KunleOshob:Dont mind them KunleOshob, they speak as though I've not been there; in CE, its all about numbers. You need to see leaders falsifying figures just to appear efficient. oh boy, I know CE like I know my name ![]() |
hubreality:I'm making progress Hub, oh I wish you knew how far I've gone already |
hubreality:You mean testiphoney ![]() |
Image123:lol, dont even waste your time Image123 cos you cant answer the question. You speak of peace, Oh I have it in abundance. Hundreds of people and counting are getting to know the truth, what more can I ask for; this is pure fulfilment |
No sir, I'm only saying most of them are popular. I'm talking about the likes of leroy thompson, creflo dollar, Benny hinn and our own Oyaks |
I can say with absolute vertainty that not all of them do, unfortunately the ones that do seem to have stolen the whole show. Why not, they're super rich, rich enough to run a 24hr sattelite TV station, rich enough to buy airtime from major sattelite TV like TBN and GOD TV; thats why they're the ones we see. But I tell you, like in the days of Elijah, God will always reserve men who fear and worship him sincerely. |
ukotmi:Would really love to hear your report, do you mind sharing? |
hubreality:Off course I'm not ruling faith out but like I've said in several posts, faith is not always required for healings and miracles. Jesus healed so many folks who didn't express even an ounce of faith. But your pastor will have you believe that people who do not recieve their healing from the healing school lack faith. Mr Chris is always quick to defend his inability to perform miracles by saying that Jesus didn't perform miracles in his hometown. But the Bible states that he still went ahead and healed few sick folks there. Their unbelief was not so much the problem, he still could have performed miracles there if he wanted. Remember the case of Lazarus, Lazarus was a dead man, his sisters and relatives were faithless nonetheless, Jesus went ahead and brought him back to life. His conversation with Martha in vs 39, 40 and his prayer afterwards in verse 42 of John 11 says it all. And I know that you hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me |
You dont get me Hub, my question is: was there any sick or invalid person that jesus ministered to that didnt get completely healed but needed several weeks/months/years of faith talk to be completely healed? There was only one such case: the blind man who said he saw men as trees when Jesus ministered to him. What did Jesus do? tell him to go home and keep saying it? NO, he laid hands on him again till the man could see crystal clear. Yes Jesus did not heal some folks in his hometown because of unbelief, but let me ask you: Did Chris not teach that faith came with the package of salvation. If men to whom faith had not been given freely could recieve 100% healing, how much more the new creation that is a custodian of eternal verities. (according to Chris Oyakhilome)? |
When someone does not get healed, they say you do not have faith, okay show me an example of a blind or lame man who had faith and got healed, they suddenly become dumb. Pathological Liars!! |
hubreality:Now tell me Hub was there any case in the bible where Jesus or the apostles did not achieve 100% result. Was there anybody Jesus healed that needed to do 'faith talk' before he was completely healed? These are all lame excuses of present day faith healers who are nothing but charlatans |
hubreality:. Question: Why then does the ministry of christ embassy prevent access to these miracle recipients? Answer: I have personally interviewed a couple of them before; the truth is most of these people actually lie to themselves in the name of faith. For example, a friend of mine who happens to be a member of the Haven PCF of christ embassy went to the 2008 May session; he is a sickle cell patient. I was there when Chris ministered to him; he shared his testimony on a sunday service in church as having been healed. Well, this is ten months now, the sore in his leg isn't getting any better, he still limps, and still suffers crises that lands him in the hospital every now and then. off course the congregation doesnt know all this, all they know is what he told them as his testimony. Nice gimmick!! |
hubreality:How many of those watching via telecast have been healed of blindness, or how many crippled folks have been healed. The answer is none. Mr Christian Oyakhilome is a charlatan, a very smart one. |
hubreality:Who's competing with you? I dont think you come close when it comes to the 'faith walk'. Why do physically disabled people not get healed at the healing school? |
hubreality:Some of us have greater stories to tell you know. I've been on the scene for over 20 years; Where you are right now, I've been there long ago. I've ministered in crusades and programs as early as age 13 where there was spectacular demonstration of what you would call 'the power of Gods Spirit'. You see Hub, theres alot more to winning souls; remember the parable of the sower |
I'm still waiting for your answer Hub: Why do physically disabled people not get healed at the healing school? |
Pastor: I cover the driver with the blood of Je**s Passengers: Blooooood of Je**s Pastor: I cover the engine with the blood of Je**s Passengers: bloooooood of Je**s Pastor: I cover the road and the tyres with the blood of Je**s Passengers: Blooooood of Je**s Pastor: I cover everyone in this bus with the blood of je**s Passengers: Bloood of Je**s ![]() |
hubreality:Come on Hub, you can give it a try; at least you can share with us what the Holy Spirit 'told' you. Come on Hub, 'you can do all things' ![]() |
@Image123, Back to the original question: What spiritual blessings do you enjoy as a result of your obedience to tithe which non tithers like me and KunleOshob cannot enjoy? |
hubreality:@Hubreality, Since the permanently disabled dont ever get healed at the healing school, does it mean no disabled person has faith? |
@Hubreality, you keep making so much noise about Malachi 3:8-10 so I had to post it here so you can read it once again. I'm sorry but I have to ask you these questions: how do you study your bible? How does this passage relate to you as a new creation? Have you taken time to study the law of tithing as commanded by God to the jews which the prophet Malachi spoke of? Is it the same kind of tithe you practice? If the answer is no then where does the popular pentecostal tithing originate from? Do you think the early church practiced tithing, did the apostle Paul not teach freewill giving as opposed to the compulsory 10% tithe? I was a teacher in the foundation school of CE, I taught 'doctrines' in my class. One of the topics in the manual is 'giving and recieving' where Mr Chris says that "tithing is compulsory for the christian", how do you justify that statement in the light of the scriptures? Be sincere with your answers Hub, thats even if you have the answer. Malachi 3:8-10 8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. 9 Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. |
@hubreality, I think you should re-title this thread; 'Hubreality-Pepeye' wont be a bad title. How come its just the two of you posting on this thread? where are all the 'numerous' CE brethren? or are they too busy to visit the internet? ![]() |
away4real:Please tell us, what did Oprah and Peter J. Daniels say was their secret; Tithing? away4real:Ignorance on rampage!! |
@Pepeye, Do you want to bail out your brother cos hes doing badly |
@Hubreality, Considering your last post, I rest my case ![]() |
Kunle you go wait tire ![]() |
hubreality:Yes, I tell people not to pay tithes because God never instructed them to do so. I also tell people to be wary of the antics of Chris; I have equally given my reasons. To the glory of God and shame of the devil, many CE leaders and members are coming into the light of this reality. Many of them who have stopped practicing the lie called firstfruits and tithing have mind blowing testimonies which they would previously have attributed to 'the blessings of tithing'. |
fyneguy:Oh yeah! even when half that number cannot quote John 3:16 after one year in the church? |
fyneguy:Numbers! numbers!! numbers!!! thats what you seem to be interested in. Matthew 23:15. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cross sea and land to make a single convert, and you make the new convert twice as much the child of hell as yourself |
initiate:Do you need me to tell you that?? you have them in your church dude ![]() |
hubreality:This reminds me of a dear brother we lost last year; He came up about three years ago to share how that he had been healed of HIV in on of Chris' program. Everything looked fine with him until late last year when we got the shocking news that he died of complications from HIV; this was just few weeks to his wedding, in fact, he was to be get married to my PCU leader. I know too well about Chris' miracle scam anytime any day |
hubreality:Its a shame that you will always label anyone as evil, atheist or anti-God who does not believe or agree with your Pastors deceptive antics; yet you will not provide any reasonable scriptural backing for your delusions. I have had disagreements with Image123 on some issues but I must confess that I admire his courage and boldness in defending his faith. I think yo have a lot to learn. |
