if it is on the right hand side, then the car was definitely converted.


but if it is on the left hand side like this car, then it is not a converted car.

why are the wipers on this car like it is on the picture?

Unlike Japs and some Euro vehicles where the handbrake position showed the original driving position, twasn't so for the Peugeot. Its handbrake is always at the left side regardless of steering location. So except the conversion is very obvious, may be hard to tell from the dashboard. However, the wipers give a conversion away. Since the frames for holding the wipers are bolted onto the bodyframe, coupled with the fact that RHD and LHD wiper frames share similar distances, altering the location is not really cost beneficial (most converters of RHD 406s do so to resell). To remedy that, they install LHD compatible wiper stalks over the original subframe. That stalk is what you see there.

Oga Gazzuzz, hope the upholstery guys can replicate the slight ruffles in the Honda leather seat design. Most upholsterers I've come across either can't or do not bother. Hence, even with matching leather and clean stitching, its easy to separate the refurb front seats from the factory rear seats.

There's something off putting about Subarus to me. They have this staid, nonchalant look like they were designed for either old, retiring people or people with old school mindset. The Baja pickup though is slowly gaining ground in my parts, and that's the only interesting Subaru I've seen.

On a scratch of some part of the car, you can get a good car expert to do a repaint after carefully agreeing to the material and color to use. On the whole body of the car, i suggest you take it to the manufacturer. On a warranty, it shouldnt be costly
