Even if am comfortable in Nigeria, the only reason i will prefer to migrate is as a result of security reasons... Not just that those incharge of your safety are the ones to be avoided but also that everyone is now a menace, a suspect due to hardship.

The more i stay here the more i start seing shady deals as a way to survive which i believe is not so out there.

I realy want to live a decent life and i cant cleary see how living decent would favour me in this country where everyone is expected to have a least instict of a crook mentality to survive.

You are totally wrong....Chinese government gives priority to every business, I mean equal opportunity to all enterprises, esp. the indigenous ones. In fact, many of the state-owned businesses in the Northeastern part of the country can no longer compete with the private ones in the Southeast. China is already a leader in tech innovation from High Speed rail (450km/h), to Artificial Intelligence, 5G tech, Space science etc. China, just like Japan, America started by engaging in reverse engineering (copying) but they've learnt, mastered and improved virtually all these tech and they are now innovating to more advanced level. About research, pls check Chinese Academy of Sciences CAS, last year they had the world's biggest number of scientific publications. Our problem is that we read too much of western news. Either you believe it or not, western media hardly report anything good about others. Many of friends do ask about BH, Chibok girls as if it's all that's happening in Nigeria. Nigeria today is leading in tech innovation in Africa and it's getting attention and funding from outside but many of us do not know this because CNN do not and will never report it.

To you, China is forcing African leaders to take loans? How many infrastructure has China taken over in Nigeria, or West Africa. I remember Sierra Leone cancelled an airport project and nothing happened. What many of you do not know is that, China is helping Africa to bridge a wide infrastructure gap at the same time booming its own economy, reason while China calls it win-win deal. For your information, corrupt leaders do not have access to those money, as the money goes directly to China companies executing those projects unlike WorldBank and IMF loans that go directly to the purses of our politicians and from there back to the western economies.

As for the USA bombing everywhere as they wish, kindly note that US is doing that for resources control and power and nothing like helping in any kind of freedom. How is bombing of Libya, Iraq, or the ongoing invasion of Venezuela or Iran etc give you freedom? Stop listening to too much of western propaganda. A country that has KKK and presently having a President supporting such do not have any moral.

Africa and Asia needs a special kind of democracy which would infuse the authoritarian discipline of monarchy and freedom of democracy to strike a perfect balance.

Democracy might be best for the Europeans, but Africa, Middle east and Asia needs a more stronger system

Now fast forward to 2019, Iran has so many affiliated militias in Lebanon (Hezbollah, strongest in the world, that even the almighty Isreal would think twice before stealing Lebanese land), Houthi Shia groups (Yemen militias kicking Saudi ass in Yemen), Syria military (If not for Iran, The rebels would have defeated Bashar al-Assad), Iraq (Iraq is now an ally of Iran). That's not all, Iran has a homegrown military industry, they produce their own rockets, guns, submarines, aircraft (thou inferior), sophisticated missiles, etc, now tell me how you intend defeating a country such as this with ease? or you think Iran is Libya?

US knows this and they know invading Iran unprovoked will end their influence in the region, this war won't only end in Iran, it will affect all Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia and Isreal, Just an order from Iran and see how Hezbollah unleash their madness.

US is powerful, but wars are not always won by that. a war with Iran isnt what we should be praying for, as millions will perish. God heal the Middle East.

Very apt point. Inflation being the key word here, the continuous rise in inflation doesn't reflect on the income of the middle class, and as you rightly said "they're beginning to merge with the lower class". What is a middle class that finds it difficult to pay rent on time, buy sufficient food, or even fuel a car or board the commercial bus.
The income gap continues to widen and the government ain't serious about it. Better conditions for the middle class leaves hope for the lower class.

When the majority of the population find it difficult to cover the basic necessities of life, then you know you have a dwindling middle class. The upper class is known by their ability to enjoy luxuries, and comparing those with the ability to pay for luxuries and those who couldn't you would understand that Nigeria is a capitalist nation, and In a capitalist nation, the middle class dwindles.
