Kindly shade some light here, when you say late how many weeks are these? Or what month was a late submission. Like for me i did submit my forms on 28th of july does these mean i MAY not get a 2NL

u dint submit late my sister july 28th is still ok ,i meant those that submitted in September and October.I submitted mine in june 20th and mycase number is 763*,i got current in October also got my 2NL 18th October.Hope am clear.all the best

remkay2012: Congratulations for those who have received there visas, those who are presently current and those who are expecting there day of favour to come including our friend in the embassy for his/her visa. I pray for God almighty will favour us in this forum and we shall come out with joy and happiness.

Please, I would like house to englithing us on this issue:
1. If somebdy's visa is approved or collected after successful interview and the applicant is a female (i.e couple) and after the following day before travel the U.S and delivered a baby, how possible that the new born baby will be travelling with the family? or are they going to wait to process the baby visa or they will leave the baby for next 5year before filing for the baby. Please let talk on this

We’ve bin prayn for that black American Lady @window 13 but it was a white American lady that did d interview 4us @window 16 and she has already denied 2 families and asked anoda family to come back. Our interview lasted for 20mint and it goes thus:

The co didn’t call me at all… I only went to meet her may be I can pick up d visa for both of us. Indeed its God’s favour. She even asked my wife if our parents have been communicating b4 wedn. Glory be to D LORD for not letting myself and wife down during our interview today 6th DEC 2012.We left the hse by 4;35am and got to the embassy around 5;51am OMO see crowd outside the embassy,we went through the d security checks which lasted 4 15 to 20 minutes,finally got inside the embassy.God really favourd myself and wife at the embassy cos we ve been praying 4 favour frm GOD and this Black American lady @ window 13 aech tym in our prayers,forumites GOD answers prayers ,wth faith myself and wife sat directly opposite the window 13 on the first roll and b4 we knew it she called our number we both smiled and thank GOD we were actually the 3rd person she attended to. The interview goes thus.

Idi Amin: I had a successful interview yesterday. After the security checks, i paid my visa fees inside after which a black lady collected my documents.

I was later called at window 14 4 an interview by a white lady and guess what, she was so nice to me.

She took my finger prints and made me took an oath to say the truth and i signed my DS form.

me: not yet
co: {smiles} kids?
me (laughs) none
co: do u have anybody in the us
me: yes i have now.
co: smiles) put it down in that space

docbunmi: Thanks everyone. We had a 7am appt and got der @ abt 6am. We were third in line but I had to go back to drop my baby's milk and water outside cos its not alloweD. We went thru all d security checks and by d time we entered d interview hall, it was 7:11am. We paid N163,500 for d 3 of us and after abt 15mins a Nigerian woman called us @ window 13 and asked for my hubby's educational papers, our marriage cert and birth certs and police report. We were already told to open d sealed medical reports @ d gate before entering. Anyway, at this point we had a bit of issue wit my hubby's neco, d original was not in d package! Instead we packed a color copy dat looks just like d original! See shock and confusion,we asked to go get a scratch card outside but we were refused dat we cnt go outside again. Anyways we offered up some prayers and waited. Then d CO came and we were d first pple attended to

CO: asked for d payment slip and told us to sign and take d oath. Here, my baby was babbling and I told d CO dat "see, my baby is taking d oath too" and everyone laughed. From dat moment, it was smiles and jokes galore
CO: asked my hubby who played d lottery for him and my hubby said I did it for him and she asked me if dat was true and I agreed and went further to tell her d date I played it. She then asked my hubby wat he does for a living and asked him to explain exactly wat he does. She then asked wen we met and my husband and I told her d story, completing each odas sentences and she was just smiling. She assked wat job I do and I told her I am a doc and specialize in family med. She asked if we had pics and we showed her our wedding photo book and she loved d yoruba attire of d engagement. While, we were still flipping thru d album, she printed out a white paper and circled d first addy and said " dats fine, ur daughter is lucky to have parents so in love like u guys.congrats and welcome to america, go pick ur passports and visa nxt wk @ d circled addy. We said thanks, smiling and as we turned to leave, my baby picked up d black phone to put it in her mouth and d lady started talking baby talk to her dat even d pple waiting were laughing with us
The lesson here is dat though we had some scary moments, we kept our heads and were positive.

monsieursam64: For those of us going for interview sooner or later, let's try as much as possible to be calm, smile and look the interviewer in the eyes (please never look down or away, this is sign of cowardness to American but sign of respect in Naija).

Reply with exact answers and never volunteer information that interviewer didn't ask for. The more you talk the more the questions, the less you talk the better for you. Even if you don't know answers try to use your head to say something closer (i believe we are good at that). May God help us!

By Leripa: There's no point waiting behind as the principal winner. Your best bet is to go with them and come back later for whatever purpose or you go alone while they meet with you at a later date. This you must tell the CO during your interview.
Your family are derivatives and therefore can not enter the US before you. I stand to be corrected though.

I watched all the quarrels, arguments, fights,the happiness and congratulations.I have also decided that it will be selfish of me to read all the posting and not share the reason why i have been following this post.My sister and the husband with 3 kids won the lottery and had their successful interview today. The husband is the principal applicant, we were having so many doubt because his highest qualification is olevel but decided to put it in the hands of God, not only is he Olevel but he finished secondary school in the early eighties with two credits without math or english.Later in early 2000 he did Neco with only 3 credits including only english.
I have been preparing them with the questions I get from this forum, this is also where I found out that visa has gone down to $330, I knew last year was $819. I have also headrd a lot about this black angel at the embassy, he said she was the one that attended to them.To cut the long story short, this was how it went.
Co: Raise yr hand and say after me ...
Husband: Repeated after co....
Co:What is your highest level of education?
Hus: Olevel
Co:Are these your children?
hus: Yes
Co: I want to see their picture when they were babies
hus: He brought out the oictures and handed it tho her.

That was it,infact he thought the black angel was just verifying things before the real interview will start not knowing she was already done with him. When they called to tell me, it was still like magic to them but when God is at work, there is no much story, it flows like you were made for it.From what I have seen so far if you can proof that you have at least attended secondary sch, the visa will be yours. Pls rejoice with me. US is a land opportunity, if you are hard working you will make, I am riping mine.The land is enough to contain all of us from naija,just about 3 states here will cover our land area, until our own govt will learn their lesson and change if they will. Encourage yr relations to play and continue yr good work on this forum.I wish all the upcoming interview success.

temmytanny: I no get his time even if he comes to Grand prairie or stay close to my apartment.I have squashed all his claims, imagine an engineer defeating a lawyer in a court of law . My focus now is to make sure more people including him get this visa for betterlife here in US.If you are hard working,you will make it here,so guy, be prepared.

Gentiger: It's clearly noted. My message on this board has been very consistent which is, 'go the extra mile.'. The wise ones headed. Atleast 3 clients with dashed DV lottery interviews had their matters handled for free. You have no clues as to why they were denied.That's why I am here. Pls leave me out of future side bashings. I may not take it lightly next time. I am GENTIGER!!!

I got to the embassy around 5:25am after waiting for some for some hour full of fear, a young man came and call and call us to form a queue, immigrant and non-immigrant. Then I submitted my appointment letter and security check stuff... I proceed to the embassy to make payments (#54,500) and I also submitted my original doc (Medical result, NECO and WAEC cert plus NPC birth cert). After waiting for several hour, I was called to window 13 and this black lady American welcome me with smiles and me sef open my 32 teeth thumb print and oath thingy follow!

ME - No
CO - Congratulations your visa has been approved and she return my original doc and gave me a paper "go to this circle address to pick your visa!" Dear forumitte, that was it... filled with joy and I give God all the glory. Thanks to you all
