InvertedHammer: / Who cares?
In less than 1 month, there seems to be a semblance of someone in-charge. Under GEJ and Buhari, firing incompetent people in office seemed like a rocket science.
For one, Tinubu has been taking decisive actions. Everything is not about politics. However I would have preferred if his mandate is not questionable.
Call it Yorubanization or whatever. During OBJ's tenure, Igbo people were everywhere in that government yet their impacts were not felt in their region. From Finance Minister, CBN Governor, Senate President, Chief of Staff to Heads of Parastatals. Buhari came with his family to the Presidency and the North still remains the epicenter of poverty in Nigeria.
I think at this time everyone should be clamouring for whatever or whoever can get the country out of shit-hole. Heck! I will support a credible monkey if it can salvage Nigeria.
/ me too I would have preferred if his mandate was not questionable too, I see that he is definitely more proactive than buhari by far and he is not naive about governance, but the sour taste of how the election was conducted just makes it hard for me to be a fan honestly. |

sreamsense: Do you expect it to have glitches before? What will be the essence of security measures INEC engineers put in place to secure AWS server? INEC engineer will tell you they resist attacks against the server from their end. And can you even defend internet connectivity issues from device users? LP can't prove this, they are only wasting time. By the time the engineer is crossed examine now, he may make LP feel like mumu the same internet connectivity that enabled national assembly elections results to be uploaded same day, but not the presidential result, SMH. |

By the way, Seems NW and SW are dominating everywhere with SS giving them a wild impressive chase. Others should come on board as healthy and fair competitions is needed in all sectors when you say others should come on board as healthy and fair competition " I believe the supreme court appointment process is heavily political, the fact the north has so many numbers tell you that, can we say they produce the most intelligent lawyers, the fact that the south south and south east are not adequately represented to me seems like deliberate marginalization. Dbegining: It's almost amazing that Nigerians are praising Tinubu for wanting to put his own people in high positions in the country. I mean, it's a new president, he will definitely form a government with 99% new people.
And I give it to the APC media/propaganda team. They are working really hard. Buhari had very little media influence but this guys are taking hold of the media.
That's the difference between a Hausa and Yoruba government. I always wonder when he is being praised for removing emefiele, bawa and others, those positions are sensitive positions every leader would want to have their own loyal men who can cover their misdeed, the suspension of emefiele may or may not be motivated by national interest, as with bawa's. |

GEPI led the fight against polio in Africa… With the support of MANY donors and governments, including the Gates Foundation.
He deserves our collective gratitude nonetheless… Not just for what he’s done but also serving as an example to others. > it hurts when we are unappreciative, 👍 for the correction. |

We need new crops of people in our institutions , agencies and parastatals new crops my ass, while the efcc chairman suspension is expected, the battle in Nigeria is not against oppresions but who gets to be the oppressor in charge, tinubu is just gonna appoint his own loyalist, everyone knows the efcc is a very sensitive institution and bawa is obviously not from the tinubu's camp, would he fire the DSS chief? Who under his watch no actionable intelligence or effort has been made in the fight against terrorism, was it not the same DSS boss who invaded the national assembly and the federal high court some time ago, why has tinubu not fire him? Guess why? He is an asiwaju supporter, what about Mahmood yakubu who conducted a poor, manipulated election that brought in tinubu, will he be investigated and fired, even if a new efcc boss is being assigned I assure you his job won't be to fight corruption at least not tinubu's boys, akbapio who has a case with the efcc is now the Senate president, even zamfara state and Kano state former gov still have cases with efcc will all this folks be given the same emefiele treatment? No politics of bitterness you can see the them now it is not even about subsidy removal, it is about the right to engage in constructively criticizing the tinubu's administration without being tagged, bitter, or wailer, IPOB or one of these nonsense that tinubu's supporters usually use to hide from the reality, because if you guys really believe in Nigeria you would agree that the govt has being below par and deserve to be criticized, but you guys always act as a body sheild even against the e fight against corrupt politicians which is just shameful, I remember how you guys wholeheartedly stood against criticism of the buhari's govt, you supported Nigeria Air even when it was very obvious that it was a scam. Seyi having a series of meetings with young elected lawmakers is quite remarkable, this family is really prepared for the tasks ahead. Rather than learn to play politics that transcends clannish mindset that has kept you in the wilderness since 1999. With the way Seyi is buijding bridges across party, religious and tribal lines, i won't be surprised if he clinches the Presidential seat before a southeastern does. seyi tinubu has no legal right, it is unethical for the president's family to be involved in this govt there must be a level of professionalism, if your father is a CEO can you just walk into board meeting or be having meeting with top executives when you are not an employee. |

lhordspy: This report is commendable. I love the way Sowore highlighted everyone allegedly involve one way or the other.
The most baffling thing is that this same Emefele was the key tool used in the embezzlement of national funds by the likes of D!ezani, Dasuk!, and the rest of Jonathan's administration corrupt folks.
Yet , Baba Buhari, a supposedly man of integrity. Who rode on the Anti-corruption attributes to power; - Not only retained Emefele after coming to power but also renewed his contract afterward. Not only that, he gave him the power to run the country economy into ground; nonchalantly and recklessly. He took the rate from N167-N764 per dollar. To add more pepper, he declared his intention to run for president, he was also going around with military personells and armour tanks as personal security to evade justice. A god status.
I dont think Buhari is an accomplice. I choose to believe he was hypnotised, misled, uninformed or something. Because everything feels wrong here. Something that only exist in horror stories. just read what you just wrote "buhari was hypnotized" you guys keep lying to yourselves buhari was the head huncho just because you don't have the balls to call him out and tinubu doesn't have the balls to go after others, emefiele is being used as the scape goat in all this |
