gudugba1: I think Seun and Mukinat should urgently look into the feasibility of such idea....There is nothing as bad as an umpire without a sense of fairness. Asking people not to create new account when banned is useless when the a mod turns it into an instrument of vendetta and crass abuse. like apartheid, injustice breeds lawlessness because you cannot sit on a man's back and ask him not to complain of inconvenience. |
taharqa: @emboldened, The ONLY person who deserve that word 'Progressive' in d true sense of that word. And (maybe to an extent) others like @takedat, @HNsogbe, @eGuerilla, @redsun, @Tolexander,@ba7man, etc...... BUT, if people like @blogblowwer,@unCleverly, @Eko Ole, @Apostle Gbawe, @Blacktooth, @muDEMmuDEM, @Paylessness, @Yoruworst, @CyberGii, @seaneto1-100, @Patakipatapata, @Muhajid Lacasa, @Airhead, @Agbagboro, @Miss Berem, and of course your humble self etc etc, are 'Progressives', then may God in his Infinite Mercies forgive and bloat out those days of my own 'Progressiveness' and make me NEVER to share any such common attributes to the above Clowns. AMEN, ami Jesu...Your list is like a tea party republican member creating a list of bad democrats. I consider everyone on the list of a self confessed former progressive that backslid to be honored! |
omenka: And what have you achieved for ur imidiate nuclear family so farDo you usually share what you have achieved for your own immediate nuclear family on a public forum? |
talktimi: "progressives" who abuse igbo people just for being igbo ? Very funny indeed.. Progressives who cant get their points across without hurling insults arent a bunch any right thinking democrat will want to roll with, if you tell me naptu2 is a progressive then i will take you seriously not these ones who shout "akputic" or support internal deportation and dumping of Nigerians by the roadside at 3am in the morning claiming they were reunited with their families.. Sick country shaYour problem is that you have allowed tribal sentiment to blur your judgement. And i will give you one reason. You said progressives abuse igbo people but then goes ahead to expose the fact that you are tribally prejudiced yourself. If you are not, you will agree that the so called deportation saga does not have any tribal coloration. Except you want to tell me that osun, akwa ibom, kano, anambra, oyo ,rivers, FCT etc are all peopled by a single tribe. Indeed, the reason for all the brouhaha was to score a cheap political point. Thanks to people like peter obi, we all missed a good opportunity to debate and dispassionately discuss the issue of how to properly handle the problem of destitute on our major urban cities. |
Kairoseki77: Look at all these people violating rule 19!This is how dictatorship and tyranny creeps into any system. If a man that abuses his power also sought and utilize the power to silence or censure anyone that dares to express a grievance to that abuse, then we are going to end up with a tyrant. If i follow your argument, no MOD can and should be held accountable for his or her action. And we complain about our leaders? I am sure if you are in government, i am sure you will make a law that anyone that criticizes any of your actions or injustice should be jailed. |
gudugba: The dude is too reserved and focus to engage in such....Vague is an understatement. Completely asinine is more like it. Like i once got banned by afams for 'making tribalistic remark'! You can easily ban everyone on nairaland politics section for that reason! |
Lagosbabe1: Exactly! It is a shame for Seun and to be fair I feel for Oamj4, he knows that Yorubas are targetted by Sexkiilsz but he has no choice but to support their actions,i thought i was the only one that have noticed this pattern. it is disgraceful that whoever plays a supervisory role over these guys have not bothered to investigate. One way out:Mods should be forced to publish a weekly ban list with reasons and link to offending post. That way, unprofessional, biased umpires will be properly exposed for their tribally motivated agenda. |
cjrane: When will these tactical blunders end?I suppose the chairman of the appeal panel that upholds the disqualification is also Yoruba as well! |
Abagworo: There's still hope for Soludo but I still wonder why people are blind to what Obi did to APGA and made it seem like Rochas caused APGA's crisis. APGA was in crisis when Rochas came in and he had to leave because of the lingering crisis. The remaining APGA will be collapsed into PDP as planned much earlier. Soludo will not have a free hand if he enters the way he is about to. Rochas has his powers from the masses and not political party and he has already relieved himself of the last grasp of the Godfathers by replacing his deputy.join a party and build the strucure from scratch before the November election? |
asha 80: i still believe there is a chess game being played here.ok soludo was refused....why was obaze and idigo refused too?compromise from political negotiation. you are right.it is a political chess game. I only wish some people understand what that means. |
FreeGlobe: something fishy is going on. come to think of it even Peter Obi's oseloka obaze was also disqualified. We have not heard the last of this. I kinda want to believe you, Victor umeh has always been loyal to Ifeanyi. Uba, he may be the sellout herewhat about if umeh wanted SOLUDO and obi wanted obaze and the compromise is no SOLUDO , no blaze ? if soludo is naive enough to think he could join a party like APGA at the eleventh hour and pick the ticket, then to me he is even more naive than his misguided army of supporters on nairaland. seriously, most of soludo supporters here are passionate but very, very politically naive. |
FreeGlobe: my brother Peter Obi stole Anambra State dry, the state today is like it was 8 years ago or even worse. The man has stuffed enough cash in his fidelity bank that he does not know what to do with, that's why he has embarked on "money dashing" spree. I heard he paid off Victor Umeh with 8 billion naira to settle APGA.Basically what you are admitting to is that APGA has not done anything in the last eight years. but steal the resources of your state dry. at the same time, you expect such a party to feel comfortable enough to make a completely new member whose loyalty they cannot vouch for their governorship candidate. this to me is the height of political naivety! sentiment and hatred will lead some people to cut their nose in other to spite their own face! |
Onlytruth: I take it you believe we have heard the last of this, right?if you believe that SOLUDO will have APGA ticket without OBI's support, then dream on. every politician knows his survival depends on the person that succeeds him. Don't be deceived, soludo is not APGA but just wants to use OBI and APGA to win the governorship of a anambra state and return eventually to the PDP. no politician that has tasted national politics for some time ever truely return to a regional party. what most of them do - okorocha and ohakim - is to use the local popularity of such parties and then return to their original national party like ohakim did or seek another national party like okorocha just did. OBI knew this, but wanted to kill two birds with one stone. neutralise SOLUDO and teach him the political lesson of his life. this are some of the points that rhino guy masterly foretold days before the reality is coming out. INTERESTINGLY ALL SOLUDO SUPPORTERS ON NAIRA LAND ARE STILL LIVING IN DENIAL EVEN WHEN THE REALITY IS GLARING! |
Onlytruth: You are there beating off, and wallowing in your stewpidity, expecting me to join you. lolClear for road? I don't know him, but at least give the devil his due., the guy predicted many days agoeverything unfolding right now like a prophet. |
Marotzke: And in your demented delusions you believe that?. Your Yoruba brother was paid to do a job , and he has done it. Soludo's naivety is just annoying. After being economic adviser to Atiku , he wants to waltz into Awka Govt house through APGA. I suppose. Obi's feminine voice deceived him. Oseloka. Obaze will be the next governor not because he is the best candidate, but a trickish Peter Obi will Install him, while at the same time swearing by the blessed virgin that he (peter Obi) does not believe in God fatherism.you did'nt get the joke! |
malc619: Why was he disqualified??it is a gland conspiracy by NGIGE and his Yoruba friends to destabilize APGA! |
This is what Pastor bakare said at the convention venue ib abuja on may 11th 2013 Pastor Tunde Bakare, the CPC presidential running mate in 2011 election, said that merger of political parties was not a gang-up, but a constitutional democratic process. |
5columnist: You sense of comprehension is poor. Nobody thinks Tunde Bakare is the real deal. What you can take away from statements like this one is that APC is already a house divided within upon birth. All politicians are thieves, thus APC should stop playing angels because they are worse. Tunde has the tendency to stand by the truth sometimes, but what he doesn't understand is that Politics and the Bible does not really mix well, because his deeds in the past will come back to hunt him. So get it straight. How does this indicate APC is already a house divided against itself? Look at the time lines: Bakare gave the interview in March The convention he moved the motion for the merger was in the middle of may The APC was formally registered as a party in July. Desperate PDP goons on nairaland dredged up the interview of march to score cheap political point not knowing that Tunde Bakare's position has changed by May. Can you now see that it is your own sense of comprehension that is abysmally muddled up? |
Pataki: PDP rogues can now infest this thread and spew their bile.Pastor tunde bakare made this statement in march. But he was the same person that moved the motion for the merger during the CPC's last convention The Congress for Progressive Change, CPC held its last National Convention as an independent party at the Eagles’ Square in Abuja today. During the convention, the party was formally dissolved, and is now set to join the new All Progressives Congress. As for the PDP / Jonathan apologist rushing to spew their bile, i have a simple question: If Pastor Tunde bakare is now the great purveyor of truth, does it mean that his prophesy that jonathan is destined to preside over the balkanisation of Nigeria also true? |
Gbawe: With all due respect, we must give to Asiwaju what is Asiwaju same as we "give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar". Tinubu initiated many innovations, including BRT, Fashola has gotten credit for. Eko Atlantic City was Tinubu's 'baby' entirely. To me one is the CONCEPTUALIZER and the FOUNDATION BUILDER, who then discovers and nurture an ACTUALIZER. The CONCEPTUALIZER's prize is that the actualizer he discovered, and then proclaimed to everybody then as the best man for the Job, ( and risked every thing politically for) has now completely vindicated him. All this goes to underscore the importance of continuity of policy conceptualization and implementation in governance. I only wish we do not have a totally inept and incompetent government at the center this past fourteen wasted years. |
Demdem: Believe me, if not for our doggedness, the chap will simply allow it to pass.Yes. I also salute you guys doggedness. I have never believed in that mod sense of fair play. |
duality: Those whose celebrated Tunde Bakare when his weekly sermons were about GEJ will hate him now; simply because he spoke about their much loved APCDuring the last convention of CPC where the decision for the merger was approved, guess who the moved the motion? Please do not take my words for it. Pastor Tunde Bakare, the CPC presidential running mate in 2011 election, said that merger of political parties was not a gang-up, but a constitutional democratic process. This was reported by all the major nigerian newspaper. Also see picture of Pastor Tunde bakare on the convention venue in the link below http://ynaija.com/politico/cpcs-last-convention-as-cpc-photos/ Please feel free to draw your own conclusions. |
dangiwa09: I rarely do rejoinders, I tend to hope that Nigerians would be concerned enough to do their own fact-check about issues in their country, but since you asked so nicely, I'll point you where to look if you care to do so.Thanks. Do you know that i have not even clicked on your link when i described them as intellectual frauds. They are not an independent organisation as your link as shown. I repeat CACOL is nothing but a bunch of intellectual frauds and mercenary writers. |
