Agboriotejoye:As painful as it is to admit that the AGF of a country as blessed with legal intellectuals as Nigeria will end up with a quota system AGF like Malami. He keeps making unintelligent comparisons like a toddler. It was the other day he was comparing herdsmen with spare part sellers. Now he is comparing chairman of governors forum to chairman of a political party. Which elections did governor forum chairman organize? Is it not ceremonial chairmanship? Political party chairman oversees congresses, elections etc, all of which can be challenged in court, infact, Akeredolu would have lost his seat as a result of this if not for technicality of pdp not joining Buni in the law suit. This Nigeria as a single entity seems irredeemable. |
Hope he won't turn out to be another hyped English player |
NaijaCoverBlog:Everybody keeps talking about divorce here as if the women or men that kill their spouse don't know about that. Most of the time the reason for killing is because they want to kill two birds with one stone. 1. Get rid of the nuisance troubling you, 2. Make financial and material gain from the death especially in the case of a widow who stands to inherit the man's properties and can even get so much money donations in terms of burial things and people trying to assist the widow. So why divorce and gain nothing instead of killing and gaining a lot. My advice to any married person is that once you know your marriage has become toxic better use your own leg walk away (that's if you are not the potential killer) and if you must stay my friend, keep watching your back always and never sleep with the two eyes closed |
yinkkus:Yeah the age of the girl can play right into the hands of the defense lawyer. "She is easily manipulated by Princess because of her age to insist on baba ijesha molesting her." The evidence I've not seen to show the extent baba ijesha went. But definitely the rape accusations won't fly again. Maybe indecent touch and grooming will stick but I so much doubt molestation most especially if there is no audio from the video evidence |
esthel:The case has already taken a twist. That SAN is damned good. 1. He has succeded in casting doubt on the account of the minor, portraying her as unknowingly seeing every man around her as a potential molester 2. Portraying Princess as the one putting the ideas of rape in the girl's mind because she has a score to settle with baba ijesha. That's why she didn't report the other 2 phantom cases when they happened not until baba ijesha saga |
robosky02:Don't forget that was the first time golden goal would be experimented with at a major competition by FIFA. Nigeria is therefore the first country to score golden goal at a major international competition and against Brazil for that matter. How time flies. Memories of another day. |
SexyBabe001:I don't support what the pastor said about his sack. But we should ask ourselves one truthful question, what is the KPI to measure fruitfulness or soul winning? We will all agree that it's by the number of members attending services and not the number of souls really won for Christ who can decide to fellowship in another bible believing church. Invariably those that are saying it's all about money should not be crucified because I'm sure one of the main teachings those coming to the church will be hearing from time to time is that there is curse of God on them if they don't pay their tithe and offerings. Meaning more members = more money Meanwhile, more souls won for Christ NOT attending your church = less money = no productivity = sack That is why I have always been against church employing ministers as full staff because there is no clear terms of employment between employer and employee, because the employer will never come out plainly to tell the pastors that they must generate more than they are being paid but will imply it in the way they treat or address you so you get the message and if you don't, then expect your sack letter I come in Peace |

Please I want to ask one question. Is it possible to move our northern brothers to South Africa? or southern Nigeria leave Nigeria for the South Africans to go join their fellow **** Please I'm asking the question on behalf of a friend |
HBB1:Obviously not sir. I mean if you got confused by that simple sentence, then, not even close |
Cautemoc:Still an ex-convict. |

GEEBITE:Thanks. Most of the people commenting here are football fans, many of them just heard about D'Tigers for the first time this week ![]() |

DimIsaac10:Basketball is not like football bro |
PeaceJoyLove:Spoke with sense unlike some wannabe basketball fans who know next to nothing about the sport. Some are even saying they got cocky, against Australia? If you know who coach Brown is you will know you can't get cocky on his team. The truth is 1. the Aussies are much better than the Nigerians and they are presently the 3rd best in the world in basketball. 2. the Aussies unlike the US team is a complete team of attack and defence unlike the US team that has no notable guard, everybody wants to score double figure, just a bunch of superstars with no team cohesion. 3. Nigeria will be playing the very first match at the olympics against this same Australia and you won't expect the coach to reveal all his tactics to them now. Even though it's almost sure we would be beaten by the Aussies at the olympics, this team has already become a world class under this coach and believe me the score line will not be this wide then and nobody can disgrace us at the olympics anymore unlike before when USA will defeat us with over 80 points margin. Defeating best (USA) and 4th (Argentina) in world ranking is no mean feat. No african nation has ever attempted that, not even the mighty Mali and Ivory coast during their dominance of the Afro basket ball scene before Nigeria (both male and female) took over. |

HBB1:Exactly wow if you are actually holding on to that fictional story. I guess I'm talking to a wrong person here. |
HBB1:Wait till you get to court. Not what you think happened, but what you can prove |
superjab247:Don't bet your money on it bro. The drug found on them is a date rape drug. This is the twist, she came to the apartment with the man with the hope of getting enough cash, the man wanted to do before committing any amount, she wanted cash commitment before doing. He eventually drugged her with the date rape drug he brought along and raped her. He already gave the girl his atm and pin number to go get things outside knowing fully well there is a limit to what she can withdraw in a day. The girl on coming back saw him dead. The poor disoriented girl (from drug) packed her things and left. The unprofessional Nigerian police traced her down, arrested her and got a confession from her without her lawyer present (when the girl was still under the influence of the drug the rapist gave her). Now that she is fully in control of her senses she can now recall vividly what happened that night. Too much John Grisham no go kill me ![]() |
Amotolongbo:They are doing well. But until I see their performance against Australia tonight before I start giving myself any hope in the olympics. This US team is just a bunch of individual talents with no team cohesion, they aren't going anywhere in the olympics with this team. The remaining guys in the Argentina team are not yet in but the Aussies already have their full squad on ground and you saw the way they dispatched the Americans. So, I'm watching out for the performance of the D'Tigers against them. By the way, coach brown has done an awesome job on that team, as they are they are already world class, one thing is sure, we can't be disgraced at the olympics. Does anybody also know that coach Brown is not collecting salary for taking on this job? he said the money should be put back into the development of basketball in Nigeria (selfless service) |
NaijaCoverBlog:Many more Nigerians are now becoming more aware of the miracle of science God has given us in the name of IVF Or should I say many are also seeing that the brain to develop IVF is also from God and are now calling the bluff of these so called god of men discouraging couples from exploring the miracle of science because they want to keep hold on their monopoly of making money out of the misfortune of others. Congrats to the new parents. |
saphiere:What do you expect from unprofessional Nigerian police. How in the world would you say you got the confession of an alleged killer without her lawyer present? Let the girl get a could lawyer who can spin stories, you will soon hear that she was still under the influence of the drug the the dead man forced on her that is why she was saying nonsense to newsmen. or you could hear she has bipolar disorder, or even threatened by the security agents to give fake confession. Nonsense and ingredient. |
advanceDNA:You are the man |
SmartPolician:This is not tribalism from my point of view. Our diversity in Nigeria is supposed to be our strength but because of some quota system people will not let that be. For example in sports, everybody knows the Igbos are strong in basketball, if it is only igbos that will represent us in basketball and put Nigeria on the world map, why not? Likewise the Yorubas are good in boxing and table tennis why can't we harness that? Middlebelt and Yorubas dominate athletics especially the sprint, Igbos dominate football, south south can be developed to dominate swimming, etc. By the time you put all these together without bringing in the sentiment of quota system, Nigeria will be a major force in sports all round. Bring that into governance too, If it is only the Fulanis that are strong enough to be in the military, no problem. If it's the Igbos alone that can develop our trade and investment sector, 'baa damua' and if it's only Yorubas that can handle our education sector, 'make e be like that' There is an extent to which quota system can work in a nation building, at least 80% should be on merit while the remaining 20% can be made to be on quota system basis. |
post=103561217:Live by the sword, die by the sword After-all, we are all dead. |
Mikecold:Not far from the truth. Stayed about 2 months with my Corper friends in the Corpers' lodge inside that school. Those girls were wild. It's okay now though, not like then of almost 2 decades ago |
Nbotee:They are birds of same feather though slightly better than Kanu in the sense that after his blabbing and insensitive talks he most of the time come back to apologize for his utterances (though being an illiterate that he his would still go back to do something similar). He said he was fighting Fulani herdsmen and just overnight you turned secessionist. How many people, elders, youths of Yoruba land did he consult before embarking of seceding? Instead it is insulting the Oonis, Tinubus, Pastor Adeboye etc. Those that are celebrating Kanu's arrest are just normal internet trolls, not right thinking people. At the same time, no right thinking person will approve Kanu or Igboho's approach to self determination fight. To break away from a country can only come about either through dialogue or through force. The question is are both (Kanu and Igboho) ready for the force? If not why don't you start with dialogue by getting support of majority of the people you want to liberate and go from there. And if it's violence then how prepared are you? Even Ojukwu that was a highly educated man with strong military experience and vast resources at his disposal realized at a point during the war that he wasn't well prepared enough, not to talk of these wannabe ragtag Generals. |
