Idi Amin: I had a successful interview yesterday. After the security checks, i paid my visa fees inside after which a black lady collected my documents.Congratulations |
docbunmi: Thanks everyone. We had a 7am appt and got der @ abt 6am. We were third in line but I had to go back to drop my baby's milk and water outside cos its not alloweD. We went thru all d security checks and by d time we entered d interview hall, it was 7:11am. We paid N163,500 for d 3 of us and after abt 15mins a Nigerian woman called us @ window 13 and asked for my hubby's educational papers, our marriage cert and birth certs and police report. We were already told to open d sealed medical reports @ d gate before entering. Anyway, at this point we had a bit of issue wit my hubby's neco, d original was not in d package! Instead we packed a color copy dat looks just like d original! See shock and confusion,we asked to go get a scratch card outside but we were refused dat we cnt go outside again. Anyways we offered up some prayers and waited. Then d CO came and we were d first pple attended toHey Doc that was nice. Congratulations!! |
monsieursam64: For those of us going for interview sooner or later, let's try as much as possible to be calm, smile and look the interviewer in the eyes (please never look down or away, this is sign of cowardness to American but sign of respect in Naija).May God help us!! |

Adufesco: It is not dat i did'nt have confidence, am just preparing myself for the interview next week, i finish my secondary education in 2002 and My ND in 2008 Business studies! Any Advice?Just like Adesojiaderemi said tell them you will like to further your education and become a business executive. Like Bachelor of Business Management(BS, BA) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)since you have been working in a business place. |
chyk2020: nup,how do i do that, i only check wakanow site, and Qatar did not show online, will they have flight to chicago that period?https://booking.qatarairways.com/qribe-web/public/showBooking.action?widget=BF&selLang=en |
Adufesco: thanks, i put UNKNOW because i dont know the kind of job i will get in usa, i work as a store keeper 4 one paint company in lag. If i tell them dat i will like to further my education and i get there started working hope dat would not afffect me pls Reply?I pray that the black lady at window 13 to be the one to interview you because you are very nervous and dont even believe in yourself. Adufesco come on be CONFIDENT and PROUD. When did you finish High school? Have you gone to the University? What did you do and get in Exams? If you tell the forum all the ingredients, then they will cook for you and you will eat. I hope you understand what i mean |
docbunmi: hi everyone, my hubby n i did our interview today with our babby and we were successful. twas d same black american at window 13.We thank God for that, docbunmi may you go through a smooth transition ![]() |
Adufesco: Hello my people in the house, pls i want to ask about 1 question in Ds230! The work you intend to do in USA but i put "UNKWON" there, so if they ask me again in my interview what are my going to say? Pls i need ur respond.."UNKWON" what kind of job is this tihihihihihihi anyway dont you worry about it, most people put down what they are doing currently or their Major in college even if you damn know that you might change your career. So answer yourself here, ie your current work or Concentration in the University just for the sake of the Visa. You cant dare tell the CO you dont know whatcha gonna do when you get into their land. BUT if you have just finished High school just tell them what you plan to study. |
adesojiaderemi@:No, i am in Kenya waiting to go for the interview around March 2013, my information i get it from the internet, i feel like it should be accurate and if possible give links from where i got the information so that one doesnt keep on asking the same question over and over again. I always assume that the person asking the question has no idea about it so its best to explain it to him/her thoroughly and in-depth. Thank you! |
adesojiaderemi@:coincidentally i come from Kogelo but we are not related, but do i say!! Plan to come for a safari after you chop dollars in style lol! |
adesojiaderemi@:I am from KENYA ![]() |
sozen2010: Hello house, advice pls...can the person who is the principal applicant(winner of DV) decides to send his family ahead and later join say 2 months interval; having gone through necessary procedures. Or they will have to be there together? By Leripa: There's no point waiting behind as the principal winner. Your best bet is to go with them and come back later for whatever purpose or you go alone while they meet with you at a later date. This you must tell the CO during your interview.CORRECT ![]() The dependants of an Immigrant Visa may accompany the principal beneficiary, or enter the U.S. after the principal beneficiary has already entered, but never before the principal beneficiary. You are a "dependent" if you did not have a separate IV case number file (the ‘MTL number" , and are together on the same petition. |
gog123: Hello Forumites,I am a guest in this forum, I have been reading all you postings since it started and have learnt a lot from it. I watched all the quarrels, arguments, fights, the happiness and congratulations.I have also decided that it will be selfish of me to read all the posting and not share the reason why i have been following this post.My sister and the husband with 3 kids won the lottery and had their successful interview today. The husband is the principal applicant, we were having so many doubt because his highest qualification is olevel but decided to put it in the hands of God, not only is he Olevel but he finished secondary school in the early eighties with two credits without math or english.Later in early 2000 he did Neco with only 3 credits including only english.Congratulations to your sister and family, i wish them a smooth transition |
Dear Adesojiaderemi, brightmon, temmytanny, Gentiger, "There are big ships and small ships. But the best ship of all is friendship." As we express our gratitude on your constant help, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. Peace be Upon you all!!! ![]() |
temmytanny: I no get his time even if he comes to Grand prairie or stay close to my apartment.I have squashed all his claims, imagine an engineer defeating a lawyer in a court of law Wisely spoken and thank you for your well meaning words, we shall all get the visas!! |
Gentiger: It's clearly noted. My message on this board has been very consistent which is, 'go the extra mile.'. The wise ones headed. Atleast 3 clients with dashed DV lottery interviews had their matters handled for free. You have no clues as to why they were denied. That's why I am here. Pls leave me out of future side bashings. I may not take it lightly next time. I am GENTIGER!!!I am so grateful for the information that i get here in your forum i do not come from North Africa but i just love the way you people help each other wholly heartedly. There is NO medal to be WON here therefore i would ask you to be yourself as you have always been but just let it go when you feel someone is getting into your way. “Wise men, when in doubt whether to speak or to keep quiet, give themselves the benefit of the doubt, and remain silent.” |
saddy101: My interview experience! So much praises have heard of this black american lady, she must be a very nice lady no wonder you smiled and all your 32 teeth were out lol! Am proud of you and wish you a smooth transition ![]() |
saddy101: @femsoj,Glory to the most HIGH!!! You did it!! Am so happy for you |

, and are together on the same petition.
