Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze Replies Pastor Adeboye’s Response To His Teachings On Tithing by sharpwriter(m): 12:24pm On Nov 07, 2017
martineverest:
u made my day
Don't mind me my brother. I too go to redeemed , but I have grown above all those doctrines. The day that understanding hit me was the day I knew it is not easy to have faith or believe in the words of God. It takes force and might to believe in God's words over the voice of man, because we dont see God physically. For example, if Christians were to debate the issue of wine as an alcoholic drink, then you will know that another Hurricane has come. But I observed that God is wise and has used little things to make the wise foolish, so that nobody will claim any glory. That is why, even when we think we know, we really dont know, because there will always be a superior knowledge to what we pride in. Nd that is why we need to bow to the truth when we see it, so that we can remain humble.
Christianity Etc › Re: Daddy Freeze Replies Pastor Adeboye’s Response To His Teachings On Tithing by sharpwriter(m): 11:05am On Nov 07, 2017
mhizesther:
Why is this an issue sef, No one is forcing any one to pay. If u want to pay it tithe, PAY IT!!! And if you are not interested. KEEP your money.. it's not a do or die affair.. Everyone is just shouting "Tithe oo" U ppl should leave us alone jare
My dear it is an issue. God is greater than all men of God. Let us be sincere. He has quoted the scriptures. The problem is that many Christians dont read the bible, and even wen they read, the voice from the pulpit ushers threat to people to bring them to subjugation. In the things of God, it is rare for a servant to be hundred percent right (perfection wasn't even found in Elijah). However, the issue is that it is being made a law in the church. You have said right that let anyone that wants to pay, pay. But those who are not paying should not be intimidated as ''BEING ROBBING GOD.'' No, they are not. It is good to give even all yu have to God, but more important to know that you paid nothing and your tithe wasn't relevant in the day that you received Jesus which earned you salvation. If you argue, I will give you an assignment to Go and read Malachi that is being used often from chapter 1, and you will know that those commandments was written to the levites and priests in the service of the Lord before it even addresses the whole congregation of Israel. If the service of the priests are condemnable, the offerings and tithes of the nation of Israel wont be accepted. Malachi 3:10 wasnt given by Jesus or the apostles anywhere as a commandment. Anyone that wants to give should give willingly, but non givers should not be made as a sinner.

I took my time to read the whole thread. The impression delivered here from US-based Nigerians is that they have it all good, then who are the Nigerians that are actually illegals and suffering there?

Does that mean that Nigerians are immune to the inescapable challenges immigrant faces? I live in the Netherlands and I can tell you absolutely that MOST Nigerians here don't have it good. The contention of this thread is not to feel better than everyone but, to tell the truth how it really is, doesn't kill you at all.
Good, but there's a baffling question that fuels these arguments and contentions mostly, and it is: when you people see that it's not all that rosy over there, WHY DIDN'T YOU PEOPLE RETURN HOME, INCLUDING YOU?

It doesnt matter how hard you try to twist the topic, the simple fact remaina. Nigerians in America are broke, not just broke but dead broke.

Back then when we had brave men who could stand for the people against the government of the day not the cowards and weakling we have now.

YOU WOULD ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED
Very true, and one of the tins that has bred weaklings now is MONEY. Government can easily buy off an activist these days, and he will forget about the people's cause. This is one of the things that weakened our NLC (Nigeria Labor Congress).

This headline is misleading. Germany will not pay anyone anything for over production. They will only not charge you for the period d excess last which is very negligible. Same thing happened in 2015. I live in Germany so I know this is fake news
Good to know. Bros, how can I make it as an immigrant to Germany? Your tutored response will be appreciated. Thanks.
