So Dangote will sell at less than N460 NNPCL is currently selling as sole importer. That's because Dangote's refinery is bigger than the average and thus produces at lower than the average cost. He doesn't import and pay for transportation but pipes it down to his refining complex. If Dangote doesn't do long throat, he can sell at N400 or less.
There is likely going to be a convergence of Exchange Rates so it should strengthen the Naira and reduce the per litre of petrol.

Removal of petrol subsidy is down to fiscal indiscipline, lack of will to tackle corruption and power intoxication.

If not, the govt should favour employing 10,000 hands to man the border and infiltrate the smugglers. Paying them N75,000 a month comes to N750m a month and N10B/yr. That's like what smugglers make in a day or two according to general subsidy figures being bandied around.
