It's difficult to understand certain scriptures without picturing the people being addressed. When the law that women should not wear men's cloth came to the Isrealites, they were not even wearing trousers at all. There was no trousers to begin with.


As a matter of fact, the scripture didn't mention trousers so why then should a lady not wear women's trousers?

This is the question that comes to mind when some departments' modus operandi are somewhat iconoclastic.

It's absurd to hear that one does not see his results, whether an A, B,C,D,E, or F in all courses from the starting of an MSc program till the ending of it.
Only for you to hear that the NOTIFICATION OF RESULT, which only states your grade whether PhD, MPhil etc, is ready at the PG School.

Maybe it is your faculty, in Faculty of Education, we do see our results. The only result I can say I didn't see prior to overall grade is my thesis.

However, where I can say they are overrated is that there's nothing special about their lecturers and administration because I noticed that there are courses and departments that need more lecturers and still the school won't employ more needed lecturers.

Then, just like in most schools (state or federal) in Nigeria, the faculties have giants among lecturers and they tackle themselves or have ability to cancel a course for a session just because they need junior lecturers under them for personal official assignments.

Note that some of these junior lecturers to these giants are senior lecturers too in their cadres (doctors /associate profs) but their oga is their oga and they wield much power in their departments.

However, the non academic staff are more civil compared to where I did my first degree; perhaps their civility is because we are PG students (I can't say).

But there's nothing much special.
