babyosisi: I was thinking pasuma was a woman and Ayo adesanya was some manMadam, you have made enough noise. That you don't know them doesn't make them local/unimportant. Leave the thread if you can't relate to people being discussed! |
lol. I like his sincerity.. ![]() |
Given the granpa's explanation and the fact that someone else took the picture, its innocent but of course seeing them like that makes all form of critisisms and assumptions appropriate considering the level of moral decadence and perversion existing these days. Though intentions are pure here,it shouldn't be encouraged. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was a picture taken in a village stream in 1972. This is 2013. The world's getting crazier by the day. |
Mad Cow: Mmuo OkijaNa wa!!! |
lmao@this thread.. I see no one remembered the Ok2Nv series. OK2NV OK-2-NV OK_2_NV OK2nv OKAY2NV....ans so on and forth.. And did i hear Okija -juju is Mad cow? ![]() He was also.. Another Okija and Alusi Okija at some point.. ![]() and what about Calloti with about 15 other alternates? Blazay, Lasinoh, Gambrosia and lots more..? ![]() ...and well,i've got two other altenate IDs... ![]() The 1 million plus nairaland registered members is a joke. Everyone should know that. |
Yes,I can. Infact,i have before.. Where is the big deal if its for health reasons? ![]() |
Ranks007: @OP you don talk better finish why you come put patience okowzor pix naa, if na dat kind mother-in-law person wan get na 48 ways to kill am for be the topic of this thread! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I said them as a kid both in school and at home and i say them now when i get to stay over someplace and get to eat there but i have dropped saying it at home since so long. ..and No,I don't say "thank you" when/because someone's doing me a favour.I say it because it feels like a noble thing to do. Showing appreciation/gratitude doesn't hurt even if they are your parents and itstheir duty to feed you. |
People write sincere letters like this all the time. All the covers letters i have written in my life this sincere. No inflatory remarks of any kind. As much as there's so much favoritism and influence is involved in Nigerian employment today, some organisations won't take anything less than qualified/sincerity in all respects influence or not. So yes, this kind of letter can work if it fits the profile of what the employer wants |
Azadus was such a fine musician.. Only that indigenous music wasn't so appreciated in his days... "You is the one" and "Madam" were raves. I feel really bad seeing him this way.. I do hope he bounces back somehow. The op too didn't do well by posting his pictures here. This mockery is so unnecessary. |
kingoflag: Eeeewwww!!!! Wtf is this ?! Very unsanitary!Duh! Throw up nah..! ![]() ..like say you nor dey see am everyday.. Mtcheeeeew. |
Interesting... Solid friendship this is..! Enviable too. ![]() |
She hinted that she was pregnant on a particular thread a while ago.. Congratulations to her. ..and why is the op calling her popular? No one knows her outside Nairalanders. The identity clash with Linda Ikeji won't do her so much good. |
nenergy: Nigerian families will call it a taboo. You can't even marry from the same family as your brother/sisters.I have seen it happen here in Nigeria. ![]() |
Mochedda aint gon do anything for this brand. How many people sabi am and how relevant is she? Whoever gave them this ambassadorial advice must be dumb. We'll see the end of it. ![]() |
Finally, something i have eaten... Esunsun. I used to love it as a kid especially when its fried...and it rocks with garri soaked in very chilled water. Not sure i can eat it anymore though... |
Go ask the students of L.A primary school who have excema all over them if they have ever been to a fast food joint in their lives... ![]() Nonsense report! |
2face and D'banj have always respected each other. Ask D'banj questions about 2face and he'll equally have nice things to say. Healthy rivalry! ![]() That said,i do not think 2face is right here.I'd love to believe the percentage of Nigerians who listen to indigenous artistes/music is far higher than those who listen to foreign artistes/music.We won't value D'banj any more as a foreign act if what he's been giving us lately is what he's got to offer. ![]() |
chaircover: How old are you?Good question! |
Op,who doesn't want comfort? You? It is a very logical factor to consider when making plans to marry/settle down IMO especially for someone who has been sufficiently comfortable all her life. It is more about survival than it is about personal choice or economy. |
Sweetlemon, please what did you study in school? Dramatic art? ![]() |
The female version of this thread was interesting and spanning over about 20 pages. This one never pass page one. Women are beautiful creatures for real! Its a shame we couldn't find at least 10 sexy 40yrs plus Nigerian men. Akpu and gulder belle nor gree! Shame! |
Odunnu:Is the picture exciting you or what? ![]() |
Yummy yummy. I forgot what we call them in Ekiti. They're very fatty and delicious.
Ileke!! Wetin you nor dey chop? This is the same way you were yummying on "do you eat frog" thread. Kai! |
Anvaller: Slimyem, u should have used the alternative proverb.. which is more easily comprehensible.hmmn.. I appreciate your opinion.. ![]() Thanks! |
I took my bad habit to the office.. I'm fond of folding up my shirt and stroking my navel. I was totally carried away this day and did it in the presence of two male colleagues. One of them just screamed "Stop that" at me and i had dropped with so much speed before i knew what had happened. I was embarrassed! ![]() |
I speak both english and yoruba in my home depending on what or who i'm talking about or to. ![]() |
all4naija: The words in bold don't make much sense to me,seriously! Its a direct interpretation of a yoruba saying.. I can't explain better. ![]() |
