you have done your best by being open and sincere about how you feel about him although a little late.. Give him time to swallow and digest it. He should come around after that! If he doesnt, shake it off and get over it. Life's too short to let anyone be the reason for your unhappiness! Goodluck! |

bennyraz: Primary school memories. Adaeze & blessing, lilian, jennifer. How i knew where those girls are now? Beautiful things. Especially Blessing, i was a thorn in the flesh of Ada, always looking for her trouble, snatching her biro. she would always cry, warning me ''benny leave me alone o''. As for blessing, that fine benin girl, at closing time, she would always target carrying my school bag'' lilian always fight me. There's no time she doesn't. Our ghanian Class teacher was always like why Benny? Jennifer would always like me to share her biscuits & chocolate with me, i always refused. Me & blessing sat on the same locker. That was just the only girl i was shy about. The whole class branded us husband & wife. I was always angry when they said that. Ada always look dull when they chant that husband & wife thing during break time. So many primary school stuff meenwhat manner of nonsense is this? |
Continuation. . . 3. PEER INFLUENCE: Many people grow up to become more attached to their friends at the expense of family. This atimes is borne out of poverty or the need to be accepted by their peers. Most times its not a concious decision but it just so happens that the person is always there for their friend than they are for family. . . . 4. INDEPENDENCE: This happens mostly to siblings from poor homes and abusive homes. Poor homes. . This occurs for example when a child grows up to get a good job and starts supporting their younger ones. Most times, especially when the pressure of work, coupled with the pressures of the responsibilities to their siblings become overwhelming. This could lead to a break that most times leave the dependent sibling eternally angry with the other as they always feel betrayed. In cases of abusive homes, I know a case where a girl grew up in a home with overly strict parents who for some reason were harder on her than they were on her other siblings who for once never came to her rescue. . This went on till he point when she found her way out the door and never looked back. 5. THE "STEP" EFFECT: Simply put, step mother/step-siblings. . This is one reason why I am against "stepping" as 95% of the time, it always leads to sibling rivalry. I remember a case were a girl was thrown out at night in the middle of winter in the U.S with no place to go to, no money and the nearest relative over 8hours away by air. . . . That singular act broke the camels back that she dosent even talk to her step-brother who she confesses was very close to her when they were kids. WATCH OUT FOR PART 3
....really enlightening and interesting stuff you have up here! ....still waiting for part three... |
Nigerian men are as different as they come but there are a few traits that stand out.... HARDWORKING:belive it or not, they are!whether he's a mechanic,an accountant,a tearcher,an engineer or a farmer, they strive to earn good livings.they are natural hustlers! BOASTFUL:love showing off even if all they have on is borrowed stuff! SWEET-TONGUE:its a trait that stands out amongst most of them.open your ears to listen to them and you are finished! FUN LOVERS:you'll find them anywhere that as much as whispers FUN! Clubs, beaches,Asun spots,pepper-soup joints, beer parlours, parties and blah blah as long as its a place they can hang out with girls and sip their beer while time slowly passes away, for short, they love grooving! FUNNY:yes, they are!they find humour in anything and everything! They can make you laugh even when you are at the verge of tears.with them, its usually a no dull moment! LOVE FANCY THINGS:a drive through Lagos anyday of the week would get your wowing! A regular Nigerian guy loves these things and stives day and night to own them.Fancy cars, flashy clothes, beautiful home, hot girlfriend.mostly, its their primary dream! FOOD:you know how they say the key to man's heart is thru his stomach? Its true for a Nigerian man! Its the one thing he never jokes with! ...brb! |
