Bishopkingsley:If Jesus is God, why was he asking God to forgive the sins of his killers? In Luke 23:34... Food for thought.. |
CareerMom:Are you going to be the change ? Because that is the next step... |

The white man is crafty... Sending the black man on a wild goose chase.... I said it like 4 years ago, the white man must and will return everything they stole from us.. Now they want to return our artifacts. Next it will be our spirituality... Book make this point.. |
Bishopkingsley:Hehe hehe......my ear don full today... Ignorance and illiteracy is our biggest problem. |
Bishopkingsley:Are you high on drugs? When did The Creator say that? Read Isaiah 45. |
God created us with two inclinations..inclination to do good and inclination to do evil or sin. So any body talking about hell is just a slowpoke... God also told us that he has given us the power to rule over sin. Even if we do sin, sincere repentance is the only way back to God. Not worshipping or given your life to a god the romans created in the image of a man. That is classic idolatry. Run from it.. |
Is the messiah going to save you or redeem you? being saved is a Christian term. Saved from what? Redemption is what it’s all about. Now that you know this go and read the Torah correctly, honestly what saving did you need in the first place? Example of the word redeem ; redeemed for money. (isiah 52:3). Where in the Torah does it say one needs to worship a messiah to be saved? Messiah and Savior are NOT the same word. Everytime Messiah (Mashiach) is mentioned it is a human who was annointed. Everytime Savior (Moshia) is mentioned it is talking about God... It is not my lord spoke to the lord.I am going to show you an example of Moshia isiah 43:11I, I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. God is the Moshia or Savior while the annointed king or Messiah is Mashiach. What is saved or to be redeemed? Being redeemed does not equal saved. saved in the torah refers to the physical life being rescued from danger. It has nothing to do with the immortal soul and does not need to be "saved" from hell. The root word is גאל (redeem) means to buy something back. Moses redeemed Israel from slavery. We are not even talking sins. we have repentance and that means regret what you did learn from your mistake and seek forgiveness. Repentance means return to god. look up of the word משיע (savior) in the Jewish scriptures shows up over 250 times and consistently carries the idea of BEING SAVED FROM ONE'S ENEMIES and NOT TO BE SAVED FROM SIN! The point about sin is that God has given us mastery over it and where one needs forgiveness God has provided repentance which effects his forgiveness. What you do does count, especially when it comes to repentance but do not take my word for it: 12 “Therefore you, O son of man, say to the children of your people: ‘The righteousness of the righteous man shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression; as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall because of it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor shall the righteous be able to live because of his righteousness in the day that he sins.’ 13 When I say to the righteous that he shall surely live, but he trusts in his own righteousness and commits iniquity, none of his righteous works shall be remembered; but because of the iniquity that he has committed, he shall die. 14 Again, when I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ if he turns from his sin and does what is lawful and right, 15 if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has stolen, and walks in the statutes of life without committing iniquity, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 16 None of his sins which he has committed shall be remembered against him; he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live. Ezek 33 Moses has parents he were generically referred to (Exodus 2:1) as "a man and woman from the tribe of Levi. He was a human who was born to regular human parents, as opposed to those who would believe that holy men must be descended directly from God. the Torah doesn't give Moshe's parents any praise for merely bringing such a special child into the world. when Moshe had grown up and matured to a level where God selected him to be the redeemer of the Jewish people and receiver of the Torah, did the Torah mention (Exodus 6:20) the names of his parents to extol them for taking his tremendous raw potential and raising him in a manner which allowed it to be translated into action. Being born of a virgin is not a qualification for a Messiah. Isiah 40:25"Now, to whom will you compare Me that I should be equal?" says the Holy One. He has no equal!! Nobody can save but god himself! Isiah 42:8I am the Lord, that is My Name; and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to the graven images. Why would you try to give jesus all the glory? Isiah 43:10"You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "and My servant whom I chose," in order that you know and believe Me, and ((understand that I am He; before Me no god was formed and after Me none shall be.) There Shall never ever be! Are you ready for the word Moshia? 11I, I am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior. (Isaiah 33:22For the Lord is our judge; the Lord is our ruler; the Lord is our king; He shall save us. : only he can he is the king of the Jews!!! ) Elijah will return as a prophet and announce the coming of the Messiah, as it is written, "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of God" (Malachi 3:23). This is necessary because (the Messiah will be a king, and a king can be anointed only by a prophet.) Did you think he was coming just to enjoy a party? Yes there is a possibility that two messiah's might arrive!! Mashiach ben Yosef, and the final Messiah Mashiach ben Dovid... "Ephraim's envy will depart and Judah's adversaries will be cut off. Ephraim will not envy Judah, and Judah will not harass Ephraim" (Isaiah 11:13). That is, each Messiah will perform his appointed task, without jealousy. It is likewise written, "Son of man, take a stick, and write upon it, 'For Judah, and the children of Israel, his companions.' Then take another stick, and write upon it, 'For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel, his companions.' Join them together into one stick, so that they are one in your hand" (Ezekiel 37:16-17). They work together!!!! Messiah will fight and be killed in the war of Gog and Magog. He will be mourned by all Israel, as it is written, "They shall look to Me because they have thrust him through, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns his first born son" (Zechariah 12:10). Which one of those is jesus? Think about it.... Christianity claims zechariah 12;10 for jesus and here it's telling you that that's the messiah who will die!!!! Are we going to mourn for jesus? Are you guys being serious? Some maintain that Elijah is a kohen, who will serve as the High Priest in the days of the Messiah, in the Third Temple. who knows! Who would be better for that job? |
1Sharon:The devil is a Christian creation... |
Jacksparrow7:Yes..it won't make you less of a man. Courtesy... |
Jacksparrow7:God is not a man or human being....nobody is listening to you. You are only talking to yourself... The challenge of life is to live in peace. In other to do that we need ground rules...so obeying them will make us more civil and have a more fulfilling and purposeful human experience. At the end of the day, we are God's breath dwelling within a physical body fashioned from the DUST OF the earth.. when God takes his breath (or spirit) the body experiences " death". The body is buried so as to return to the earth.. We are all different human versions of Gods breath... |
Jacksparrow7:Please sir/madam I want to buy a loaf or loaves of bread.... |
The only way to worship God is to obey his commandments...any other thing is a fucckibg waste of time.. |

Why is it so hard to understand that the messiah is not a god? He is fully human as Moses was…. Yes Moses communicated with god but he was human. The mom must be Jewish (Sarah and not agar ) father must be from the tribe of Judah. The father can not be god or a ghost/spirit. HERE IS WHAT TORAH SAYS ABOUT THE MESSIAH TO PROF HE IS HUMAN. the Messiah will die and his son will reign in his place, and [likewise] his grandson. And THE PROPHET HAS ALREADY ELUCIDATED HIS DEATH!!!! He will not tire and will not be crushed until he puts justice in the world"(Isaiah 42:5). Jesus died he has a beginning he had an end and he did not accomplish justice in the world. The verse says until he gets this done he won’t die! But he will eventually die after accomplishing this!!! Whether it be 100 years later or a thousand! He is going to die! Did the nations really miss this? How can Jews believe in a god or son of god that is half god half human and never dies? The NT contradicts everything messiah in it! Wake up… god is not a liar and there are plenty of verses for messiah and how it may play out…. For example messiah Ben Yosef might come first and die and than messiah Ben David takes over… but they both work together in the same generation!!! So who is Jesus now? Ben Yosef or Ben David?? What if we merit it? Than messiah Ben Yosef won’t come!! It all depends on our actions! But one thing for sure percent!!! No if or a maybe… messiah one day will die as we all do. There is no living on earth forever and ever otherwise we might as well become the 1 true god. God forbid! Yes there are lots of passages how messiah will come but no it’s not percent how he will arrive. Yes there is a set time when messiah is to arrive and god has a set time for him but we can merit it earlier do to our actions. His kingdom will endure forever but he will die. |
Jesus and devil are both Christian invention...whatever happens whether good or evil happens because it is the will of God.. God does not need anybody to die before he forgives. All he ever asked for is a sincere repentance.. the Messiah the Jewish prophet is a normal human who is coming to rule in an Era of peace. He will have a human father from the tribe of Judah and a mother who is Jewish. No spirit in the kingly line. The idea that a spirit impregnated a woman should have been the first red flag but you all had to suspend the use of your Brian just to accept the Roman bull sheet. You all have to desist from idolatry. It is one of the sin the Creator hates.. |
FreelanceRebel:Can you answer this please...?

Kobojunkie:So why the hell you give a damn about the story in a book, you don't even know the author. You don't even know 8f the author is famous for writing fictions or none fictions. The story is as important as iron man snapping his fingers in end game. None has any effect of real life.... |
Kobojunkie:In MCU right?.... How would it affect the price of a litre of fuel in Nigeria or the outcome of election in Nigeria? |
How would the world have been if Iron man did not snap his fingers in end game? |
The answer to your question is there in the Bible book of Genesis chapter 1:26-28 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. I have copied MaxInDHouse quote. I want to draw our attention to one word (bold). That Replenish. Except that word has lost its meaning. I think God never intended man to live forever on earth. I mean what would have been the purpose of life without death? Life and death are the brothers of the same parents. Or the two sides of a coin. One can not exist without the other, but at the end it will dissolve into its earliest form. I have said it here time and time again. Trying to make sense of spiritual stories is furtile. We are expected to learn the messages they contain. The Adam and Eve story is a recast of an earlier Babylonian epic. It is just a story of how man forfeited the chance to dwell indefinitely on earth. Every society has one.. God punished them because they refused to take responsibility for their action. Exactly what the serpent said was going to happen is what happened.. So in my opinion. It is/was God's plan all along.. |
Are men allowed to update the Torah? Christians believe blindly Paul’s claims that Jesus appeared to him and follow his version of Jesus" teachings and a so-called new covenant despite contradicting Torah’s teachings. God appeared to a nation and gave them 613 commandments. He said they were eternal, everlasting, binding for all generations. Three million Jews, the whole nation, heard God speak to Moses, which is how we know he is a true prophet. There is NOT ONE commandment about worshiping God's son or the Messiah. How many Jews heard God speak to any of the Christian Bible authors like Paul, Luke, Matthew, Mark, or Luke? NONE!!!!! They don't have the right to cancel anything that God taught through Moses! There are horrifying threats for disobeying these commandments in Deuteronomy 28. Deut 13 explicitly recognizes the possibility of miracles of false prophets and says, "Do not hearken unto that prophet." Why follow obscure private revelations when Judaism has the most reliable foundation of all the religions in history, a National Revelation from God? There is no more spiritual joy than keeping God’s commandments and worshipping our Creator directly. |
awitness41:Is that what the jews told you or just your opinion? Last time I checked, all the laws of God where for ever.. |
Satan is a Christian creation..just like their false god Jesus... |
xproducer:The Hebrew doesn't say the servant takes away sin. It says the servant suffered FROM the sins of the nations. Wicked people often hurt other people, and that's exactly what led up to the genocide of the holocaust. They had no voice as they were herded into cattle cars and exterminated by the thousands, because no one was listening until it became a problem that crept into their own back yard. The US is guilty of ignoring the problem until Pearl Harbor was attacked. |
Kobojunkie:What's your counter? |
Jashub:Have you said something? |
Isaiah speaks of ISRAEL as the Suffering Servant Isaiah 53 is the other chapter that apologists point to as predicting the death of Jesus, but, like the claims for Psalm 22, we’ll see that this also falls flat. The apologists will point to several phrases in Isaiah 53 (and the last few verses of the preceding chapter) that parallel the crucifixion. Verse 52:14: “there were many who were appalled at him; his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being.” Some say that this refers to the beatings Jesus received, though his ugly appearance is never mentioned in the New Testament. Verse 53:3: “He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.” Jesus should have been recognized as the Messiah, but the gospels tell us that his own people rejected him. On the other hand, “he was despised” doesn’t sound like the charismatic rabbi who preached to thousands of attentive listeners and had a triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. And “a man of suffering … familiar with pain” might’ve been the life of an ascetic like John the Baptist, but this doesn’t describe Jesus. Verse 53:7: “he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent.” The synoptic gospels agree that Jesus was silent before his accusers (though John 18:34–19:11 doesn’t). Verse 53:8: in response to the trial and sentencing of Jesus, “who of his generation protested?” Jesus was on his own, and none of his disciples tried to intervene. Verse 53:9: “He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death.” This is often interpreted to mean that Jesus ought to have been buried with criminals but was actually buried with the rich. This ties in with the burial of Jesus in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea. Finally, from 53:5 to the end of the chapter, almost every verse gives some version of the idea of the suffering servant taking on the burdens of his people—“he was pierced for our transgressions … by his wounds we are healed” (:5), “for the transgression of my people he was punished” (: , “he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors” (:12), and so on.Taken as this collection of verse fragments, the case looks intriguing, but taken as a whole—that is, letting the chapter speak for itself—the story falls apart. First, let’s look at some of the verses discarded by the apologists. Verse 52:15: “so will many nations be amazed at him and kings will shut their mouths because of him.” The nations will be amazed and the kings speechless? Nope, not only was Jesus not internationally famous during his lifetime, history records nothing of his life outside the gospels. True, we have evidence of his followers from historians such as Josephus, Tacitus, and Suetonius, but it is curious that we have nothing about the works of Jesus himself from prolific contemporary authors such as Philo of Alexandria, Seneca, and Pliny the Elder. Apparently he wasn’t as famous as imagined prophecy would have him be. Verse 53:10: “he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.” This is a nice thought—Jesus endures great trials but then, like Job, he is rewarded with children, prosperity, and long life. As Proverbs says, “Grandchildren are the crown of old men.” Too bad this isn’t how the gospel story plays out. Verse 53:11: “my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.” Let’s revisit this suffering servant thing. Jesus, a person of the Trinity and equal to God the Father, is now God’s servant? Note that “messiah” simply means “anointed one” and that the Tanach, OT, is fairly liberal with the title messiah. Kings and high priests were anointed as messiahs. Heck, Cyrus the Great of Persia was even a messiah (see Isaiah 45:1). But surely no Christian can accept the logic, “Well, David was a messiah, and he was a servant of God; why not Jesus as well?” Jesus was certainly not in the same category as David. And here’s the big one: “Therefore I will give him a portion among the great [or many] and he will divide the spoils with the strong [or numerous]” (verse 53:12). Like a warrior who gets a share of the spoils of the battle, the servant will be richly rewarded. This servant is just one among many who gets a portion. Wait a minute—Jesus has peers? He’s one among equals, just “one of the great”? What kind of nonsense is this? Again, this bears no resemblance to the Jesus of the gospels. This all makes more sense if the “he” of this chapter is seen as Israel, not Jesus. In the section of Isaiah from Chapter 40 onwards, a servant is mentioned nineteen times, in the Servant Songs. Isaiah 41:8 reads "But you, O Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you descendants of Abraham my friend," Isaiah 44:1 reads "But now listen, O Jacob, my servant, Israel, whom I have chosen". Isaiah 44:21 reads "Remember these things, O Jacob, for you are my servant, O Israel. I have made you, you are my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you." Isaiah 45:4 reads "For the sake of Jacob my servant, of Israel my chosen, I summon you by name and bestow on you a title of honour, though you do not acknowledge me." In fact over a half of the "servant" verses clearly speak of the nation Israel, or the Jewish people. Isaiah 53 is another failed prophecy. The point of any crucifixion story would be the so-called “resurrection, ” which is not present in this chapter. |
hupernikao:According to the Catholic Encyclopedia the founding Fathers of the Church believed that JESUS WAS NOT GOD, and later according to the facts in the Britannica Encyclopedia, the Catholic Bishops who attended the Church Council held in 341 AD in Antioch also believed that JESUS WAS NOT GOD nor was equal to God in anyway. This 341 AD Catholic doctrine nullified the Nicene Creed written in 325 AD, which proclaimed Jesus was God essentially making it a heretical teaching, a “Heresy” against the one true God and the Catholic Church. Later in 350 AD when the Emperor of Rome Constantius II took full power, Christian Arianism, which believed Jesus was not God, became the official Catholic Church teaching, and the people who believed Jesus was God (Nicene Party/Orthodox Christians) were said to have been “Largely Crushed”, as written in the Britannica encyclopedia. After the death of the Emperor of Rome Constantius II, the Nicene party (Orthodox Christians) regained influence and power and in 381 AD they held another Church Council reaffirming the Nicene Creed, which believed Jesus was God being part of a Trinity of three separate male gods that were one god. The tale of Jesus of Nazareth is a plagiaristic fable of Greek origins, constructed from various stories in the Tanakh that were about other people and events that had already occurred in that book’s timeline. Not only is Jesus not god, and can be considered to be a false god, but his entire story including the claim that he is the anointed King of the Jews as foretold in the Tanakh, is a plagiaristic fable copied from parts of older stories that already occurred hundreds of years earlier in the Tanakh timeline. |
hupernikao:Nobody knew anything about anybody by that name prior to the council of Nicea. It was emperor Constantine who wanted a single religion for his empire that gathered all the religious leaders to Nicea. It was at that council after about 2 years of deliberations that the character was created as the new God of Christianity... Eusebius was mandated to prepare a single documents from the manuscript provided by the leaders. Any body that did not believe was good as dead... The rest is history. |
