So, you have sex. And then when it is done, you find yourself contemplating the sense in choosing this sex over loosing his friendship/connection.

After the sex, the guy becomes a faceless, nameless entity to you. The emotional connection dies and it seems wasteful to even want to maintain anything with him, so you basically let him go and wait for the next potential.
