GG2012 I am so humbled by your words. Your contribution to threads on NL makes it obvious that you are a virtuous woman! I celebrate you ma! And yes, not every one is called to own a Company so don't feel bad about it. Some people have giftings in the area θf administration or operations, they make excellent managers but not excellent pioneers. It is critical to not join in the bandwagon but focus on ones area θf giftings because that is where success lies.

I love you sis.
BusinessRe: How Can I Sponsor Myself Through School by spicyv1(f): 11:53pm On Sep 10, 2012
Op: God will definitely see you through! Planning is wise but at times all we need is that step θf faith and God responds. Thank God you have a great skill. I think you should organize seminars on web design training to students. You would θf course sell the benefits to them. Also, you can look around for private schools and offer to teach computer lessons, a couple θf days in a week. When school elections are going on, be the first to apply to design website for candidates.

You can also consider bulk sms services.
BusinessRe: UPS And EMS Which Is BETTER? by spicyv1(f): 11:43pm On Sep 10, 2012
No additional charges. UPS is as good as DHL and cheaper. Initial payment is the ONLY payment required.
BusinessRe: Business Growth Ideas by spicyv1(f): 11:37pm On Sep 10, 2012
I think you should go to schools around you and strike a deal with the admin staff to advertise your services to parents. Schools usually have students birthday info. and parents usually celebrate their kids birthdays by bringing cake to school. If you strike a good deal with the school, you may be the go to person for birthday cakes.

One idea you can pitch to the school authorities, is that you have an idea that will promote their image and guarantee business growth. Tell them that they should throw a small party for outstanding students every term. That this will encourage more students to become better thus improving the overall performance θf the school, which is good PR for them. Also, that act would excite parents, who are their clients and parents would talk about them to their friends. This is great for business. When they hear all this, they will be so excited, especially new schools looking to improve their population. If they buy your idea which I am sure they would, guess who will be the person to bake ALL the cakes for this termly parties! Your guess is as good as mine. Don't forget to always be at the parties to hand out your business card.

Another good place to look for business is the church! Yep, drop your advertising materials with the marriage counseling team to hand out to intending couples.

dammytex: OK mami,
Why I want a Mel-San? I'd still prefer her to a Mel-chol. Things will be a lot easy with her and I'm not sure I like female competition, I like to just respect and honour her for whom she is. Being a Mel, the most difficult thing about her would have to be mood swings and that I understand.

Out-think me; maybe. Out-smart me; even maybe but out-charm me; never (trust your guy naa). My Sanguine no be mumu oooo.
BBC Knowledge+Comedy Central=Perfecto. I always love humour while learning things. I remember things learnt while flexing than things learnt being serious. In fact, I hate being serious (weird right? don't worry; I know). Only God knows how I will propose. In school, I used to read my Engineering Maths textbook (Stroud 1 & 2) while strolling up and down the street.

Conscience; I guess that's a plus to my advantage.
Super organized; thank God. At last, I can find my pairs of socks well arranged somewhere.
Are you saying, Mel-sans could also be a Michelle Obama, a good political wife? Yeh pa!!!

Willing to pay any amount for a free MEL-SAN in the house please...

Waiting...
Mrs Obama aint got San in her! Lai lai. She is a combo θf mel and Choleric! No atom θf San.

Firstly, I would like to salute all those who have run their own company or someone else' company for a period θf ten years and more! Wow! I salute you dynamic leaders.

Now, to the topic, I would like to know what you hold as your critical success factors. What are those things you do that makes your business outstanding, successful and ever increasing in success? Let me start by sharing a few θf mine.

I am in the Media industry. We proffer business solutions through Media and PR.

You would therefore be absolutely right to say that we are in a people focused business. Our critical success factors revolves around making our people feel valued. Our people in this sense are our staff and our clients.

Our staff: we ensure that the ownership mentality is instilled in our staff. Every member θf staff regardless θf the level clearly understands the vision and what is expected θf him to accomplish that vision. We have had business deals brought in by the office assistant! She went to get supplies for the office and overhead a phone conversation. Immediately after the call, she approached the prospect and told him that she couldn't help but hear his conversation as he was audible enough to be heard a mile away. Lol. Anyways, she told him we had the solution he sought and that was it! That deal was a great one. Thing is, the office assistant is a 20yr old SSCE holder!

Staff also enjoy the benefits accrued to a part owner. At the end θf the year, they get to partake in profit sharing.

Clients: we do so much to retain clients. Infact, our budget for marketing is hardly ever spent because 80percent θf our business are based on referrals. We invest on our clients. We have gone as far as sending birthday gifts to the spouse θf a client! We are very detail oriented and exceptionally attentive to clients. The birthday information was gotten when the client loosely mentioned it! He was so amazed and totally excited when we acted upon the information.

Fellow business owners and CEO's that is a few θf how we do at our end. Share yours so we all can learn. Intending business owners, you could also chip in your ideas. What would you do differently?

H-e-l-l-O! How can I be the author θf love languages? I mean anyone with sense that is common knows that this is actually a review! The article is my work but a review θf an original content! Even authors θf non fictional books often base their work on an already documented information!

Please pay more attention to your books and stop wasting mummy and daddy's money! This is the last time I will squander my valued time on an empty gong like you!

Am still far from where I wanna be but am super motivated to keep pushing. For all the 3rd "classers" out there, stay determined. There's very little a determined person can't achieve.

Information is power! To him that is informed, there is no end to his exploits. In romantic relationships, understanding between partners is crucial for an unending sparkle wink. Understanding is as a result θf communication and effective communication in this regard is a function θf learning the art θf speaking the language θf love! Your partner's love language.

I bring you the four basic languages θf love.

Words θf affirmation
Quality time
Gifts
Acts θf Service

Words θf affirmation: as it suggests, are words spoken to express and affirm your heartfelt emotions to your partner. They are the sweet nothings that makes your partner tick. Most often, we hear that ladies are moved by what they hear. How true is that? Well that is because this is the love language θf most ladies. People whose love language fall into this category mostly feel loved when they constantly hear affectionate words from their loved ones. An sms every now and then, a love note slipped in his/her wallet, pocket or purse and some whispering into the ear in public gathering when they least expect would guarantee you a permanent space in their hearts.

Quality time: a partner whose love language falls under this category would love the "you and me" time. You would most often here this person say, if he loves you, he would always spend some quality time with you. Well, that is the language θf love she understands.

Gifts: this person believes that loving is mostly about giving. That popular saying, "no romance without finance", was most likely invented by the person whose love language is gifts. We know that gifts could be monetary or material items. A gift is something you get for someone that reveals that you were actually thinking θf them when you got it. I recall a thread on NL that talked about the different ways to say I love you. There was a couple who shared that the lady bought a coffee maker for her boo and that was an expression θf the powerful three letter words to him.

Acts θf service: this person feels that "someone who loves me should do stuff for me". Stuff like domestic chores cheesy. The guy would feel that the lady truly cares if she washes, cooks and cleans. Most African, more specifically Nigerian men fall under this category grin. Ladies under this category would want the man to help out with domestic chores rather than sit crosslegged in the living room, sipping bear and watching TV with a firm grip on the remote. Lol.

So, which categories on love languages do you connect with? Which is/are your partners? An understanding θf this will do well to reduce conflict. Also, you wouldn't waste so much time chasing a lady when you speak her language! Its like having the right key to a door, just slot in the key, turn and the door opens. You would also be less critical θf people's actions. No more would you consider a lady a gold digger because she responds to gifts! That is simply her love language! If it doesn't suit you, just look around for a lady whose primary love language resonates with yours.

Do have fun as you explore yours and your partner's LL.kiss

Etranshub: considering the way u fluctuate btw cheating and xtian courtship its obvious u dnt have a life so fix urs first
Are you sure you do not have a comprehension problem? What exactly did I comment on? And how does it contradict anything I have typed here? I have my values, which are very consistent. I don't pretend to be anything because I owe no one nothing and as a true christian, I do as I see my father do! He never judges anyone and that is not to say he condones what is wrong! I also don't expect you to believe that I enjoy a relationship that is devoid θf cheating seeing that you lack the ability to do and live right probably because you were raised in a dysfunctional background. What I don't get is why YOU are being a hypocrite instead θf actually getting a life by fixing your warped mindset!

I won't derail this thread any further by responding to any other silly comments!
RomanceRe: Temperament N Love. by spicyv1(op): 4:16pm On Sep 07, 2012

RomanceRe: I Confessed To Cheating On My Fiance by spicyv1(f): 3:57pm On Sep 07, 2012
To you all who have quoted my previous post, hurled insults and made assumptions that portrayed your silliness, you just reaffirmed the fact that you are the most hypocritical, judgmental and deluded species fortunate to live amongst human beings. This is not an insult but a conclusion that was reachd from facts presented by you.

If you must know, I have a REAL, HEALTHY and BLISSFUL relationship with the love θf my life! Six years now and still counting! And the fact that we have NEVER dealt with issues like cheating does not make me haughty and look down on people who do not enjoy what we have! It makes me more sympathetic and realistic. Infact, I have discovered that it is people who often engage in such that are the first to condemn!

Keep quoting, don't get a life! cool
RomanceRe: For The Christian Singles Still Searching (CSSS). Part 1 by spicyv1(f): 11:40am On Sep 07, 2012

@op thank 4 dis piece.
A looot θf wisdom in this!

HumbledbYGrace: sometimes I just think m over doing it.Maybe m too welcomin
You should read the above quote again. You can never really prepare too much. From experience, I have learnt that the extent θf your preparation will attract the kind θf opportunity you seek and will also help you to retain and make the most θf it. So just keep maximising your singlehood because no thoroughly baked brother would go for a halfbaked sister. Remember God calls the woman the helpmeet, if you are not on the same frequency with the one you are to help, you would become a liabilty rather than the asset you were designed to be.

k2039: You are not alone,am 21 and am still yet to have my first relationship. My best friend always tells me,the more eager I am about getting into a relationship the more unprepared for the relationship I am(that simply means am attaching a lot of importance to the relationship).I have made up my mind to be a blessing to my partner,so all am doing is just enjoying my singleness, concentrating on my degree, working on my goals, reading books on relationship etc.
So have fun.
See what I mean? You can't tell me that this dude will settle for just any pretty thing after all the investment he has made on himself! Miss pretty has got to have the corresponding substance that resonates with his. Once again, I say singlehood is a temporary period θf investment on self! Maximize it.
