nwachrist: I still wonder the main reason why FG is relaxing this lockdown just at the point our positive case keep increasing.
Just look new cases coming out since last week. Next three weeks will oh! God pls help us. They can't cater to everyone under lockdown. People have to earn and the Nigerian system isn't doing anything to help. And oh well they had one month to make much more significant gains and they blew it |

jasontrigga: Those guys at NCDC are very funny The only propagate fear in people
With all the money and other donations
Haven’t heard them talk about conducting a research for a vaccine or cure
The only thing they know is “sit at home “ irrespective of the economy situation of most individuals and business
Sit at home can’t never and wouldn’t be the solution Not just them but where are all our academicians and researchers |

EmekaBlue: many people have being presenting rapid test kits u could even buy in a pharmacy and works 100% coz its also used in other countries but they refuse to approve for reason best known to them The minister of health once made a remark on their reliability and accuracy which I believe is the reason we're sticking to molecular testing |

PositiveDirect: Looking at this increasing number, is this the right time to ease lockdown let's ask ourselves? No not really but since there's nothing to cushion the effect of the lockdown government should free the people. It wasn't even a national and total lockdown. We should just hope for the best |

senatordave1: So many inconsistencies.the ncdc boss even betrayed himself by indirectly saying that every state will have it when he visited IMO. He said so because he saw Nigerians were defying the lockdown measures and were still engaging in interstate travels. That's why I fear for kogi and cross river not recording a known case now because when they do the numbers of infections could have eaten deep |

Discombulator: You're very ignorant, we haven't even begin to peak yet,if you're aware of the facts you'll know that usa has texted a million more than Nigeria. Nigeria tested 15,000 and almost 2,000 are positive, while USA has texted over 70million people in case you don't know that is why they have a million cases. But the time Nigeria starts testing up to a million people we might have around 250,000 cases then. What do you think killed those 800 people in kano You lots don't know what is going on. USA 70million Nah that's BS And while I'm not totally sure about Kano's mysterious deaths, I feel Lagos should also be experiencing the same with the level of spreading there |

sulasa07: I believe Corona in Nigeria at the moment is still Audio but in the next 3-4 weeks, the real Corona will show face and our Government will start to tell us what they've being doing with all the Covid-19 funds they obtained. And why is it audio? Low deaths? Low recoveries? No pictures |
Health › Re: Lagos Confirms One COVID-19 Death by SirWarlock: 9:53pm On May 01, 2020 |
I like how some people don't question this news(albeit unfortunate) but will call it audio and start demanding pictures (as if they are doing photography there) when cases get discharged . People are funny . So until Nigeria starts experiencing mass deaths then corona is video |

jawalis: You mean More Malaria patients were discharged? Audio Discharge. I keep asking myself and the entire Nation what the hospitals and agencies discharging patients has been administering to the patients that aid such fast recovery and recuperation. And why can’t the Medical researchers, virologist and Other health professionals come together and enquire for that special gene, trait of biological concept of the body of those discharged patients and collect sample while the push effort to produce probably a temporary vaccine for the main time. You think Nigeria is the ONLY country discharging patients? |

Arrewa: Nice one Babajide!!!
Nigerians are just living in pretense. Pretending like they believe covid19 exist.
But majority of Nigerians deep within still doubt the NCDC reports, & stories. They're seeing the whole thing like a movie.
True/false? But we are not ready for the talk. True it's like a movie, like almost 300k dead just like that worldwide? Like all the daily updates concerning new infections and deaths . Yeah people don't believe, some because of preconceived notion of Nigeria being a corrupt country while some are waiting for the media to paint it as a national emergency like other countries, like people struggling with their life and stuff like that |
Politics › Re: Oronsanye Report: Buhari Asks SGF, HOS To Scrap, Merge Some Agencies by SirWarlock: 1:42pm On May 01, 2020 |
COMPAQ: In fact Buhari should be using this crisis to execute a number of things. The opportunity to do this was there in 2015, but he was was too politically scared to do them, perhaps because of second term.
Full deregulation of petrol prices: As far as I'm concerned the modulation policy credited to NNPC MD still leaves an entry point for FG. It should be fully deregulated like diesel
Implementation of Orasanye report. Nigeria has too many unproductive civil servants.
Reducing the budget of National Assembly: I still don't understand how the NASS has more budget than many states in Nigeria.
Privatization of more government companies: There are still many government assets that would benefit from privatisation, such as NTA, airports, sea ports and even roads. That frees up FG from having to make allocations and pay salaries.
Reducing the salaries AND ALLOWANCES of Nigerian political appointees, the president and his vice president. Concerning the national assembly I agree with that. I don't know what sort of deal they had with the executive for them to be afraid to look into(not just this administration). Perhaps there's a constitutional act preventing that? |

Shollyderk: The virus is in Nigeria I accept that but it isn’t up to what this uneducated corrupt government and their cheating platform the NCDC are giving us. They are making billions of naira everyday from this. They have to keep making the cases higher than the norm so that the cash keep flowing into the account. Wake up Nigerians You work at NCDC? So Lagos wants to take pride in becoming corona epicenter in Nigeria? There's corruption in Nigeria yes but that doesn't each and every decision is a means to embezzle money! |

Focusmind: That's why most western countries usually object to appointing people from Africa and developing world into sensitive UN positions.
They are not usually strong and could easily be manipulated for lack of confidence and sometimes low self esteem.
I feel pity for the man. He must have been arm twisted by China. For one, he failed to call the virus "Wuhan Virus" against known previous ways of coding virus names.
Spanish flu - Spain Ebola Virus - Ebola in Congo Lassa Fever - Lassa town in Borno State Korean swine flu - South Korea Newcastle cow disease - Newcastle in England
Even Siamese twins came from a town named siamese in South East Asia. Tsunami is also a town Indonesia. 1. Spanish flu didn't originate in spain 2. New WHO guidelines is to not associate these things with geographic origin |
