SaiAtikuTill203:See confused man oooo. You expect all all these from Thief Atiku when he is not Sowore? ![]() |
SaiAtikuTill203: Why are you mad though? He connived with the congressman to steal so what's the problem with two thieves meeting again? |
Atiku to hold meeting with his fellow thief, jailed congressman William Jefferson . |
Atiku actually arrived in the US not too long ago. Confirmed. Won't change the fact that he is a thief though and no sale of NNPC to him and his friends lailai ![]() |
GEJ started this Delta campaign, Buhari only completed it. |
Iko5000:Then enlighten us with the facts. Which one is longer and where? |
963AvatarSpirit: You are both wrong! Yoruba is an ethnic group with several sub-ethnic groups... not a tribe, not a race. |
zombieTRACKER:E tire me the way they are defending Thief Atiku and atikulating all over the place ![]() |
Babtee1010: Sorry, nice attempt but not happening. Find another reality show. |
Nice one - dem wan take Baba do reality show come begin dey yab their ancestor online. Lailai! |
Edojoma:It is Brazil vs Argentina thing and also the small matter of race - this is deeper than what you see on the surface. Pele criticising Messi is childsplay compared to the Argies opinion on Pele being the king of football. This issue is bigger than Messi. This became huge with someone who actually won the world cup - Diego Maradona and even to a lesser & unrealistic extent before him, Mario Kempes. Pele is only dishing it back raw ![]() |
fredylee:He played two matches at that world cup. https://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/round=231/match=1461/index.html#nosticky Match report for Matchday 1 Group 3 - Brazil vs Mexico (2-0) at Estadio Sausalito, Vina Del, Chile on May 30, 1962 Goalscorers - Zagallo 56', Pele 73' https://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/round=231/match=1462/index.html#nosticky Matchday 2 Group 3 vs Czechoslovakia (0-0) on June 2, 1962 - check the starting line-up. |
Gundel001:1958 - Rookie year, youngest ever world cup player at that time. Star performer in the semi-final and final match. Awarded best young player of the tournament and 2nd best player behind Didi. 1962 - Arrived rated as the best player in the world. He was best player & highest goalscorer at the South American championship. Played just two matches in the world cup due to injury but clearly the star of the team. Mane Garrincha stepped up after his injury. 1970 - Best player. Star performer. For good measure, Tarcisio Burgnich, the defender who marked Pele in the final, said, "I told myself before the game, he's made of skin and bones just like everyone else. But I was wrong." ![]() |
Gundel001:I hear that a lot but I can't argue with, not 1 but 3 world cup trophies. Before you say it's Brazil, Brazil had 0 world title until a man called Pele arrived the scene. By 1970 they had 3 world titles still with Pele and they didn't win their next title until 24 years later ![]() |
ofuonyebi:I disagree with you. Modern defenders are actually considered timid compared with defenders of Pele's time. Referees are more protective today. In fact Pele arrived injured at his first world cup in 1958, he was also injured during 1962 world cup though self inflicted. World cup 1966 was horrible for him as he was subjected to the most brutal of tackles by the Bulgarian and Portuguese defenders to the extent of announcing that he won't be part of any future world cups, though he later rescinded his decision. |
thorpido:Adriano's is an unfortunate story - everything went downhill after he lost his father. |
Cowards who stand for nothing and are only concerned about their next plate of akpu or amala will sit down in their miserable corner with their cellphone and be condemning someone who has lived all his life fighting for the voiceless. If you are better than Sowore pls come out and fight for something. We will recognise you and we will support you as long as you are not fighting a sectional battle. Sowore we know, who are you?? |
Na lie. This project was initiated by Aguiyi Ironsi ![]() |
deolu2000:So true. Even thief Atiku is not just roaming freely, he is actually contesting for presidency ![]() |
Togetherness issa goal |
When you are invited by the constitutionally recognized law enforcement in any country you don't use that opportunity to start practicing your acting skills to fool the simpletons, you contact your lawyer and report to their station. Your drama or your audience won't help you. The likes of Fela Kuti, Gani Fawehinmi, Beko Kuti, Olisa Agbakoba, Femi Falana, Olusegun Maiyegun, Sowore have done this under ruthless military regimes as real men, no drama and even Fayose have done this recently (In Fayose's case, despite diversionary claims of political witch-hunt). What are you trying to hide? What are you running from? What's your gameplan? You hide for weeks, months & just expect the police to forget about it? You are a senator and you can afford to hire SANs to defend you. Regular folks have issues & resolve it every day at police stations across Nigeria. Why should your case be different? APC or not, when police invite you, you report to them. |
BrutusOj:... and that explains in one sentence the reason why you are not an employer ![]() |
It is not going to be easy but it is a complex that could be tamed. You need to go easy on yourself. You think everything is all about you and you scrutinize everything you do or that was done against you. Your first major challenge is to start trivializing everything, they are not that important and life is too short to keep holding on to every moment in the past - you simply don't have enough time on earth for that. Do not live for the past, live for the future. Let go! It's not easy, but always remind yourself and be your own number 1 clown. Laugh at your own mistakes and tell yourself 'I cannot come and go and kill myself jo!'. Make excuses for people whether they apologize or not. Be their invisible lawyer and defend them in your mind. It will free you. You will master it in no time and become totally relaxed - then you start enjoying life. |
Joromi12:Your nation has been in crisis with no direction and so many brilliant generations wasted before and after independence in 1960 and your primary concern is who is civil? This is how they fool you and keep you in slavery. They say what you want to hear and act like noble people on the outside but they are worse than common street urchins when they start looting and grabbing resources meant to build a great nation behind closed doors. When are you guys ever going to wake up and focus on the major instead of majoring on the minor?? |
oluwaahmed:You are thinking tribe because of the failure of government. In a society that works, people don't even notice things like that except the politicians themselves scrambling for influence. You wake up and go about your business, the roads are good, the police are doing their job, you pay your tax and you see the result. Who cares about the tribe of the person earning his own paycheck as president, governor or local chairman?? |
Mk17:Yes, a long and tortuous rebuild process that may take several years and enrich the master planners since it's federal contract ![]() |
With this embarrassing call by the learned Chief Afe Babalola, I feel Nigerians need to be enlightened about the cost implication of changing the name of any institution not to talk of an established university. If you need to immortalize people through the education sector, you can always build a center of excellence in one of our existing universities and name it after the individual. Isn't this a great opportunity to build a healthcare research center at the University of Abuja named after Shehu Shagari? With that, our president, presidential aspirants, wives of presidents, ex-presidents etc won't have to go and die in foreign hospitals anymore. That's just one of several positives things we could do without name change that comes with huge costs in changing names on certificates, transcripts, billboards, buildings, stationery, vehicles, equipment, lab tools, numerous bank documents etc etc. |
awelekiti:Watch her go bunkers when UNN is renamed Bola Tinubu University Nsukka (Greatest BOTUNs) ![]() |
Mk17:... what if that's the gameplan? Who will be the loser? (Totally unlikely scenario, just making us think) |
jrusky:Read the article again and pay attention to 'Afe Babalola'. What are you guys smoking self or you can't read simple English again? WAEC why? ![]() |
fergie001:UNILAG people were saying the same thing until GEJ came for them - that's a university specially created with an act of the federal parliament ![]() Just watch out for Olusegun Obasanjo University Ibadan (former University of Ibadan) in the near future and be ready to fight, mark my words! UNN can't be changed. It speaks for itself - University of Nigeria (One Nation), Nsukka. |
