IslamRe: A Story Of A Sunni Imam And Shia Ayatollah by sino(m): 12:34pm On Nov 20, 2012
BetaThings: Some Ayatollah were much higher than Khamenei when he succeeded Khomeini. So they had the right to object. Infact Khamenei was not a marji then. Some objected to his promotion later. It was Rafsanjani that told them that Khomeini recommended him for that post.

To you both,
I don't think we should continue debating this matter. A Shia MUST believe in the wassiyah (will) of the Prophet (PBUH)
Please check that video about "Prophet will Testify....". It lays this matter to rest. And there are some interesting parts to it. Take your time and watch it

Let me paraphrase it

"So whoever I kept as my wife, she will meet me tomorrow. And the one whom I divorced, then I am free from her"
Tomorrow in the will means Jannah. The Prophet did not divorce Aisha. And people never leave Jannah
Issue resolved!
Thanks for this.

LagosShia: Good point!
Thanks for the reference.
You are welcome

LagosShia: When she was slandered,it was mentioned in the Quran in Surat an-Nur and she was vindicated.

In Surat Tahreem, she (alongside Hafsa) was described as "their hearts have swayed (from faith" ) and they are warned to repent or receive double punishment.show us a similar verse like what we have in Surat Nur,where she is vindicated for Surat Tahreem.nothing! She went on to disobey the will of the Prophet (sa,fought a battle that spilled muslim blood after the Prophet's (sa) demise and she revolted against her Imam of the time/Wali al-Amr.and do you expect us to look over these facts and justify her? Or we simply examine the facts without giving her a halo?
I will InshAllah read the tafsir of surah Tahrim to get the full gist.
Well, i find it hard to believe that after Allah(swt) had warned them(ra), they continue with such a swayed heart. I hope you do believe that our Iman grows and diminish?

LagosShia: So two prophets of Allah married disbelievers? Here you go Sweetnecta! One more contradiction, all to defend the daughter of Abu Bakr against the facts of history while no one is making anything up against her.why try to exonerate her? For us,simply examining the facts is enough and we have no need to sentence to hell.why not you too just examine the facts without trying to right her wrongs and send her to paradise?

The only crime the wives of Noah and Lot (as) committed is disbelief and they are described as "betrayong or belying" their husbands.however a prophet of Allah (swt) will not marry a polytheist except she was an hypocrite concealing her disbelief from him,and Allah (swt) allows that to make her a sign and lesson for other to learn from.
Hypocrisy do not just spring up all of a sudden, and Allah(SWT) would not praise a person in the Qur'an and such a person is a hypocrite or such a person will fall short afterwards...the Qur'an is meant to be a guide till eternity. The matter of the wives of prophet Noah and Lout had been concluded by Allah and made them examples for the whole ummah to learn from.
We can talk about looking at facts, but what better fact is there other than the Qur'an?
I am not saying she is infallible, but i'll rather let Allah(swt) be the Judge. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Chiefupper: yes it is drag n drop am using but all wot it brought out afta right clicking are view, sort by,refresh, paste, paste shortcut,NVIDIA Control panel, groove folder synchronization, new and personalize datz all,no arrange icons by (d laptop na sony pentium m window vista)
Sorry, i was thinking in xp...
You should therefore go to sort by, and choose any of the options, name, size, etc.
This should fix it.
IslamRe: A Story Of A Sunni Imam And Shia Ayatollah by sino(m): 12:03am On Nov 20, 2012
...and didnt Allah(SWT) exonerated Aisha(ra) in the Qur'an(Q24 vs 11-22) when she was slandered?

The wives of Prophet Nuh and Lot never believed, they belied the prophets of Allah(swt) even though they were married to them. Aisha(ra) believed the message and worked with the prophet(saw) in propagating Islam we muslims enjoy today.

Hello,
How do you rearrange? Do you drag and drop? If you do, then what you need to do is right click on your desktop, then go to "arrange icons by" and you choose any of the drop down options.
I hope it works.

The memory is ok, you can continue to use it on your system

You can carry out the test on her system too, and post the result.

tintingz: what if am working in a company that gives a red shirt as the colour of the company outfit like some banks do. . .that means i have to go home and change for prayer(salat) when have not close for the day?
Well, you don't need to go home, you can pray like that or rather you can always come along with an extra shirt since its considered makrooh by some scholars.

From what i have read so far, red is forbidden for men just like silk and gold, one should try as much to abstain from them.

Allahu 'alam
IslamRe: What Men Wear by sino(m): 7:53am On Nov 10, 2012
^ a garment is an item of clothing or piece of clothing, its every cloth you can think of, not only the jalabia
IslamRe: What Men Wear by sino(m):
tintingz: did the prophet(saw) appointed colour of material we should wear to the mosque??
All are permissible except for Red, the hadith is in the OP.
*modified* i think i need glasses lol
deols: 7. Praying in saffron dyed clothes (Saffron colour is red or bright orange-red)- guru maharaji style cheesy red-red is so gay grin
[/color]
'Abdullaah ibn 'Umar (radhiAllahu 'anhumaa) said that the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) saw him dressed with two saffron coloured garments. So he said, "This is the dress of the disbelievers, so do not clothe yourself with it." [Muslim, Musnad Ahmad]

In one narration he (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said to him, "Did your mother order you to wear it?" I said, "Shall I wash them both?" He said, "Rather burn them both!"

Yet another narration says, "So I did that."

In another narration it says how he was seen by the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) in a garment stained with saffron dye so he was told, "What is this garment that is upon you?!" So he understood by that its dislike and went home and found them heating up the stove to cook meat and threw the garment into it. Then he went to the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) the next day and he said, "What have you done with your garment?" So when he had told him, he said, "Why didn't you clothe some of your family with it? There is no harm in the ladies using it." [Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Maajah]

It is reported from Anas (radhiAllahu 'anhu) that the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) forbade the man from wearing saffron (clothes). [Bukhaari]

'Ali (radhiAllahu 'anhu) said the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) forbade from saffron dyed clothes. [Muslim, Nisai, Abu Dawud]

Ibn Qudaamah said, "Concerning praying in red garments, our companions have said it is makrooh for a man to clothe in it and pray in it." [Al-Mughni]

Ibn-ul-Qayyim discusses this in "Zaad-ul-Ma'ad" and says it is indeed very strongly disliked although still permissible. Allah granted refuge from it to the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) when he wore a blood-red garment and now there is doubt as to the true meaning of red cloth.

At-Tabraani in "Al-Awsat" discusses the red garment of the Prophet (sallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and says it is a mistake to think the garment was pure red and not mixed with anything else. This red garment was a Yemeni costume woven with red and yellow thread like all such Yemeni costumes. It is called red due to the red thread in it. As for pure red then this is strongly forbidden.

Mustay: Na wa o! So guys too dey follow join for this color blocking rioting. Methinks the second one is okay from what I can see of it. The first one iyaf block my eye tongue

About wearing what one would wear outside, often times, artisans (especially mechanics) wear their workshop clothes to the mosque :-/
One imam had challenged them during Jum'ah that they can't wear such to see the governor but find it convenient not to be able to change clothes for salat.
Yeah mechanics and meat sellers are the major culprit here, well, i guess its not their fault, most of them are not adequately educated about Islam and cleanliness.

Be neat, be smart, if you like, you can be trendy but not like the color riot guy o! grin that's an example of "were yo ni kona" lol

Pencil jeans? They look feminine to me, like pencil skirt...i think they were originally made for ladies...
Having your own tailor sew it, especially cotton materials, looks better than buying the ready-made ones(jeans).

Personally, i no fit wear am at all!

Mustay: My ish has to do with how people here tend to ascribe dressing in a particular style synonymous to what they see of other scholars as some kinda OFFICIAL MUSLIM attire.
yeah, some will even look down on you as if you are less of a muslim cos you dress against their perceived OFFICIAL MUSLIM attire. I have heard a brother tell another wearing a shirt that he is wearing the cloths of the yehuud, automatically he is imitating them(according to the hadith of the Prophet(saw).

deols: Ok. Wives and offsprings,if they were doers of good deeds would be rejoined with their husbands or fathers.

But they would need to have done enough deeds to make aljannah in d first place.

It would be safe for evryone to attain d highest level of piety they can. You never can tell how good is best.

Thank you for your effort
True, we should strive for the best, but, only Allah(swt) can grant paradise through His mercy...

This reminds me of the hadith of the prophet(saw) about parents who loose a child or two, and these children would Intercede on their behalf so they would be granted paradise.

Also the prophet(saw) said, "one who dies, believing in his heart that there is no god but Allah, enters paradise." although the person might eventually spend some duration in hell for some of the sin the person commited while on earth...

All i know is that, Allah(swt) is Just, and everyone will get what s/he deserves...
Allahu 'allam.
