@Timmy 7 : word you have there but its a well known fact that words translated to from one language to the other always leads to different contest and also different people and dialects have different ways of reading meanings to it. Also just like you said only the non yorubas would be confused or translate it the way i just did, hmmm only the non yorubas? Do you know that the bible was translated from Aramaic to English by a German ? LOL, you are on the internet so maybe you could do a search on it as well , correct me if am wrong though?About the original contest thingy, i give credits to the muslims really because the scripts are never edited meanings are never changed and it remains original just like the Islamic date, constantine invented the 12 hr time and days of the week plus months right ? |
@temmytanny: when u use the word Allah, i dont know if its mockery or your are being serious but then Allah is just like saying edumare or olurun in yoruba also chineke in Igbo and its just an arabic word for God and in English God, Do you know that the mother tongue of Jesus (Aramaic) i bet you dont know what God is in Jesus's mother tongue, funny its E'llah pronounced eillah as also Allah in arabic also in Jewish Eloah, so if you are a christian i dont suggest you make fun of the word Allah, But then you might not know, first of all google the language of Jesus then Google what God means is in that language, Am not here to argue really just to separate facts for false though, |
I think what the poster is trying to say is Learning the original language of the bible and getting a copy of the original would really help understand the religion instead of the already edited or translated one. I kind of see a point in that because some translations really changes contest for example: Eku ijoko in yoruba can be well done for sitting down, some would say is simply means hello or some would say it means greetings for sitting down, same if you would say tsanu da zuwa in hausa it could mean sorry for coming or welcome , the poster does have a point o. Point of correction, hebrew is not the original language of the bible its 'Aramic'. Watch the movie passion of christ, thats the language spoken in there, Jesus's mother tongue is also Aramic! You guys should also learn to argue by given points, instead of making fun of your selves and which ever religion , If you dont have answers to question then just say it, simple, |
People truly get the leaders they deserve. Kano is known for going backwards instead of foward dont know why ?? People are advancing foward but the people of that town have just refused and have sworn to remain archaic just take a look at the town for instance , sighs, hmmm, If junior Abacha wants to rule kano , lol, good luck to him i mean them , lol probably Sadam Juniour would rule Iraq some day or the kids were both killed werent they?? sighs, ![]() |
solution = dump her ass ? ![]() |
@poster: you really should consider being a writer, No wonder your boss didnt fire you. You worth more to the company than u think! Interesting story i must say i got glued and at some point could imagine everything as it happened, definately wouldnt go near bellview, tnx |
GF material is that girl in skimpy clothes i want to get high with in the club while wife material is that girl i would probably meet at a picnic or dinner party, decently dressed and doesnt need you to pay her bills , lol, |
i presently just got posted to kano. Its a funny place to leave though verrryyyy boring with a lot of hypocrytes, very few hang out joints though nothing to write home about, sabon Gari is just a large beer parlour, with hawkers to view. Also the indigenes dont know much but very arrogant, okada ryders own the dirty streets and dont follow traffic rules. You would have to wear caftan to be respected where ever you go. If u dont mind work and going home and at the right price then you would be ok but never expect to see cool clubs or nice bars only form of hangout joint is the numerous lebanese food joints, lol, If you can work in Kano and travel every weekend then you would be fine. Northern region ? i personally recommend Kaduna or Abuja, |
i think i would stay on a long queue for hours in the hot sun to vote for a man like Ribadu for Nigerian president, considering the position he held, he would have been one of the wealthiest man in Nigerian but truth be told, he is a good person, thats my opinion though |

Once upon a time , i had 2 different Ghanaians as lesson teachers. Now Nigerians go to Ghana in search of jobs, companies are relocating to Ghana due to better infrastructure, Dear God where have my people done wrong? Dear God please answer these prayers below; - Please God let Nigerians love one another - Dear God please let Nigerians learn to stop throwing waste bags/polythene, pure water, ground nut, orange peels, on their streets or from moving vehicles. - Dear God please let Nigerians learn to stop accepting bribes - Dear God please let Nigerians learn to stop blaming government for their failures and realize that its people make the leaders. - Dear God please let Nigerians realize that its not about oppressing their neighbors but impressing the neighbors. - Dear God please let Nigerians learn that cheating in exams in simply cheating yourselves of the already deprived knowledge - Dear God please let Nigerians realize that wealth is only achieved through hard work and unique thoughts. - Dear God Please let our females realize that their intuition and brains would give them wealth rather than the norm or married men (runs). - Dear God please let our people forget about tribes and judge people by attitude and talent. - Dear God please let our people realize that if everyone came out and cleaned the entrance of their houses, our streets would be cleaner and we would be free of germs, mosquitoes and most common diseases. - Dear God please let our people realize that we have 100 problems, 99 of which is us as individuals and 1 which is the leadership. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN ![]() |

@wirinet your name sounds NIGERIAN, lol I guess financial related crime isnt a big deal to you right? Financial related crimes is responsible for the mess we have found ourselves in today. If it werent for financial related crimes, we wouldnt have so many Nigerians moving to the U.K. Am truely Nigerian thats what gets me upset about this, cos alot of Nigerians have given us the bad names and the treatment we get when we travel out. Our pride and denial cannot solve the problem. I guess a bad road can be fixed if only the passers agree that it is bad, if we dont agree that we ve got a problem i guess we would live like this forever. All am doing is admitting that we have got issues not only leadership but as individuals. Have you ever asked yourself this questions; 1) Wont our streets be clean if we dont throw trash from moving vehicles (Pure water bags, banana peels, oranges, icecream bags etc) 2) If everybody cleaned their gate entrances, wouldnt our streets be clean 3) Why do we always jump queus, be it fuel scarcity, hold ups, or queues in banks? 4) How many paid NEPA/PHCN bills even when we had electricity? It goes on and on, We would rather point fingers than check ourselves, |
congoshine: honeric01:Lol, when a Nigerian thinks and talks like this i wonder where we are going to ? The case of a blind driver driving blind passengers! This person says in quote 'DO NOT SLEEP TONIGHT HENCE YOU WONT WAKE UP TOMORROW' and you condemn negativity. Isnt that a negative statement, Practice what u preach mr |
@congoshine I read through the thread from page 1 and am not even sure i was reply to any of your suggestions, like i read through the pages i would suggest you read my response again. I support the idea of building a prison in Naija. I do not think at this point the British owe us anything. All am asking is if they are considering building a prison in Nigeria then it simply means there are sooooo many Nigerian prisoner in England (False assylum seekers, fraudstars aka yahoo yahoo boys, rapists, killers, armed robbers). Critically looking at this : it just means the British arent the problem, we Nigerians are the problems! If you were British am sure you would not want the so called criminals in your country! I dont blame them at all, its their country and they have the right to protect it, if we had soo many lebanese in our prisons today am damn sure you all would agree to building prisons in lebanon and sending them right back to their country. Like they say one bad egg spoils the rest! |
Nigerians! we are a funny bunch of people. We say our leaders/government is our problem. Now even as Nigerians have gone to a country with good leadership, our people are running them out of Prison space. If the British is considering building a prison in Nigeria, dont you guys think its because our people are committing soo much crime over there. Are we cursed people? or what? Some people are ignorantly saying they should be building schools, industries in Nigeria instead of building jails. I laugh out loud at that one, Why are they compelled to build schools for us, Do they owe us money or what? Bunch of lazy people, imagine someone saying they should be building schools and industries in Nigeria (shoo na dem be our papa and mama?) At this point we should be worrying about the fact that we might just have criminal minds by default even if put in land of milk and honey! |
lol, in the I.T world we call this REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTION, |
truth be told, sadly am afraid martass is RIGHT |
yup, yup some igbo boys are cool, except they can hardly get rid of the accent when speaking English. So they can be cool as long as they do not open their mouth ![]() |
face off entrapment coming to america the rock braveheart blue streak |
First kiss for me was magical, pure innocent love, no materialism, no fronting, pure love. Too bad we dont see that around again |
lol, he can come back if he likes, for sure kano state people would vote him in. Cos they are the most gullible people in Nigeria. All you have to do is use religion to mobilise them. Lived in kaduna for a while now in kano, damn the state and people is something else, pathetic. But thats where it ends, he might probably win kano but thats where it stops! lol, Abacha, lol |
@tkb417 read, think and understand before responding to thread MUZBO is right. It must not be a muslim/christian thing dude. look at the thread, it was talking about a christian program in eagle square. Nairalanders are getting tired of muslim vs christian religious aquisations, religious extremism is one of the reason we are still backward today, these arguments dont make sense anymore. Try to be unbiased and objective dude. It would go a long way. I hope you dont see this as some form of attack but if u do, sorry in advance but truth be told. ![]() |
beating and oppressed, some dudes here are happy. Same dudes will come and complain about Nigeria. Their are ways to handle such cases, not by half baked semi illiterates using theif position to get security agents to bit people. violence is almost the solution to most things here, God help u all. |
@eddy1977, lol, God forbid i marry a liability. If we are to be equal as they claim then we both have to get our asses to work and bring back home , lol |
saying XP is better that vista is like saying the old regular mercedes benz v boot is better than C class C500, lol, how can that be? |
People just dont like change, took me a while to accept vista as well. Truth be told, it is a lot easier to administer that is from an administrators point of view. Eg: connecting to wireless networks, etc alot of auto config compared to the manual ways in XP plus talking about virus, for now its the safest as it is hard for programs to run in the background. Just get yourself a device with very good memory thats all! |
without being biased, throwing sentiments away! They have posted the truth! Think about this? If you as a Nigerian lived in the U.S and your son, daughter or wife decides to visist Lagos (Naija) for the first time wouldnt you give such advices or even worse. The truth is the truth lets just face it and deal with it! |
Most people slandering El-Rufai do not live in Abuja most definately, i advice most of you (lagos habitants) do your assignments when it comes to other parts of the country and not just use lagos and rumours to judge. Abuja as most of us that live here know that: sanity, development, infastructure, beauty, was built into Abuja by El-Rufai. People who didnt appreciate him then ,do now especially with the present minster of FCT who has been as quite as Yaradua and has literarily been doing nothing. El-Rufai as far as am concerned and as a habitant of Abuja is the best thing to happen to Abuja, we would just wait till something better comes. |
Irony, women would claim equality most times when it comes to hard labour/choir they would say men should lead, but when it comes to nice stuffs it becomes ladies first ![]() Anyways i dont know who is more intelligent, but then the artist has made his painting the way he wants it to be? But wait a minuit its your opinion though? whatever u feel? like men would always do ? we tell you what u want to hear it always make y'all happy even if is not the truth, You women are more intelligent than men, lol, Are u happy now ?, lol ![]() |
HOW ABOUT IF U HAD 3 GIRLS AND 9 GUYS A) SMART BUT NOT TESTED IN BED B) VERY PRETTY SLUT C) COOKS WELL, CLEANS, TAKES GOOD CARE OF THE HOUSE BUT NOT GOOD IN BED. FOR A WIFEY, DAMN THIS IS A TOUGH ONE, but come to think of it, what do u call a female player ![]() nah, will go for A any day! |
? LOL, you are on the internet so maybe you could do a search on it as well , correct me if am wrong though?
