God is the totality of the consciousness of the universe. God is not a man or a human being. And time after time I have always maintained that the letter killeth and have opened a thread to that effect. The story of the garden of eden is not to be taken literal. It is a recast of an earlier Babylonian epic about how man forfeited the chance to dwell on earth indefinitely....it is not a real story neither is it historical. We are meant to read them and learn the messages they contain...
The Torah is a law book of rights, privileges and laws...to guide our choices.

Even when we do make wrong choices, it still prescribed solutions and punishments..

Human are Spirits residing in a body or vessel fashioned from the DUST of the earth. The spirit on its own is spotless. But when it enters a body it animates it and brings the vessel to life. When it departs , death accurs.

Is it just woman that is the Spirit Robot that can not make choices and must just do what God commanded her to do, while the man is the one "endowed with the ability and capacity to make choices" and is free therefore to have experiences?

I ask because in the text I quoted in my initial question I think it was the other way around. That Adam was the mindless robot who did what he was told, while the woman Eve was no robot at all, but decided to check with her own senses to gain experience if what she was told was true or not true.

I will answer you with a simple analogy.
You created a robot to help you wash your car in the morning. And everyday by 5 am he gets up and washes the car that's what he does day in day out for millions of years without complaining. Sound good doesn't it. What if you take out the OS and upgraded it such that it can perform so many functions..
The first thing you probably will do will be to test run it..if you say " don't smash the windshield "? And it does anyway....does it not mean your upgrade worked? Because it can perform another function and maybe a thousand more...

Like I said before we are spiritual being having a human experience. Spirits can't make choices they do whatever God has created them yo do. God created man and endowed it with the ability and capacity to make choices. Sometimes our choices are not favorable to us and our neighbor.. so because also we have the tendency to commit evil. God decreec that our stay on earth should not exceed 120 years. When we "die" our spirits return to him our body return to earth..to default settings..
