I don't really want to do GRE, I need advice. I hv Memorial, Manitoba and McGill in mind

I don't really know for other Canadian Universities you listed but UofM requires GRE especially for the department you mentioned.

And why don't you want to take GRE Please, always back up statements like that with reasons to avoid an unfavourable response from me. I don't have much advice to give you than to simply ask you to CHECK the websites of these schools YOU listed here and your intended department to see if GRE is a requirement.

It is not everything that NL gives you a safe answer. My people, please know more about your intended department, school and their requirements and your chances of admission. Nobody on NL, even someone that's already a student of the school or department can exclusively tell you your fate.

Your CGPA is okay and I hope your CGPA for the last two semesters is close to if not above 4.0. Nonetheless, mail a graduate advisor or a lecturer in the department of your intended school to get feedback on your chances.

Since you graduated with 2:2, in my opinion, your chances of admission into UofM are quite slim.

Mail the graduate advisor or a lecturer in your intended department and inquire about your chances of admission. It's better to confirm from the horse's mouth instead of NL.

I will say you should apply. For me, the fact that you made a first class despite having to combine two sittings for your O'Level result shows that you have exerted yourself to become more competitive and interviewers will surely want to hear the story of how you did it. It could be a strong selling point if you can take advantage of it.

Oando asked for minimum of 5Bs but a lotta candidates who made it to the assessment center stage didn't have up to 5Bs. Don't screen yourself out before recruiters do.

To be 'successful' actually means you aren't average, especially with respect to that area of success. One can be average as a medical student and be successful as an entrepreneur. Being average in school and being deemed successful in your chosen career path are not that related. Time and chance also really matter.

Just ensure you are not an average person.

hi all, am sorry this is coming late. I got to Canny on Saturday morning, flew Egypt Air from lagos to Egypt to Toronto, not as bad as I heard. at poe, I was asked everys and I responded accordingly. The vo asked for my loa, proof of tuition payment, reason for coming late since school resumed 2 weeks ago - I showed her my mail to the school saying I was going to resume late. she then issued my study permit immediately. to all awaitees I wish u all the best. now another life begins here.

You quoted two people of different birth dates.

Even though I don't care for either of them, basket mouth abi na basket brain should shut his mouth.

Anyone somewhat has a right to charge another party that requires his/her service any amount. If the amount is unreasonable to the other party, he/she walks away, not mentioning it in the media and comparing the "erring" party with a "more buzzing act".

@sholay2011 glad you got your TRV without stating your prior US denial. This is often grounds for getting an application denied.

Woah! You mean I am actually expected to state that I have been denied by the US? And where would I even state that (SOP?) 'cos it's not like there is a special column for that?
