With all these next level figures, I can now see that our people are just deceiving the world that they are suffering under Buhari ![]() |
Olodo24: You are right but life was different years ago. Nigerians were even way more conservative than now and I agree, mostly hypocrites. There was even this funny advert on NTA back in the days where someone was asking 'Who get this condom, who get this raincoat!'. That should give you a good perspective on the context. |
tnerro1:Yes most women are wicked in this situation. You try to whisper your order as a gentle boy they will shout in response 'We no get gold circle anymore, but we get blah blah blah!'. Embarrassment. |

javaguru:Yes local league is different from international matches. Since all these years at the topmost level: C Ronaldo - 102 goals for Portugal (168 matches) - 60.7% Messi - 71 goals for Argentina (140 matches) - 50.7% Yekini - 37 goals for Nigerian (58 matches) - 63.8% Countries in Europe & South America play more matches than those in Africa and it was even worse during the days of Yekini. They played very few matches a year. |

November1857:I understand your frustration. However, you missed the last sentence "ISLAM is already firmly in the South East and has been there for ages." The challenge is to find a way forward and part of it is what the Bishop addressed. |
GodHatesBigots:Thank you for your maturity. We need more of your type here. |
GodHatesBigots:Who is WE? Is this a constitutional statement? ISLAM is already firmly in the South East and has been there for ages. |
I see nothing wrong in this preaching. These are issues that we need to address. The attacks should be investigated and culprits prosecuted but has nothing to do with the preacher simply doing his job - to speak the truth! |

They opposed Adesina. Now they oppose Okonjo-Iweala. Nigerians Unite! Nobody outside your border gives a damn about your local bushman tribalism and ethnicism. All they see is N-I-G-E-R-I-A. Deal with it and make it work for motherland Africa. |

PDP thieves, Nigerian youths are not fighting for you. They still remember your 16 years rule. This is about changing the system currently led by both APC and PDP across the 36 states. Do not hijack it!!! |
How can anybody call most of these items palliatives? ![]() |
Where is our tractor? ![]() |
lastchild:It depends on what you mean by 'everybody'. The myopic may have forgotten already but many still remember. Mark my words, many will write exactly what you have written here about Buhari in 2028. The only person I appreciate is Madam Patience, not for the looting but for the entertainment. I miss her! |
Reminds me of Obasanjo and his works outside Nigeria in recognition of his role in 1979. They always look good outside. |

I hereby name him Palliativinho. |
Can you imagine? The federal government gave each state money to ease the effect of the pandemic. Most never mentioned it just like they do with a chunk of their federal allocations especially their huge security (allocation) votes. The private sector coalitions distributed palliatives to the people of Nigeria, no obstruction or hijacking by our supposed enemy Buhari. They stored them in their warehouses? Again, when are we going to stop deceiving each other in Nigeria? If the state governments are truly on the side of the people and make collective unequivocal demands on the needs of their people, there is nothing Abuja can do to stop them and they are already backed by the constitution. |
See that yeye man carrying TV looking like 'Ah ah, na just one I carry now!' ![]() |
lagonovo:This is a major problem with our people. We love inflicting pains on each other and we don't give a damn about accountability and citizen responsibility. US Dollar to Naira will go up and groundnut seller will increase price - is he importing groundnut from Chicago?? Newsflash Nigerians young and old - the leaders and the government are all from your hoods! You are the government. *A friend wanted to contest election not too long ago, his fellow youths billed him, the women group billed him, the party elders billed him... even his neighbors billed him and it's pay or forget it. Yet they know that this is a trusted man with excellent track record of community oriented activities all his life. Still he didn't win because someone paid more during the main election. Now you are blaming government for the fruits of your electoral and citizenship 'labour'? Most of your elected officials only did business with you and they are more concerned about their dividends. When are we going to be honest with each other? |
We never fought for independence so we took it for granted & we adopted a self-centered approach greedily amassing wealth & living 'I better pass my neighbor' life. The youths mocked the struggles of the older generation against the military especially the one that led to this 21 years of democracy because they did not know any better. There were lots of bloodshed! Now the full cycle is complete! We are now all on the same page - everything is for a reason and life is not known to be fair. The sleeping giant is awake. It is never going to be easy and narrow-mindedness based on religion, ethnicity, status won't stop it - be watchful and move with sense but keep moving even when you momentarily retreat back home... move online as always. Do not encourage hoodlums & looters. Do not live in denial, hoodlums and looters have been hijacking protests in Nigeria since the 70s - plan on how to mitigate it when the next round of protests starts. This is the time! |
Forwarded: TIME TO ACT IS NOW! No more dilly dallying. Police Reform - Timeline https://www.hrw.org/news/2005/08/22/nigeria-obasanjo-confirms-torture-killing-police Obasanjo Confirms Torture, Killing by Police "August 22, 2005 - In an official statement from the Minister of Information on July 27, the Nigerian government initially denied that police torture is routine and stated that all cases are investigated and prosecuted. However, Human Rights Watch’s research shows that no officer who has committed torture has been held to account since Obasanjo came to power in 1999. On numerous occasions, Human Rights Watch has asked the police for details of all officers being investigated and prosecuted for alleged human rights abuses. PropaMan:Your first paragraph is ignorant and unnecessary. The second is on point. Always stick with issues, don't generalize. The older generation that you just insulted protested & died in large numbers under ruthless military regimes when military dictatorship was common across Africa and beyond. There was no internet and the media got brutalized for telling their stories, many died - calm down & think about that for a minute. The older generation battled Babangida/Abacha regime and made Nigeria practically ungovernable between 1993 and 1998. All those struggles gave birth to the 21 years of democracy that we now take for granted. The older generation in independent Nigeria never witnessed 4 years of peace in a democracy & never had more than two back to back elections! Kudos to everyone involved and to the relentless fighters who never stop fighting for Nigeria!!!! |
We are getting somewhere and we are all seeing the undeniable truth - Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria. We can all make it right from the individual family units and also with these laudable agitations. Uncivilized activities thrive when covered up - when the awareness level is high and every animalistic before is met with publicity & wide condemnation then it's just a matter of time. |
