Ladyauthentic:This is was what instantly came to mind when I saw the headline. Thank God for protecting the passengers from any mishap. |
This is beginning to make sense now. https://www.nairaland.com/7900862/revealed-ccb-documents-show-zamfara |
CalmTravels:Walking through Stockholm is a delight, especially the walk from Gamla Stan to skeppsholmen, along the waterfront all the way to the Royal Institute of Art. |

Very succinctly put! So sad to see how people gloat over the misfortunes of others. Obi got over 300k in Benue, shouldn't that count for something? |

Maybe you should ask all the people asking for their money on Facebook and Twitter, posting about being unpaid.

Does this number include those that are being owed salaries at his university? |
They should have asked him how well his University is faring. Ask those who know and they will tell you that even Atiku is disappointed with how his own people are running down the school. The question is, how can he run Nigeria if he can't control those running down his school. |
Na takeaway pack, Nigerians go take run down this restaurant. |
Mybrotheralso:Allow them to run their mouth...they have no idea how deep it hurts. For a moment, I thought you were describing two of my relatives. |

Dubaiguy:Unfortunately, most Nigerians have the culture of always shifting blames...never accepting responsibility for their direct actions. We need to keep telling ourselves the truth until it sinks. Do we have a worse government than Burundi, South Sudan or even Congo DR? Yet, we hardly hear of the citizens of these countries misbehaving en masse abroad. |
Yes, the Governor is correct but... I only hope the governor will also take his own advice and support other minority ethnic groups in Benue State to produce a governor in 2023; a position his ethnic group has dominated since the creation of the state. |
OlujobaSamuel:This is the bit that instantly struck me. It's needless. |
Now the other 'cabal' members are showing their hands. We must sustain the searchlight on these brood...we talk too much and do too little hence, will always be taken for granted. It's sad that when they appoint young people into office, it's usually the worst of us...thus perpetually reinforcing the crooked arguments that we are immature for public office. |
We aren't using the same testing kits. This why Nigerians need to patient with NCDC instead of running them down at any given opportunity. The test being conducted here are of the highest WHO standards using a semi-automated real time PCR process that delivers results between 3 and 8 hours. That's why it usually takes about a day from collection of samples to testing and delivery of results. Several African countries are using rapid testing kits, which though cheaper and faster, has a very high possibility of getting a wrong result if contaminated. Here's a case in point: https://lethbridgenewsnow.com/2020/05/03/rapid-test-for-covid-19-recalled-after-health-canada-expresses-concerns/ |
kikero:Typical Nigerian! We only know how to criticise and complain. Even when the ads have been on air for a while now. |
mrbanji:Thanks alot. I will be in touch. |
mrbanji:Hello oga, How much would it cost to clear a BMW 3-Series - 2008, 2009 & 2010? |
GermanMelania:These are my sentiments too, but NCDC needs to be on alert. It's a fact that there are way more infected people than acknowledged and this is because most infected people here are asymptomatic, hence haven't been tested. Considering how carelessly some infected people have mingled with the rest of the population, I won't be surprised if the figures are as high as 100,000. This is the more reason, why Nigerians need to adhere to strict physical distancing protocols; because if as little as 10,000 people develop severe symptoms, we will be in trouble, because our healthcare system cannot handle that number of severe COVID-19 patients. |
CyberWolf:Hello sir, I believe a little research would have sufficed. Russian plane with coronavirus medical gear lands in U.S. after Trump-Putin call https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-russia-usa/russian-plane-with-coronavirus-medical-gear-flies-to-u-s-after-trump-putin-call-idUSKBN21I37W |
Guys, let's not criticize for the sake of it. Ventilators are very scarce around the world now, and even with your money, you might not find to buy. Yes, we can castigate the Nigerian government for not making healthcare a priority over the years but under the current circumstances, every government is trying its best to lay its hand on as many ventilators as it can. Trump had only a few days reached out to Putin and received a number of Ventilators from Russia as well. This is not the time to be proud, we need all the help we can get at this time. |
Looks like a bachelor in Awe was hastily made to vacate his pad for the Emir. |
I hope they flogged them before deporting them. |
I was almost electocuted in the shower of a hotel in Calabar last year too. Nigerian hotels need to pay more attention to their electrical fittings especially in the bathroom. How can a normal person tie a metal string from the water heater to the shower curtain rails? I was lucky that the shock occurred before I turned on the shower; I would have been electrocuted. Guys please, always carefully survey your hotel room before you settle in. |
thapest:How much? |
Has it occurred to anyone that most of these cattle are owned by indigenes, and in most cases the herdsmen are only employed as work hands? I speak from experience, because I have a handful of friends whom own herds of cattle; and they are not even Fulanis. |
Eberejesus111:My exact sentiments! A handful of people I know are already doing this; and have set up mini-ranches. Each time I hear people speak against cattle rearing, I feel very sad for the kind of mindset and biases most Nigerians hold. If we say we don't want fulanis on our land what stops the indigenes of each locality from raising the cattle themselves? Especially considering how large the beef market is. Lagos alone slaughters thousands of cows every day, not to talk of the numbers across several other cities and towns across Nigeria. Not to talk of cow skins and other by-products that would be made through the value chain. |
Datingcomrade:So that Nigerians go say him don pack the people go do ritual? |
