How do you even drive in lagos without getting bashed or scratched, who was that man claiming it's possible?
On different occasions i will be at traffic light waiting for it to turn green. The next thing gboaaa....
one car will just use me to stop.
"sorry bros my brake failed...." several times

today on opebi traffic one mini truck didn't apply his brakes early and hit d 5th car behind me. yes 5th car.
the 5th hit d 4th till the impact got to d next car behind me. that one too hit me with much impact, i was just far enough from the one at my front. e for continue like dat.

i just went down to check d damage, just little scratches caused by his number plate screws/bolts.

i just drove off leaving dem behind to fight their fight angry

This guy made 12k completing 13 trips and he is happy well done sir.....
13 trips on Bolt will fetch me nothing less than 25k
what if d 13 trips on bolt are all 1k each or less.
its not about d amount of trips, but the distance and time.
i did 3 trips on uber last week and it was 8500. next day i did 3 trips it was 2k....
you should know how these things vary...

A lady ordered me from fagba to berger. She conveniently sat at OWNER’S CORNER doing snap chat with her miserable tecno phone with gucci pouch. When i ended the trip it was 1200. She said she only has 1k with her. With a calm voice i told her to bring the 1k like that. I cajoled her to rate me and she gave me 5star. As she was trying to open the door i said “excuse me ma, next time dont sit at the back of someone’s car if you know you don’t have your full fare. Shame catch am small

Seriously if Uber should continue giving me mature male riders especially mainland men, I will quit.
I picked up one yeye man and his wife for 500 naira short distance trip, only for them to be disturbing me to enter every red traffic light we come across, saying that road safety won't do anything 2 me cos it's weekend, just imagine rubbish.
I was so angry already cos this man talks faster than a parrot and he won't stop talking, he talks as if he wants to hit me
I just jejely told him sir I'm sorry to say, but if you ask me to beat any traffic light again, I will instantly end the trip and drop you off on the express way. D man just quietly shut up
We got to his destination Las Las na ordinary 550 naira, I just collected it and instantly gave to a begger without even looking at d money, d man just open mouth dey look
How do you guys deal with riders always pushing you to break traffic rules?
lol... guy you dey para oo

I took a guy on a trip and he made an online transfer of the money to my account. Same guy asked me to deliver a package and would transfer money for that when I deliver. I had to text him the following day before I could get my money, he even shortchanged me by #100. At least he paid.

Second guy, with his babe. He made a transfer(obviously fake). He told me I will still get the alert because I didn't get it when he did his wonder transfer. I didn't get it, texted him in the morning too but he still didn't budge. I just reported to Uber and they promise to pay me.

What I did today and will continue to do. Rider said he'll transfer to me. I told him, "sir, I have a problem with my bank account, I can only take cash". He was surprised, he said he has never paid cash for Uber before. I just told him to select an online payment option in his uber account instead of the cash option, then he said he can't put his card details online. In my mind I said "so you no wan put card details online and you not fit carry cash, who you dey deceive".
The guy and his friends just find my money sharply.

Unless the rider bolt away like someone had earlier said here, please tell them you have a problem with your account if they say they would transfer. Or better still, carry them to the nearest ATM machine without ending the trip, let them pay for that too.

It is so annoying that these people will not tell you before starting the trip, only for them to surprise you with transfer when they get to their destination.

Drivers are getting wiser too, riders should not rule over us. Its ride sharing, not taxi, not personal driver.

I can't put a car worth over a million naira on the road and someone who will pay maximum of 20k will now be doing like they bought the car for me. If they are pissed, let em buy a car too and get personal driver, simple!
these days they dont even announce they are paying via transfer.... they just ask ur acc number at destination...
I dont even have a problem with dat, my gtb app and email alert got me covered anytime. Just do the transfer, announce my name that displayed, show me "successful", i'll open my app and email and refresh till i get it then you can get out.... i worry less on uber however.
Nb: i dont rely on text alert, i even disabled mine.

It takes 24hours before the system will recognise you have done the 15 trips. Uber promises to refund last week but they didn't. I did my 15th trip on Tuesday morning and switched to taxify when they charged my 16th trip. Had to wait for 24hrs before 0% service fee started.
i sent them message after the 16th trip. Retired for today cause of flu. Tomorrow we'll check. Thanks

If you allow urself to be scammed you will be scammed. In this work delivery of items is inenvitable but it depends on ur approach to it. I have done over 200 deliveries and they were done with no issues. This ehailing work has gone beyond gentleman approach. Personally I don't do any delivery stuff that is not on a card trip. Secondly, I should be able to see and as well vet what am been asked to deliver. And if it must be cash then what am delivering must be something worth it that is the monetary value should exceed the ride fare. A case in point is this, two weeks ago I got a request by 10.30pm around CMD road to deliver two sets of new human hair to one babe at Abule Ijesha. Got to delivery point babe said shes not around that I should hand it over to a friend and send my acc details so that she will do me a transfer. I told her she isnt serious and I went with the items. Na so I carry the hair go house. Early morning next day, she called for it and I billed her 4k to bring it to her + 2k being the trip fare. Be wise in this work or else you keep telling ur family stories.
the other day i dropped some1 at marina, 2 trips entered both apps simultaneously.
Before i could manage to call. One rider called immediately.
I stylishly ask; madam which app did you order with, because i have 2 phones and i got two requests now. Uber or taxify?
She laughed, and said guy u are smart o, you use both at once? Its taxify
We just laughed over it.
Rider: so i need you to help me buy something at balogun market, then bring to omole phase 1, the stuff is 12k, but i will send you 6k, do you have 6k there to add up? So when you deliver it, we will balance up
Me: send the whole 12k, i will get it and bring to you. I have just 1500 here.
Rider: emmmm, my own part of the bargain is 6k, the person you will deliver it to will give you the remaining 6k when you reach.
Me: ma i am sorry i dont have dat much here, i would have helped.
Rider: ok , no problems, lemme request another taxify and see if he has cash....

Please can one explain this to me, I've had mostly card trips this week yet my balance shows zero. Does that mean I'm not expecting anything from uber on Monday?
subtract your cash collected from ur total earnings, the difference is what you will get on monday. Thats how my app behaves too
