They don't need to attend your local church to grow, there are other churches where they can do that..

Even John the baptist of the Law and the prophets knew what it meant to bear fruits. He said to the Pharisees:

Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

So the fruits in question are the good fruits (proof) of true repentance, in other words, evidence to show that one has truly repented, hence it's if one doesn't have such evidence or the good fruits (proof) of true repentance that the axe would be laid to the root of that tree to bring it down and it would be cast into the fire, which is an illustration of eternal damnation.

But what are these good fruits one needs to bear so as not to suffer such a fate?

And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?

And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

So according to John the Baptist, it has to do with the works of righteousness and obedience of God's Word.

This aligned with Christ's parable of the sower where the seed which is the Word of God is sown into people's heart, and it's when they keep the Word that they are said to have borne fruits.

Luke 8:11 (KJV)

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Luke 8:15 (KJV)

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

So as you can see, bearing fruits had nothing to do with growth of church membership but the spiritual growth of an individual, which is evidenced by the works of righteousness and obedience of God's Word.

Hence one can still be having strong church membership growth and yet not be bearing fruits according to what it actually means to bear fruits, because the person is a worker of iniquity and not keeping God's Word.

That's how the axe was yet laid to the roots of the trees of those many anointed ministers and Christians who worked of iniquity Jesus spoke about, despite that their church membership would have grown tremendously because of the signs and wonders that followed them, because to bear fruits means keep the Word of God and that they didn't do.

Please Help, I don't know what to do.

I am a graduate of office technology and management ( HND ) and now thinking of going into nursing.

My the Grace Of God I am looking at migrating to canada or UK 2023, but then I need to do something that will enable me get job there, like getting job from home country Nigeria, like nurses do with the help of agencies.

I started looking into nursing profession. I enrolled in a tutorial and started taking science subjects. I'll be writing the upcoming waec.

I choose nursing because I felt it's easy to find job over there. But it will take me years to study, plus I gave no science background. and I have to go leave in the school during this period. I'm in my 30's married with kids

What course can I take up on that will be easy for me to get job abroad with my HND certificate?

This gives me sleepness night and makes me think alot. It's really affecting my mental health.

Please can someone help me understand this. I have been sick for days now and yesterday night, my girlfriend told me she had a cooking job somewhere and it was night time. I didn't want her to go because I was feeling really down but she said she needed the money and she would be back by 10pm. She left at past 7pm.

Around 10pm she sent me a message saying she is sorry that she has a lot of work that she will be back the next morning by 7am. I called her and I told her that I needed help, that I was feeling worse because I wasn't responding to treatment and she also promised to come back that night, she said OK she will come back. I waited for her but she never came.

Around past 11pm I tried calling her but her phone was switched off. I called numerous times but switched off. It rang once but my call was busied. I sent her a message it didn't deliver until later it delivered and she saw it but didn't respond. The so called job she went for is for 5k-10k. I didn't receive a message from her till this morning telling me she is sorry. We have been arguing about it and I've been telling her I don't believe her because why did she switch off her phone? She had her charger with her so low ba3 is not an excuse.

There are many other stories but if I go into them, it would turn to final year project. This one I explained here is just a recent one. I can't even count how many times she has broken up with me for no reason and come back saying she is sorry and she wouldn't do it again.

Mind u, this is a girl I've been sponsoring in her school. She is even older than me by 1 year. She is 28 and I am 27. The reason I am even broke now is because I gave her almost all my salary to pay for her school so that she could write her exam.

I am the one taking care of her in everything so I don't really understand what this is. Everything she needs is provided for her. I even borrow to give her just to make sure she has what she needs because she has no source of financial assistance. I do the things I do because I love her so much and I want her to have the essential things in life not just material things. She is actually my first love. We've been dating for 2 years. This is a girl I think of marrying but when she does things like this I get doubtful.

Please someone help me judge this matter and advice me. I am open to any kind of advice. Thank you!

good life in abroad comes with a price which is not being able to climb out from the middle class. You would continually serve the system. Nigeria is badly governed and corruption has led to bad infrastructure. However, I can tell you that the quickest way to climb to the top is naija. In foreign land, it takes time. However, if you are in certain professions it can be quicker. The money you made in Canada how much can it do for you in Canada, if you take Nigeria out of the equation? Not much. But somebody who made such money in Naija would be riding private jet. And when you said you cannot make 90k dollars in niaja I laughed. Why do you sell yourself short? Are you telling me, if you got a contract you cannot make that money in 1 week? By the way 90k dollars is just 30milllion that people in naija spend in the club in a day.

Send them money but don't make it a fixed amount and don't send it regularly.

You can send 50k this month and send 30k in the next two months.

If you send, say 40k every month, there will be trouble the month you don't send it.

I guess I'm lucky to have my parents.

Please help me out. Each time my parents call, its either one problem or the other. I mean both my father and mother will always say they dont have money. They will say they need money to plaster there house, or to paint their house, or to do one thing or the other, and they know, even me I dont have a house yet talk more of sending money to take care of their house or other needs. Note: they both are working as teachers. Even my siblings are like that. They all think I have money, because I stay in the city.

I am getting irritated by their calls. Every call comes with money problem.

Please help me out with good advice.
