So for you to get a license for any firearm, it must not be a full Automatic weapon and it must not be easy to conceal, meaning to pistols, AK's, Uzi's, etc Would I be able to get a license for a P-12 or EL-10 shotguns? |

God knows I come from a family where such conduct such as having babies outside marriage is not condoned. When we adopt the way of like of the white man, this is what the outcome is. Also, for Dele Momodu to get himself into this public display of shame is beyond me. |

Even Mike Tyson confessed in an interview that if he had fought Ali in 1965 when Ali was practically a killing machine in the ring, he (Tyson) would have been blown apart. Tyson made this statement after he was asked to review the fight between Ali and Cleveland Williams. Ali was a devastating combination of speed and punching power. Sadly, the US authorities took away his best years (1967 - 1970) and the Ali that came after then was not the same Ali of 1962 to 1967. |

Emmenyk: Somewhere in the news I saw this headline "A new generation Church Plans To Build A 100,000 Capacity Stadium-Like Church"... And Just like some annoying comments John Champion and Jim Beglin will normally make in the # gameworld , especially when your opponent is really humiliating you, I said to my self "I hope this will not be a case where the Canon will to hit the bundle let alone the corner flag "
Majority of the churches you see today have turned into super financial Power houses that can compete with some oil companies around, with the break-away and formation of new ones/branches on the increase, yet the church has failed to address major issues confronting the society. No wonder there'r so many Churches in Omoku City yet almost all the inhabitants have guns. No wonder you'll see a Runs girl at the popular Casablanca GRA joint, among the choristers on a Sunday service; always attending programs and praying for business success. Can God be mocked? but it's because that inner conviction is not there and who cares about your source of income.
There's a problem; SERIOUS SELFISH EGO MINDED PASTORS Solve a million problems which you can, Save countless souls by building a single industry or even a Dry cleaning shop, employing those criminals and runs girls who needs to be saved thereby providing them with alternate but Legit source of income, only then will they embrace your out stretched arm and listen to what you'll have to say, then see how you wipe out the poverty and Vices in those areas. You gain more both spiritually and financially. Establishing or building wonderful edifices is not the problem(s) but how to really reach out is... And evangelism strategy should change because there's so much bitterness in the society, and Just like my favorite songwriter Ray Bolt puts it "Everyday they pass me by I can see it in their eye Empty people filled with care Headed who knows where On they go through private pain... ...Laughter hides the silent cries..."
But the church can do something to change the above not by building stadiums You this man, how many souls have you won to the kingdom? Did that structure look like a stadium to you? Who has built a stadium on 5000 acres of land? You have no sense really. No sense at all. |

Themandator: 1. There is no genuine member of this commission called Winners without a genuine personal testimony. I not only have one but multiple testimonials. Every single soul I encouraged to join the commission have returned with diverse unimaginable testimonies... E. G, a lady with ovarian cyst... Her menstrual circle used to run for like 28 days.... I met her through her sister when her family had already given up on her because she was more a walking corpse, I did not ask her to see any pastor, I bought her two titles, the blood triumph and the healing balm... She just finished her youth service to the country.
2. The raiment that the Lord wore was so special that the soldiers had to cast lot to divide it amongst themselves.... Nobody share rag. The common pillow we have in our homes today was so special in Jesus times that it got mentioned in the Bible when Jesus used it on board a ship. Camel was the fastest means of transportation, Jesus not only used it but asked for a brand new one that had never been ridden by any man when he made his entry into Jerusalem. The ministry he ran then was so rich that he had a treasure named Judas... He never asked for whether money was available to buy food for the multitude he asked where the food could be bought before the meal of the young boy was supernaturally increased to feed the multitude.
Find your place in life and walk in it... Joel 2... All the criticism has only made more people to, out of curiosity, venture into the church only to be find fulfilment... I was a Catholic, in fact my wife was a cadet by virtue of the Father being a knight but she knows the difference. Only through prosperity will the church be spread abroad Zechariah 1
Nobody has ever been under pressure to contribute in the commission... But where I can from, you couldn't do certain things unless you showed proof of financial commitment... Multiple offering where you must join the queue... Levies and annual dues for this and that... They have even introduced the tithe that spent a grater deal of time castigating.
This is one church that never does launching of any kind, no harvest, no raffle draws, d because the man said the day he was called God launched the commission... No levy, no altar call just each according to as he or she is willing
Nobody has ever been allowed to stand and announced, I am donating so and so to this.... You and your God and your envelope.. That is all... The 50k auditorium was built without fundraising and and within one year, this won't be an exception You are the man. I came from an atheist family. Never entered any church until my teen years. Was in one where levies and taxation was done in the name of offerings. I heard there is even one church where you can't be buried if you were not a financial member. I am sure we all know what church that is. I was one of those who actively poked fun at the anointing oil and the mantle even as a Christian. How foolish I was because I was blind. When I joined the Winners family, it took only one year for me to start seeing DRAMATIC turnaround in my family, career and business. Under prophetic mandate in the Double Portion year, I got 2 cars the same year. The year of Exceeding Grace, I got several plots of land in what looked like an area that will never be developed in the next century under Divine and prophetic instruction, only for a Royal family in Nigeria to acquire 300 acres close to my land to build a university in partnership with an American university. EIGHT MONTHS is all it took for the value of my land to jump 10 TIMES and still rising. I can never regret my decision to join Winners and partake fully in everything the Commission is doing. I will be fully committed financial to the Faith Theatre project. Those who will hate will continue to hate, while those whom God is blessing will continue to prosper. |

Goshen360: To an extent, I agree you can't keep an expanding family in the same location for some time but this part of your argument doesn't make any sense to those who are wise and reading.
If you're claiming the current attendees is close to 500, 000 on every Sundays while the current capacity is 50, 000; while then will any wise man want to build for 100, 000 capacity? How does that sound or is something wrong somewhere?
2. Is there going to be another giant building if you're claiming another up to 1 Million attendees in another 16 years from now?
3. There's no where in scripture where Apostles taught the church leaders to set up church branches and commission those branches to be under one headquarter or mother church. Such practices is foreign to the body of Christ. I don't know where these religious leaders got that idea from but that's something for another day and time though. Christ IS THE VINE and the whole church as a body IS THE BRANCH. You can see a glass as half full or half empty. Your choice. |

ThoniaSlim: Is this absolutely necessary? I really wanna understand the rationale behind this project? It is almost like churches in Nigeria have been turned into a competition of whose got the most mega structures.
No offense to anyone but I think lots of churches in Nigeria are a BIG JOKE! And to the "Touch Not My Anointed crew" save your sermon for the religiously blinded fellows like you! Madam, If you are single, you can make do with a one-bedroom flat. But I wonder how it will look like if you have a husband and five children, all inside the 1 bedroom flat. That is how it is with this project. After 16 years of the present 50,000 capacity auditorium, it has become impossible to keep up with the close to 500,000 attendees coming in there every Sunday. They have to be spread out into 4 or 5 services and still the numbers outside are more than what is inside. I attended a business conference in Covenant University with some friends recently. We had to wake up and move out by 2.30am that Sunday morning so we do not get caught up by the close to 10,000 cars that would start trooping in through all the access roads into the place and miss our flight. You need to go there on Sunday morning. It is a logistics nightmare and this move to take the church to another location over 5,000 acres of property with expanded infrastructure to handle the sheer numbers of worshippers is OVERDUE! This is simple plain human reasoning that anyone should be able to come up with. You cannot house an expanding family in a one-bedroom flat forever. Surely you would not. |

johnstin: I have a problem with the Ak-47 assault rifle being used by the police for this type of aerial operation it is intended for.
Ak-47's effective range is about 300 meters; so it doesn't have long range capabilities.
So let's assume the police is engaging a gang of fleeing robbers from the helicopter in flight, the shots fired from the Ak-47 will likely miss its targets at distances greater than 300 meters. This puts civilians on the ground at great risk of getting hit by stray bullets.
In the same vein, if the helicopter maintains the 300 meters distance from the robbers being pursued, the operatives on board, as well as the helicopter itself can be hit by rounds from Ak-47 wielding robbers.
LASG needs to procure powerful long range assault rifles for these police marksmen for the initiative to pay off. Maybe that's why the Air Force has continued to use the Fabrique Nationale... |

The fact is that the work ethic of a typical Chinese or Indian worker is very strong. We as Nigerians do not come close.
Secondly, ask any Chinese employer of labour in Africa. They are appalled at the number of religious breaks we take. They cannot understand why someone will be in church on Sunday, Midweek service on Wed, and prayer meeting another day, n or can they comprehend the 5 times daily prayer breaks by our muslim brothers. Yet the Nigerian economy stinks to the highest heavens of corruption, mismanagement and every kind of human vice. Imagine the owner of a news organization who is always doing one thanksgiving in church or another telling the world he received 2.1bn from the former NSA as media campaigns for PDP, as if the National Security Agency is now the PDP campaign organization. The Chinese cannot tolerate such and that is why they have Operation Fox Trot hunting fugitives of justice in more than 100 countries to the point where many are returning voluntarily to face justice.
And things are actually working in China. They produce 1,200,000 MW of electricity, (1.2 million MW), compared to Nigeria still struggling to cross the 4,500MW threshold since time immemorial.
That is why the Chinese employers of labour have had to draw up rules to stop the Nigerian employees corrupting their setup with our ways. |

The moment a robbery is committed with a firearm, even if the amount stolen is N20, it carries a death sentence. That is the law in Nigeria. Armed robbery is an offence punishable by death in Nigeria. That is how it is. So all these sentiments based on the amount stolen will not have any effect on the prescribed penalty for the offence. Once it is proven that the assailant carried a firearm, that is it. |
