Seun: Dear Igbo People,
I sincerely apologize for allowing a toxic political banner advert which said, "Lagos can never be run from Anambra; go and vote" to run on Nairaland for several hours on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
The mischievously worded banner advert appears to have been part of an ethnically divisive political campaign aimed at securing Lagos State for the ruling party by instilling fear in Yoruba people, making them believe that Igbo people intended to "take over" Lagos State.
Such ethnically divisive political campaigns have no place in a forward-thinking democracy, and for this reason, the ad should have been taken down instantly. No harm was intended, but my lack of forethought about the ethics of that type of advert led to a disappointing outcome.
We should have had a clear policy against accepting negative and ethnically divisive ads on Nairaland, we should have communicated it to all advertisers, and we should have taken down any advert that violated that policy instantly. This will all be in place before the next election.
We made almost N16,000 from the ad. We will double it and donate it to victims of political violence in Lagos.
Please, do NOT give up on Nigeria. The times are challenging, but TOGETHER, we will overcome.
Sincerely, Seun Osewa. Did you ever (or your mods) take down "Edo no be Lagos" posts/images on nairaland? |

oluztx: Delta State - APC is Silently Rigging Governorship to Steal Oil Money. Deltans, abeg go INEC website go see for yourselves. APC dey win with landslide. How is this possible?
https://inecelectionresults.ng/elections/6407c4d8e71da06b67b8fb49/context/ward/lga/5f0f39874d89fc3a883de183 Most deltans thou traditionally PDP are tired of said party as each successive PDP government has proven worst than the previous ones. Okowa just seats in asaba and brazenly steels money. Also seems some deltans do trust the devil they know, APC, more than the angel they don't know, LP. Lastly APC tried to form alliance with the know traditionally strong areas for rigging of elections in the state. If these people are able to agree with the APC, then Ovie-Omo Age is the next governor of the state. For a long time now, a lot of deltans have been planning to vote APC at state level even before the Elluuppeee movement ever began. |

Can she become celibate effortlessly if she decides to? And can she stick to one man too if she decides to? Is it difficult to do so?
And such a woman that wants to go this path of celibacy, what are the things you would say to her?
I would appreciate your suggestions and opinions. Thanks. She counted 1 - 33. What was her initial plan? |

As usual, Buhari’s intentions are always clear but sycophants working with him always ruin it. He is running against time to salvage the little left of his reputation which has been badly damaged. Let’s see how well he will do at the last lap. But you guys said Buhari is a failure so which legacy again? Unless you mean they are destroying the legacy of failure. |
