aminulive: Socio-cultural group, The Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo has called on Igbos to forget the agitations for Biafra and focus on the calls for restructuring the nation.
President of the group, Chief John Nnia Nwodo on Thursday pointed out that the agitation for Biafra was not an Igbo agenda. He made these statements during the Inauguration of state and local government executives of the Abia state chapter of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo.He said;
“We should forget Biafra and insist on restructuring,” adding, however, that no Igbo is happy with the situation of things in Nigeria, “we must seek for peaceful ways of resolving the issues.”
He spoke further that the restoration of Biafra was a tall order due to the numerous constitutional roadblocks, finalizing by saying that the agitations will not be in the overall interest of Igbos and their political relationships with other regions of the country.
He also advised youths, that in as much as they were protesting being marginalized, they should tone down the words and hate speech. http://politicsngr.com/2017/10/06/igbos-forget-biafra-focus-restructuring-ohanaeze/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44 Hmmmn.. |

Like I mentioned, the fact that you reside in Ekiti & you apparently don't see anything wrong in such practice by your governor, I rest my case. Go and indict him in a court of law! |

omooba969: You live in Ekiti & don't see anything wrong in such practice by your governor, I certainly cannot win this argument.
I rest my case. It's better to rest your case because it's immoral to see good and call it black. If you're informed enough, you'll know that today's is world's teacher's day, and it's commendable celebrating them. |

omooba969: Have you tried to examine the legality of his actions?
What's wrong with Nigerians sef? What legality of actions.... I stay in Ekiti, and I see it. Everyone here knows he prioritizes teachers. So na campaign he dey wait for each tym he does good. it is not every time that criticism is spot on. At least this isn't the only thing he's doing, so why should meaning be read to every good gesture. And if it's even campaign, he has the right to contest for anything. But this isn't new in Ekiti in his govt. |

baddosky1: That was how i went for an event in 2015 with some of my former colleagues at transcorp. It was a dinner event hosted by one of the ministries. They served various types of wine on the table where guests were seated. There was this muslim guy called wakiri sitting on our table. When it was time to eat and they opened one of the wines, the useless Wakiri said he is not drinking. I asked him why and he said "it is haram"...i was like dude...white wine with 0.05% alcoholic content haram? I later got to know from another colleague that the idiot usually puts burukutu in that smelly kettle which he uses to "pray" and drinks it secretly. Lolzz... hypocrisy |

richiepolymer: Are you guys sure you want to read my own experiences? Hmm......I've had more than 10 traumatic experiences but let me choose one to share.
Way back , when I was in SS3 about to write my SSCE. I remember I and my cousin went to a midweek all night church service somewhere distant from home. Preparation for the SSCE exam was in high gear and we couldn't afford to miss any revision class. At about past 12:00am I told my cousin we had to leave and go ho.e so we could make it to class later that nor ing else we would be late and the punishment unthinkable. As we made to leave, our next compound neighbour with whom we share same fence, a prince in the town noticed and joined us to go home. Seems he had been waiting for an opportunity to go home too. We were happy he joined us because he would help us all through the vigilante road blocks since he is a prince. Just as we were walking along the road were the general hospital morgue was, suddenly something appeared before the three of us.....glowing, in a white long dress with hair very close to the ground with a smaller being just like a kid in the same appearance. I remember the thing saying "hey we have met again" with arms spread out. Guys! The elderly man (prince) took off into the darkness, my cousin took off also, I just quietly froze and tiptoed away from their path. I felt my blood turn to ice that night. My head was heavy like it was filled with dead weight. I turned back if I could see anything. I didn't see a damn thing! When I later caught up with my cousin and the neighbour, I met them panting and asking what the thing was. How was I supposed to know? Imagine the agbaiya man asking me what it was. We couldn't sleep till daybreak. It wasn't hard to notice us in class that all wasn't well. Our countenance was dull. And one classmate asked why we were behaving as if we had seen a ghost. The way we turned and looked at the guy enh? Hahahaha. So when people with fixated beliefs about this world say all sorts, I just smile. If you haven't had first experience on some of these spooky stuff you may not believe let Aline understand. Chai... sorry... real horror film....pls. tell us one or two more. God bless you. |

Izen: Virtually every guy I've met claim that they will love their mothers than their wife including my brother. Even my mom had to caution him. I once told a guy that was on my case that I can't be with a man like that and he stopped pursuing after then. Dude said he can't deal and I respected his view. Personally, it is unacceptable to me because I plan to love my husband than my dad. Well, I'm not one of them. My own be say if anyone misbehaves (mother or wife) I will put them in their place... lolz....but all na wisdom. Personally, I detest anyone who is a bad influence, and that's why I don't get too close to elders. Because the day they'll ask something difficult from you, you may not have the strength to turn them down. May God sha help us marry good wives and husbands. |

DONLEKAN: My brother, I choose to follow you on the basis of this your comment. Some women fail to use their brains. They complicate their lives only to run around claiming men are evil. Is it rocket science for a woman to know she needs to create time for her man. We are all praying to outlive our parents. After your mum is gone (hopefully in her old age), is that when you will expect the man you have abandoned over the years to create time for you and make you his all-in-all?. Abi nau |
Family › Re: How Often Should A Wife Call Her Mother? by sharpwriter(m): 10:07pm On Sep 28, 2017 |
TheArchangel: For her to be calling her mother often means that you are not her close confidant. You lack that basic skill to be her confidant, little wonder she is confiding in her mum instead. That's not true, dont blame the young man. Some ladies are just foolish and still live in children's world. I have dated a lady before that told me that she will love her mother more than her husband. Now, do you think that such a lady will listen to the husband's advice over her mother's? Woe betide the man if the lady's mother is a bad one, because she will be a bad influence on her daughter, and from observation, girls like this seldom have a mind of their own. They are easily influenced to act foolishly by mother or friends. Mind you, I am not against the friendliness of a man or woman with their mothers, but they should know that an adult is an adult and things should be done moderately. |
