God never asked for a mediator ..in fact, he even forbade it in its commandments " Do not have any other God before me " No mediator or intermediary ..

It is that God you are talking about that is dwelling inside this our body that was fashioned from the dust of the earth...He fashioned a man from the dust of the earth and he sent his spirit or breath(both are same) through the nostril of the statue he made, and it came to live...when he takes that breath or spirit , it will remain just the lifeless body that will also return to dust in dew time...the spirit is the creators spirit or God as you know it..it is pure and does not need saving from anything..so in a way this body was created as an abode for Gods spirit..while it is dwelling in this body , The creator only gave us laws to make the spirit stay more purposeful and fulfilling .whether 1 Jesu's dies or 2 jesuses..it does not have any benefit..death is just a return to the initial state..
