IbokUtoroh: No YOU should stop displaying your ignorance. I am speaking of gubernatorial elections that were a sham, you are displaying your ignorance speaking of presidential elections where there were reports of underage voting in the north, and incomprehensible figures from the south east and south south where some states were almost recording 99% PDP even with low voter turn out. Try your nonsense with your fellow travellers in ignorance please. |

Your sermons are condescending, it would be amusing if it wasn't so peurile. So Jonathan shielding corrupt politicians is brushed aside despite the fact that months ago you were shoving him down our throats as the only viable leader. Question. Have any groups submitted petitions to EFCC with evidence about Fashola and Amaechi and they were told by EFCC that they won't look into the case? You shout Amaechi and yet you so rigidly defend what was obviously and internationally agreed sham of an election In Rivers State where people were actually killed and there was brazen rigging and voter intimidation, and you have the gall to lecture anybody about the virtues of fighting corruption. You lack any sort of credibility and as a result it is very difficult to take anything you say seriously. What are we now supposed to do with this your sermon? 8 Likes |
Politics / Re: Why PDP Should Form A Shadow Cabinet To APC’s Government by SkyBlue1: 5:55pm On Oct 17, 2015 |
Understand the traditions of the systems and where such traditions have come from before suggesting something. A major problem has been this "copy and paste" attitude we continuously adopt without fully nderstanding the implications. We don't run a paliamentary system. The president does not appoint ministers from congress or elected representatives. |

Nigeria doesn't practise a paliamentary system . . . . . so what are you on about? Does the republican party have a "shadow cabinet"? |

I blame poor and myopic leadership at the national and regional level. What has the African Union really achieved since it's founding? African countries still trade more with Europe and the rest of the world than they do among themselves. |

Jonathan ran THE MOST corrupt government in the history of Nigeria, and he was from the north right? Peter Odilli and Ibori were the most corrupt governors of the Obasanjo era, and they were from the north right? You people should keep lying to yourself and living in your delusions formed by bigotry. Have you both ever had an original thought of your own? 2 Likes |

I don't want to speak bad about the allegedly dead so let us leave it at that but stop being an idiot! Do you know how many people corruption kills in Nigeria everyday? That is money that was not put into hospitals and healthcare to save lives, or quality educational infrastructure, or good roads which Nigerians die everyday due to lack of it, or all the other things that has stopped the country growing and prevented job creation to allow people earn a living for themselves and their families, I could go on!! LOL, some village champions think Nobel Peace Prize is coke or something they can bribe to attain like paying off some judge in Nigeria. Jonathan should be given a Nobel Peace prize for stepping down after losing an election in a country he almost destoyed with poor leadership? When people call you people backwards now you will claim offence, this is why some people don't take Africa seriously. See how low your esteem is. 2 Likes |

Suddenly EFCC has realised what its independent responsibility is. This is refreshing but I hope it doesn't go the way of the OBJ and Ribadu years when we heard of much probing without results or jail terms. We want a genuine and ultimately EFFECTIVE fight against corruption, good intentions are not enough anymore. 6 Likes |

In no where in your grouse with Amaechi and his perceived "betrayal" of his "brother" (they are not even from the same family or ethnic group but whatever fits your convenience and village mentality) did you mention anything about performance. And you would be the same IDIOT that would come and sermonise later with your sanctimonious lamentations on why Nigeria isn't developed. How can it develop when performance is not even a criteria for you in your selection of a leader? So backwards it is embarrassing . . . 1 Like |

If he is that popular then let him win it fairly and without violence, simple. Save your childish wailing and threats for people who can't think for themselves. All international observers remarked at the level of violence in Rivers State elections and how there was low turn out and people were scared to go out and vote, and all th reported irregularities as well, so what are you talking about? 1 Like |

They should screen them already and let them get to work. There is work to do in the country, and the names were not bad. Fashola did well in Infrastructure for Lagos. Amaechi did well in Education, Health and made some attempts at infrastructure as well As for those who are disappointed; we had 16 years of PDP having a go, let us give the new guy freedom to tackle the problem the way he sees fit as well. 3 Likes 1 Share |

knuckbuck: And you're an idiot for allowing bigotry to make you so myopic. What did the Niger Delta get with six years of Jonathan? Is east west road fixed? How developed is Bayelsa so far? Instead of you to be ashamed at the poor and dismal performance of the man called Jonathan you are here spewing myopic village mentality reasoning thinking it can pass as wisdom, have you no shame? How much was oil selling for during the majority of Jonathan's regime? Some people are just hopeless, people like YOU are the problem with Nigeria. If Jonathan was my father that isn't something I would be proud to shout in the streets, but then if he was my father I would never have let him get that bad. Instead of you to tell the truth you are here trying to pass off feaces as roses. 4 Likes |
Politics / Re: Buhari Ministerial Nominees: Same Ol' Same, Corruption Mocks Anti-corruption by SkyBlue1: 5:57pm On Oct 06, 2015 |
No surprise at all at OP's stance it was very much expected, the truth is he would NEVER have been satisfied with anything - even if Jesus was in that cabinet - because he is not objective, there are some people that Buhari simply can't ever please and he should not waste his efforts and time trying to, he should simply do the job he was democratically elected to do. With regards to the nominees. We tried 16 years of PDP ministers headed by totally corrupt presidents, I think we are allowed to at least give an alternative president a chance to have his stab at the same problem with the freedom to lead, a freedom which the past flailures of the last 16 years had and squandered. He has been given power, he should therefore be allowed the space to also perform. 4 Likes |

Nigerians have a problem with amnesia so it is sometimes good to remind them of what has gone before, and how defenselessly bad the 6 years of Jonathan and the 16 years of PDP were. It should never repeat again in my lifetime I pray. The worst president Nigeria has ever had . . . and that is saying something considering that list includes OBJ. 3 Likes |

theV0ice: I would be curious to see how this plays out but they should definitely stick to the facts of the position and not allow themselves to get dragged into backyard non sense making arguments. It's only in Nigeria that something as open and shut as this will drag on this long. We were told millions of people voted for Wike despite all the violence and deaths and intimidated voters staying at home. Let us examine the ballots and go through the whole thing. Simple. What was the point of INEC investing in the technology if we are not going to use it? |

My advice to APC is not to get sidetracked by pointless arguments in the tribunal but to focus on the facts. We were told millions of people voted for Wike. Let the ballot be inspected and let us see millions of different fingerprints, it really IS that simple. The lie was so poorly executed, it will not be difficult to expose. |
