Pauldollars:
You're a clown to think Tinubu will win in Bauchi State.
I live here in Bauchi State. Majority of People in Bauchi are quite educated compared to other Northern States

PDP- Atiku
NNPP- Kwankwaso
LP: Obi
APC: Tinubu

Peter Obi has the major support from Christians in Bauchi who constitute 30-35 percent of the population.
No need for insults sir, kindly drop reasonable comments on your opinion. Nobody has insulted you here.
PoliticsOpinion: States Capable Of Giving Over 500,000 Votes To Bola Tinubu by sonofthunder(op): 9:44am On Feb 24, 2023
Here, we would not be discussing any of the states projected to give Bola Ahmed Tinubu 1 million votes as the half a million plus votes is assured in those states. Failure to clinch such numbers in any of those states would spell that he is not the overall Favorite in the election which would leave the APC in need of a miracle from other states.

Let's see the states the APC will be banking on for support:

1.) BAUCHI STATE: The projection here is largely based on the strong and convincing performance of the APC here in 2019. It will be almost impossible for them to lose over 250,000 votes to fall below the 500,000 votes mark. Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be expecting a win here but will not fold his hands to relax until final results are announced. Major fear for the APC will be a low turnout of voters.

2.) JIGAWA STATE: Similar to Bauchi above, projection is based on the performance of the APC in the state in 2019. While the APC looks set to win at the federal level, a stronger battle from the Waziri of adamawa could see them lose a few votes to the opposition which could take them below the half a million votes mark.

3-4.) KEBBI/NIGER STATE: These states will still be won by the APC and a sizeable number of votes are expected to be cast. If BAT underperforms in any of his 1 million plus states, Kebbi and Niger state will ease the burden.

5.) OYO STATE: A very weak projection whose chances will only be helped with a large turnout of voters. Despite the All-Progressive Congress narrowly losing this state in 2019, they are expected to receive better support this election season although there is little guarantee of hitting the above stated benchmark.

6.) SOKOTO STATE: Just like Zamfara and a few northern states, the PDP has put in some efforts to unsettle the APC but are likely to come short of pulling an upset on the ruling party, nevertheless, Tinubu/Shettima should watch their backs as the NNPP/LP would be looking to grab as much "crumbs" as they can find. Let's see how it plays out.

7.) YOBE STATE: Another state where the influence and connections of the APC vice presidential candidate is expected to spread to. A sister state to Bornu, the PDP may just be fighting a losing battle here and may need to redirect their resources to other states but the important 25% of votes remain within their reach.

8.) ZAMFARA STATE?: This is slightly weak projection for the APC with some analyst speculating a significant loss of voters to the PDP. The real figures will be revealed after the votes are counted.

CAVEAT: This is not a declaration that the above-named candidate(s) will win the forth coming general elections.

PoliticsOpinion: States Capable Of Giving Over 500,000 Votes To Atiku by sonofthunder(op): 9:06am On Feb 24, 2023
Atiku Abubakar is one of the major contenders in the 2023 general elections. He has nursed and pursued this ambition for about three (3) decades and may likely throw in the towel this time around if he fails to beat other candidates to victory.

He's had the opportunity to serve the nation as Vice President and has contested severally in the past to become the nation's number one man. With Peter Obi running of with some of the PDP support base, Atiku will be relying on massive support from his supporters in the northern part of the country.

Let's take a look at his strongest states:

1.) ADAMAWA STATE: This is the home state of the Waziri of adamawa, and although he failed to hit the above slated benchmark in a state he won in 2019, the people of adamawa will be expected to grant their own even greater support come Saturday.

2.) KADUNA STATE: This was one of the states where the PDP gave the APC a strong chase in 2019 and despite strong chances of hitting the 500,000 voters mark, this achievement will be dependent both on how many votes the LP and NNPP will be snatching from the PDP, as well as number of voters the PDP can snatch from the APC. Atiku was just 1000 voters short of 650,000 votes in 2019 which was largely impressive.

3.) KANO STATE: Another state where achieving the above feat will be dependent on wooing disgruntled APC supporters after failure to convince the NNPP to join structure with the PDP at the presidential level. While the chances of the PDP having 500,000 plus votes will be difficult, it remains within their reach. But the strong presence of the NNPP in Kano state but at state and federal level will be a major obstacle for the PDP here.

4.) KATSINA STATE: Some analysts are projecting that Atiku will inherit a sizable number of President Muhammadu Buhari's northern support base as he bows out and if that were to happen, the PDP will be in line to achieve the above anticipated benchmark.

CAVEAT: This is not a declaration that the above-named candidate(s) will win the forth coming general elections.

PoliticsOpinion: States Capable Of Giving Over 500,000 Votes To Peter Obi by sonofthunder(op): 8:54am On Feb 24, 2023
The major beneficiary of the "obidient" movement will be expected to perform well in the coming elections in the below selected states, possibly hitting half a million votes along the way.

With a lot of support from the nation's youths, the Christian community, and those disgruntled with the achievements of the PDP and APC at federal level, the former PDP member will be looking to spring a surprise in the coming general elections.

The former governor is expected inherit most of his supporters from the PDP, especially in the southern parts of the country.

Let's take a look at his strongholds:

1.) ANAMBRA STATE: This will be the most convincing 500,000 plus state for Peter Obi and among all the presidential candidates. No other candidate will be expected to have such a clean run in their backyard as voters bias recorded from 2019 may leave the rest of the parties with a combined votes less than 15% of total votes cast.

2.) DELTA STATE?: This would have been a strong projection but for the influence of Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa who would be replacing Peter Obi as Vice to Atiku Abubakar. Nevertheless, Delta State remains an obidient state but a large number of Okowa's supporters will need to be snatched in the Agbor/Asaba axis for this to be a reality, alongside a high voter turnout on election day. If things don't go as projected, all three major parties may hit the 25% mark with a narrow win for the Labour party.

3.) KADUNA STATE: Many analysts are projecting Peter Obi to garner most of his votes here from southern Kaduna whose people are mostly Christians. It remains to be seen how much of the core PDP base will be swinging over with PO to the LP and they are expected to be a few hundred thousand. We will have to watch and see if the PDP has done their homework to reduce the effect of this exodus of voters.

4.) LAGOS STATE: The presidential candidate of the Labour party, looks set to enjoy the cultural and religious diversity of the state in securing more votes for his ambition. although Lagos state remains a core APC state, voting has never seen convincing winners in recent years of the presidential elections as margins has been relatively close. A large turnout of voters will improve Peter Obi's chances of achieving the above benchmark. A strong projection despite weak chances of winning the state.

5.) PLATEAU STATE: It remains to be seen if a majority of the PDP supporters that voted Atiku/Obi in 2019 will be queuing up behind Peter Obi in the election slated for Saturday the 25th of February 2023. It remains a weak projection but still a very plausible one.

6.) RIVERS STATE: With a high voter turnout expected, the LP would have been rest assured of hitting the half a million mark, but for the antics of the seating governor who is rumored to be throwing his weight behind the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Nevertheless, the labour party is still expected to come off with a victory here overall. The PDP may be disgraced in Rivers State and fall short of an important 25% of votes if Governor Wike goes ahead to support a member of the opposition against his party.

CAVEAT: This is not a declaration that the above-named candidate(s) will win the forth coming general elections.

PoliticsOpinion: States Capable Of Giving 1 Million Plus Votes On Election Day. by sonofthunder(op): 8:36am On Feb 24, 2023
The 2023 election is upon us, and all candidates will be fancying their chances and banking on their supporters to turnout for them on election day. I will be sharing my opinion on states that are likely to give any singular candidates 1million votes or more on election day.

As indicated in the topic, there is only one candidate that has a slim chance of achieving the above in this election and this is not a guarantee that he will be winning the election. Nevertheless, if any other candidate were to achieve the above (in any state), they will automatically become the favorites in an election that that leaves most analysts lost on who has the best chances of coasting to victory.

Let's take a look at some of these states:

1.) BORNU STATE: Bornu state is one of the most secured states for the APC in the coming elections. With their son running for Vice President, the voters will be very motivated to representing their own on the ballot with a high turnout of voters. This is one state the APC will not be losing sleep over.

2.) KADUNA STATE: This is one of the APC states with a high chance of an upset. Votes are expected to be divided between Atiku, Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu but in the event of an upset to the APC, the other 2 candidates look unlikely to rake in such a large number of votes.

3.) KANO STATE: This has been a very defining state in swinging power to the APC both in 2019 and 2015 and will be no different in 2023. In a state that delivered nearly 1.5million votes to the ruling party, Bola Tinubu will be hoping for the Party's supporters to remain loyal despite some pleasant alternatives available to them. However, the APC will be weary of support base of the presidential candidate of the NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso who wouldn't be going down without a fight.

4.) KATSINA STATE: The home state of the seating president and an APC stronghold saw PMB clinching over 1.2 million votes in 2019 but there are doubts of the APC clinching similar figures this year given the late declaration of support from the seating president in the party's campaigns. Luckily for BAT, PMB was in katsina to support his campaign and again, an upset from NNPP, LP or PDP is unlikely to leave any candidate with up to a million votes.

5.) LAGOS STATE: The last elections saw a little over a million voters' turnout in Lagos, but the 2023 general elections will likely see the number of voters in Lagos state almost doubling with Bola Ahmed Tinubu expected to win a state he governed for 8 years. Three of the major contenders are expected to perform well due to the diversity of people in the state and this may hamper BAT from hitting the 1million votes mark in the state but an upset from PO or Atiku will likely leave none of the candidates hitting that mark.

Are there any other states you believe would deliver over a million votes to any of the presidential candidates?

CAVEAT: This is not a declaration that the above-named candidate(s) will win the forth coming general elections.

Janiewinkle:
Different scenarios.

He hired Anap jets for his kwara trip but flew commercial to Owerri.

Why are propagandists trying to rope both scenarios to fit their agenda? On top of a man they say cannot win?

Anyways, as for me and my family, this is the main reason why we are voting for Peter Obi of the Labour party:

Peter obi isn't perfect and obviously has some flaws.

But after comparing him with other presidential candidates, this is the only reason why I'm voting for him and the labour party:

He refused to sign the papers for his pension, gratuity, and other allowances in the tune of over 300 million naira per year.

That was after doing a fantastic job of putting the state in order, and leaving a savings of 75 billion Naira.

That alone signifies that this man has conquered greed. It signifies that he is not motivated to be in politics because of money.

Most people would feel justified to retire on the state coffers after doing a great job, but he decided to go home empty handed and leave the money for a young and upcoming state that is in dire need of finances.
.
Put which state in order? How?

FoodRe: Expensive Jollof Rice & Chicken I Just Bought (pics) by sonofthunder: 6:16pm On Feb 18, 2023
destiny4luv:
Good day Nairalanders, so this morning I woke up very early to see a friend in order to conclude a deal with him. I was at his place before 6am and we spent over 2hours before concluding our deal. As I was driving back home I noticed I was hungry and the only thing that was on my mind to eat was jollof rice and chicken 🐔 🍗.

I called my wife and asked her how long will it take to prepare the jollof rice and chicken, she said at least three hours that she need to go get chicken that none is left in the refrigerator. I told her I can't wait that I have to branch an eatery, but she still got to prepare it, because it's my favourite food she said ok. She said I should just take bread and tea when I return why she make preparation for the meal that's what she and the kids took this morning. I said no, she knows I don't like taking bread and tea, I can't even remember the last time I took such. She said no wahala.

I branch one of the eateries and ordered for jollof rice and chicken the girl served it and I noticed it was small so I asked her to add to it she said that will be two portion I said no problem. I collected coke and water and asked how much she said 5k 5hundred. I was surprised, it's been a little bit long I ate at any eatery because 95% of food I eat (especially when in town) is from home, my wife is very good at cooking so it does not really make me fancy eating outside. A portion of rice #1500 (×2) chicken #2000, water and coke #500. Naija which way how the average man on the street go take survive nah?

Sorry for the long write up on top jollof rice and chicken matter grin. How is the eateries in ur location is it this expensive?
